I have several sites listed by cities.I'm trying to limit digital content admin rights to just a few units at each location. When I go to the specific device, I'm not able to just give to each unit. it's grey out and to the far right, I see: Using Account Settings. I don't see an option in account settings to list digital content admin settings per device. I don't want to give access to a Floor settings, I want each unit. thanks
First of all why do i have to create a new username for this if I am a Zoom account holder? doesnt make any sense, but i digress.. Does anyone know how to save a contact in a Zoom Room account for future zoom rooms set up? This would make it easier and more efficient when starting a zoom room, never mind avoiding future mistakes when typing in the email address. I have tried it myself in a Zoom Room as well as scoured support for something -anything- but it looks like all saved have to be on our account. Anyone have any luck in saving contacts (email addresses) to be used for future Zoom Rooms? Thank you in advance!KTag
Is it possible to use two poly bars for one Zoom room? I know you can use this with Huddly cameras, but using two poly bars in the same space would be amazing. I tried reaching out to HP, and they said it is possible, but it was not a confident response.
We’ve been using NDI with Zoom Rooms into a Tricaster successfully for some time now. Great quality. After the last Zoom Rooms update, though, I have noticed the occasional signal breakup (green horizontal bolts) on one or two random output channels. Usually, it happens during events with more than two participants, though not always. The breakup interestingly never affects the share screen output and the breakup doesn’t show on the Zoom Room screen. The quick fix has been to change the output “channel” to another NDI output. That, however, isn’t always the final solution. In time, that channel breaks up too and we switch to yet another NDI output. The Zoom Rooms box is a core i9 and the network is not stressed. I changed the Cat6 cable and no change. I am able to get NDI output using another app (VideoCom) without issue. Anyone else seen this or have ideas?
It appears to be a client app that doesn't have an in-app setting?
We make extensive use of Auto-Framing with our older Poly X50. Recently we purchased some new Poly X72 units and were extremely disappointed to find that they do not appear to support this feature. Does anyone know if there is a way to get Zoom Room participant framing working with the Poly X72? Thank you.
Seeing this happen more and more in one of our rooms that utilizes a Poly Studio G62. Anyone else running into this issue/know how to permanently resolve?
How do I save chats on zoom when I don't have the three dots option
In Zoom Room installer version 5.11.7, the login password was stored in the windows registry. The password was stored in HKLM/software/microsoft//windows nt/current version/winlogonWe have recently upgraded to version 6.6.4 and it appears that the password is no longer stored in registry.where is the password stored now ?was this change part of recent security enhancement ?which version introduced this improvement?
Recommendation: Add Zoom Rooms to Microsoft StoreMaking Zoom Rooms available through the Microsoft Store would simplify enterprise deployment and management.Companies would no longer need to download or update .exe files manually.IT teams could deploy Zoom Rooms directly through Microsoft Endpoint Manager or Intune, ensuring consistent installation across all devices.Updates would be handled automatically by the Store, reducing IT overhead and keeping systems secure.Distribution through the Store ensures organizations are using the official, validated version of Zoom Rooms. Conclusion: Adding Zoom Rooms to the Microsoft Store eliminates repetitive manual updates and provides enterprises with a secure, scalable, and efficient way to deploy and maintain the application.
When we start our Zoom Rooms app on a Mac mini connected to a large-format (maybe 90-inch) Samsung display, we notice that the MacOS dock gets much larger just before the Room Name, Sharing Key and time appear on the screen. We think the Mac screen resolution is being downscaled, which results in lower-resolution profile pictures and less-than-1080 HD (we have that option on our account) resolution on our meetings and shared screens. Has anyone been able to force Zoom Rooms to keep the native high-resolutions that we seen when we are looking at the Mac desktop on the same screen? Any ideas please?
Hello,It would be nice to be able to get the website of the URL we setup refreshed every X amount of time set up in the digital signage option.
Hi, I want to know if it is possible to inject multiple audio channels (DANTE) directly into Zoom Rooms for the language interpretation. This way, you don't need to have multiple laptops for each language. It's easier when the translators are physically present in the same place and the translation needs to be sent via Zoom. Best regards
Hey All, After upgrading to ZR version 6.6 it looks like HDMI content isnt able to be shared into Zoom via the Crestron HDMI Converter on a UC Engine. Since min version was just enforced, I can no longer downgrade to a 6.5.x version. Has anyone else see this? thanks
Hi Team,I'm not sure if anyone has experienced this issue, but every time I share my laptop screen with video in a Zoom Room, the audio plays from both the laptop and the Zoom Room speaker where I'm sitting. It's a bit annoying, and other users have reported the same problem. Is there any way to ensure that the audio only comes from the Zoom Room speakers and not from the laptop that we're sharing the screen from?
