I'm in a trial of Zoom and I need to make sure it will meet our needs. Currently, our Main Number rings a hunt group M-F 8AM - 5PM and is backed up by a daytime Auto Attendant. M-F after hours, calls go directly to a Night Attendant. All Day Saturday, calls go directly to a Night Auto Attendant. On Sunday morning from 7AM - noon and 4PM - 6PM calls go to that same Hunt Group and are backdup up by the Night Auto Attendant if unanswered. Can we set that up on Zoom?
I cant open the downloaded zoom desktop application. I have a mac with the OS Ventura. Every time I try to install it it stops at the last point saying I need to contact help center. And when I try to submit a request Zoom says my email is not associated to an account, although I am logged in. Can anyone help me?
Hi, I'm trying to work out or find a workflow with end user screenshots that depict the user journey from entering your event hub, clicking on an event registering and purchasing a ticket through to entering the lobby, joining the session and doing a post survey. What I want to see is how when I configure the hub and events and change various settings how it changes/impacts what the user sees and experiences. My natural logic tells me that when I click on the event, I can see what the event is about, who is speaking, what ticket options there are with pricing and then click on a ticket which will then allow me to register and pay. However it does not appear to "flow" and Look like this.
I have an upcoming meeting that could hit the 500-participant cap. I want to understand what the cap means. Is it 500 users at a single moment? Or is it 500 distinct users over the life of the meeting itself? Could I potentially have a list of 1000 people that attended, but fewer than 500 at any given moment?
According to the Zoom Apps FAQ: Is my device eligible for Zoom Apps? Which devices can I use it on?Zoom Apps require the Zoom desktop client for Windows and MacOS. Zoom Apps are not supported on mobile devices at this time. When will Linux be supported for Zoom apps? Thanks-TAB
Does anyone have a way to use some sort of annotations or mark up tools or something when sharing a video using the advanced tab?I can't seem to find anything. Thanks
Every time I join a Zoom meeting using the app from my Android phone, it disconnects after only a few seconds. It automatically reconnects and disconnects again after another few seconds, ad infinitum.
Is there a way to bypass the Zoom voicemail instruction prompt when you are routed to voicemail for a Zoom Phone user. It appears that pressing the hash key (#) will bypass the personal greeting, but then the voicemail instructions still play. Experienced callers don't necessarily want to hear the instructions every time, but I also don't want to eliminate the recording as newer callers may appreciate that. Thanks!
What could cause audio feedback or echo during Zoom meetings, and how to get rid of it?
the invite is not saving the senders email
When I am on a Zoom conference call (number of participants does not matter) and I put myself on mute, the audio I hear from other participants starts cutting out. I get 2-3 seconds of audio and then 3-5 seconds of nothing. I also get an "Unstable internet connection" notification at some point. However, as soon as I unmute myself, everything is fine and goes back to normal. Both my wife and I are on different computers (me a MacBook Pro, she a Windows 10 laptop) and are experiencing this problem. Not using VPN. Makes no difference if I am hardwired or using WiFi.Seems to be a known issue:https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/k7cqyw/audio_cutting_out_when_muted/https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/ipqcsx/audio_cutting_out_followed_by_internet_connection/https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/ijh2hs/zoom_audio_cuts_out_for_a_second_once_every/Some people seem to have luck "solving" this problem by using a VPN. I've also tried the noise suppression and signal processing options. This s
We need to postpone a webinar from Thursday until next Tuesday. I'd like to start the webinar on Thursday and monitor for attendees who don't get word of the postponement. I want to use the same link (original link) on Tuesday. Can I start the webinar on Thursday and then re-start the webinar next Tuesday all using the same link?
Is it possible to add a "lock" feature, which locks properties of an item while keeping it movable?I use whiteboards in teaching: students should arrange several objects into correct order. It is annoying to see the students constantly changing the size of objects or accidently adding arrows, while trying to move them...
