Dear Zoom community, I have been recording on Zoom with my desktop computer. However, I went on a trip and bought a Samsung Chrome laptop to do the same. However, after downloading the application, there is no record button, even after changing the settings on my profile as indicated. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, graciously. It would be nice to have an "Add queue" button on the user's settings page in the Phone Management area. It would facilitate adding multiple call queues to a new person rather than having to go into each queue and add the person. It would make things much easier and faster.
Any recommendations for note-taking apps for Zoom?
Uninstalled and Reinstalled zoom to update the app, when that happened all the sms messages disappeared. Is there a way to get this back?
Zoom is not very accessible for Deaf students like me. Every time I join a meeting or a class, I must use an iPad with my MacBook so that I can pin the interpreters to full screen on my MacBook's Zoom app while the iPad Zoom is set to automatically spotlight whoever is speaking or showing the slides. The sounds on both MacBook and iPad are already disabled, but whenever a zoom meeting starts, it bumps up the iPad's sounds.I got in trouble in the library today because I didn't hear it and got scolded by the staff. I know I turned the volume off before I started the meeting but for some reason the Zoom app forced the volume back on. How do I completely kill the sound from the iPad zoom app? I need the sounds disabled so I can use the iPad for my class this semester or else my grades will suffer.My iPad is Mini 6th generation with latest iOS and latest Zoom app.
Is there a way to force users into a breakout room without them needing to click the "join" button? No matter what setting I change it doesn't seem to affect if that message appears or not. Some of my meeting attendees are automatically moved, while others still receive the dialogue box. To expand on that - if the suer doesn't accept the invitation to the first breakout room I am unable to assign them to another. There is no option to move them around if they don't accept the first one. Overall - how do I turn off their ability to accept and just force them into the room? Thanks!
Hello, We have a recurring monthly meeting with external sponsors and the zoom meeting details that have been given out are the "owner" of the zoom account. Unfortunately he had a medical emergency and is out for the next few days. I'm an admin on the account - is there any way I can "take over" his account so I can proctor the meeting tomorrow instead of having to send out new zoom details? Our fear is that there are quite a few members and we don't want to confuse folks with the revised invite.
Is there a way to move a participant back into a breakout room after they have left that breakout room to go back to the main session? When a participant is moved back into the main session, there is no longer an option to move them to the breakout room.
Is there a way to set a default view (speaker or gallery) when joining Zoom Meeting so it doesn't need to be changed on a meeting by meeting basis? Thank you!
I created a zoom meeting. There is a security saction where you have to choose al least 1 of 3 options and the default one (that I always choose) is "anyone with the meeting passcode or the link can join the meeting".However sometimes it asks the attendees the put the passcode in order to join and I don't understand why. I tought maybe it's becasue I myself didn't join the meeting yet but that should not be the problem since I made a colleague a host as well when I created the meeting, and Zoom required a password of him as well.Does that mean the creator of the meeting always need to attend even when other users are the hosts?
Hi, Having trouble with Air Pods connecting to Zoom on my laptop. Tried everything including reparing. Says it is connected but them on a Zoom call noone can hear me. Tried all the Zoom troubleshooting stuff. I know the AirPods are functional as I used them on a phone call. Any suggestions would be welcome Thanks!
I am also bewildered by another issue with AI Companion -- having it auto-start summary for every meeting. I believe I've checked all the right setup boxes, and it does seem to work - occasionally. Is anyone else experiencing this? Are there any checklists/tips/tricks for setting it up properly?
AI summary is turned on by default for all my meetings, but some meetings do not provide a summary at all. This is super inconvenient when you don't take notes because you think this is working reliably.Any suggestions on what is going on here?
I've had two instances where my scheduled appointments were cancelled, but they still show as busy when others try to book an appointment with me. This is becoming a problem. How can I fix this and what might be causing it? Hello,I frequently use zoom to record interviews and have noticed that when I record locally, the recordings do not align with the settings I have on my account. That is, there are not separate audio and video recordings for each participant. How can I make local recordings align with these settings?
Evening all I am suddenly having issues adding external contacts/users to my channels. I have been able to do this for years yet suddenly today I am unable to. It states that an invite has been sent to the account yet those account holders have received nothing in their emails or on zoom client. This is a huge part of the way we use Zoom as we are easily able to share resources and docs with the appropriate accounts using the channel. So any help would be greatly appreciated. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360049320431 On the page above it states that admins can enable disable certain external users privileges yet I cannot find where I can do this.
Is this a known issue? The link will appear in the AI Companion section but it links back to the first instance of the meeting and the old AI summary. The new one is nowhere to be found.
Hello,I have encountered an issue while using Zoom. During a conference, I cannot hear the other participant, and they cannot hear me. Upon checking the microphone and sound, no issues were found. This problem occurs on both my computer and phone. When using the web version, I don't experience these problems, but it lacks the functionality I need.I would appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue.

My zoom meeting keeps quitting unexpectedly. Like during in the middle of a meeting, my zoom meet would just suddenly end as if it was shut off from the task manager or something. I am 100% sure this is not an internet problem. It probably ain't an account problem either. My professors in school use pro accounts so our meetings can go past 40 minutes. It also "mostly" occurs whenever I interact with another application in my desktop like Microsoft Edge. I would simply click on my browser sometimes and the Zoom meeting window would just exit by itself. There were also times where during a meeting, my entire desktop would LITERARY run in 3 fps. Yes, the entire desktop. My mouse would move incredibly slow and the sound would stutter. This would last for 5-10 seconds until the zoom meeting client would end by itself once again. Currently I'm using zoom via web browser so that it won't quit unexpectedly again but the browser version is really slow though. There must be something in my pc th
im trying to download a recording to save onto my PC that iv done many times before but lately its not letting me. i fill in my name and email and click im not a robot and press register then it just takes me straight back to the same page
Can anyone tell me how to record a meeting I have a Live session coming up that I am setting up for a client and she wants to record it if possible - we only have the free version and I have seen 'Clips' is available but what would be best and how do you do it please to record the whole 40 minute session? many thanks. I have tried searching and found the guideline but it states to go in to Account management and account settings - which i don't have and something about Admin rights - which I don't believe I have on a free account? Help....
I use "no fixed time" recurring meetings for my lessons. I have over 40, neatly arranged in alphabetical order. It used to be simple to set this type of meeting up, but Zoom, in their desire to make things ever more convoluted, relegated the option to set up this type of meetings from the web, so now, instead of 30 seconds from the app, as it was before, takes me over 5 minutes to set up a new meeting from the web (and of course, editing no fixed time recurring meetings from the app totally messes them up). In their endeavour to break what was working fine, they also all but hid all recurring meetings from the app, placing them under layers and layers of buttons, so that we can waste our time hunting them in calendars that we don’t use. In my irredeemable contrariness, I discovered that one can install a previous version of the app, where recurring meetings were still easily visible (version 6.1.12 46889 was the last one that did that), and untick the "automatic update"