We have an MTR device (Lenovo Hub) also supporting Zoom. After the latest MTR update, our Zoom calls no longer show on the room's dual monitors, only a single monitor. We have the dual monitors choice selected. Our Teams calls still appear on the dual monitors, so it's not a routing or monitor issue. Is anyone else encountering this problem? Does anyone know of a solution?
Buenos días, ¿Existe alguna forma de habilitar que el nombre de la sala aparezca también en los controladores de Zoom Rooms, tal como se muestra en las pantallas de proyección? Saludos.
Hello Zoom community. I'd like to know how to launch two rooms simultaneously: one with a personal meeting ID and the other without.
Hello ,I seem to be having problems turning on and off my projector using my TAP controller. When i built Zoom Conference rooms it was more simple to connect with my LG 86" Monitors with the networkHello ,I am having problems turning on and off my projector using my TAP controller. When I built Zoom Conference rooms it was simpler to connect with my LG 86" Monitors with the network and code . But the projectors are just not working, and I do not have the level to do more code in dept to make it work I will explain it. I have designed a Zoom room classroom, and everything works great except the projectors . I had help with the Json program for the TV monitors, but it is not working for the projectors, and this is my only problem . It was once a Crestron Room, but it had no Hybrid system .So to cut costs and make the room better for a classroom Zoom room I changed it all except the amp and the Speakers . If someone could help me with some connecting diagrams, and any code that
HelloWe currently have one Zoom Room set up with Office 365 calendar integration, running on a Neat Bar. We’re using Pexip to enable interoperability with Microsoft Teams. When we schedule a Teams meeting and invite the room, it appears correctly on the Zoom Room controller (running in Zoom mode). However, when we attempt to join the meeting, the system places us in the lobby until someone admits us.Is there a way to configure it so that when we click Join, the room is connected directly to the call without needing to be admitted? We’ve noticed the same behavior on native Zoom meetings as well — even with the waiting room feature turned off both on the Zoom Room and in the general Zoom portal settings.Any guidance or suggestions on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.
Hello. It is required per California Code that all conference rooms with audio/video be equipped with an assistive listening system. I have a small, simple conference room with one screen, running a Zoom Rooms appliance (say, a Neat Bar or a Logitech Rally Bar). I need this appliance to give me an aux audio output (e.g. 3.5mm jack) that contains the call audio that I can feed into the audio input of my assistive listening transmitter. So far I haven't found any all-in-one Zoom Appliance that has an aux audio out - do you know of any out there? If I were to use a dedicated computer (Logitech Roommate, Intel NUC, ...), would Zoom Rooms let me output call audio to two peripherals at the same time (1. USB audio peripheral for the room (a sound bar for instance), and 2. the front audio jack connected to assistive listening transmitter) ?Is my only choice to use an audio splitter after the selected audio output? This seems messy.I hope this makes sense. Thanks so much!Léo.
Our small church has been using Zoom Rooms for hybrid worship services for several years. It has been a wonderful way for home-bound and remote members to stay connected, and we appreciate the two-way interaction that Zoom offers compared to streaming alternatives.Unfortunately, the experience has declined over time. My primary concern is audio quality:We use multiple inexpensive USB microphones (including those built into webcams). In past versions of Zoom Rooms, audio was good and worked reliably. But recent changes to noise suppression and echo cancellation have made the sound consistently worse. It is now difficult to achieve good audio. (We do have a direct analog connection from the church sound system, which works well — but only when the speaker is at the pulpit mic.) Please consider fixing the USB audio issues, even if that means reverting to an earlier implementation. And while I am complaining, other issues we’ve noticed:Microphone selection requires too many steps. On the ta
Dear sir Under the above subject Please provide us the ECCN for Zoom Workplace Enterprise Named Host Annual .Is there a regulation for the above product for re-export ? If there is please name us the country we cannot re-export.
I’d like to share a suggestion regarding the “Allow all users to remotely check in/out through their Zoom account” setting.Currently, this option is only available at the Workspaces level, but we believe it would be much more flexible if it could also be configured at the Floor level. This would allow administrators to tailor the check-in experience based on the needs of each floor — for example, enabling QR code-only check-in on one floor, and allowing both app and QR code check-in on another.Right now, the setup feels a bit rigid, and adding this option to the Floor settings would greatly improve usability and adaptability across different office layouts and workflows. We hope the development team can consider this enhancement in future updates.