Hello, I have a mix of Zoom Room device head units: 1x Windows PC 2x Neat Appliances1x Logitech Roomate Appliance We are running duals displays that are not hooked up to any networking or Zoom controls. GOAL: I want to setup Device Operation Time so that my displays turn black during non business hours and then start displaying again during business hours. Following these two articles: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0064233https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066604 ISSUE: When it is not during business hours the head units should start sending a black signal to our displays. However the behavior thus far is that once DOT is trigged the displays simply revert to the custom background I set globally as if the headunit did receive a command. Was there a delay in when the head unit starts sending the black signal to the displays? Please find my settings
When I click on apps on my phone, Jeenie comes up but when I click on apps in my Zoom desktop/PC, Jeenie does not appear in the dropdown menu. In order to receive interpreted calls, I need to log in to Jeenie but how do I do that using Zoom on my PC?
Hi there, My music partner and i have been enjyoing playing together over zoom using live performance audio mode. We both use audio interfaces and mics during the sessions and all the audio from the mics is transmitting well. However, neither of us is able to hear the other play midi instruments in Logic Pro. In 'original sound for musicians' mode this was not a problem. Is there a way to share this audio in live performance mode? Thank you for your help!
We currently use a Crestron system in concert with a Zoom Room Native Controls profile. We wouldn't need the added complexity if we could delay a message in ZRNCs. The problem is when someone unplugs and plugs back in too quickly, and the projector or display continues to shut down because it missed the message during its cool-down phase. We wouldn't need Crestron to create the buffer if we could send a second "on" command a few seconds later to reinforce the intended outcome.
I have a free Google voice number I've used for years. I was trying to find out if I can port this number to Zoom phone. I tried the virtual assistant, and it has no clue. Nor could I find anything here about it. I tried calling both the sales and support voice lines, and the system just ends up terminating the call. This of course after it discovered I was just a single user. Not exactly a warm fuzzy right off the bat. So, I would still love to know the answer. Can a number from legacy free Google voice be ported to zoom phone?
When either a Zoom Phone user or Zoom Contact Center agent receives a call, and needs to transfer it to an external party (BYOC or BYOP), the receiver of the transfered call sees ZP user number or ZCC queue number. Original Caller Id is not sent to the SBC: there is neither history nor diversion header. Could it be implemented?
When I share an audio file in a meeting, there's a pen over the stop button of my audio file preventing me from clicking on the stop. It also happens with video files. It's very annoying. How can I get rid of the pen and have the STOP button clear when sharing my screen?
I had a conference with 20 people, but unfortunately, I couldn't log into Zoom for unknown reasons. When I entered the conference, the participants couldn't hear me, and then they couldn't see me. When I switched my account and logged in under someone else's account, Zoom granted access to audio and video. The device I used to log in is fine, as I constantly work from it in Zoom. What could be the reason for this problem?
We bought the translation service and tested it out with one of our spanish speakers and she was unable to understand what was being translated. She said it was just random things - as we were testing out it typed up "david bowie" in the bar and we said nothing about David Bowie. We are not able to test other languages at this time. I was also under the impression that any attendee would be able to change the captioning to their preferred language, but it will only allow one language to be translated during the meeting which was very disappointing. I know $5 per month is not a huge amount, but it does not work as advertised.

Hi, I pay for Zoom, Zoom Workplace Pro $14.99 a month! I cant talk to Zoom my plan doesn't cover that privilege.I had loads of problems getting to work on my new Samsung. ( Iv been using zoom for years on my old one!)Now every time my computer turns of it wants to update then it crashes and zoom wont open. 1) Simple but probably not the best solution how do I stop updates? I followed instructions to the management of updates in the portal. I get this.... To manage your Windows system updates, please upgrade Zoom Rooms to 5.2.0 (5.2.2940.0927) or later, and keep Zoom Rooms in login. If I update Zoom wont open.2) how do I get the updated version to open Zoom. I cant risk uninstalling it, It took hours of emails and workarounds from Zoom to get it to work in the first place.Thank you to anyone who reads this and a bigger thank you if you have a fix!
When I enter zoom I have a "Failed to detect microphone" pop up. How do I fix this
