Hey All, There's been previous posts with this question with no answer that I could find - still getting this error on the newest Zoom plug-in, 5.14.10.876. This is happening only about 10% of the time and will reset the description back to default. We've seen this both while updating a meeting description after it's created, and even when opening an existing meeting, not making any changes, then closing. Need to get a fix going for this, I look forward to what people think!
I’ve noticed that if we are updating a Zoom meeting request, Zoom automatically reverts to its initial default setting, regardless of the information we had previously included in that meeting request. it gives a pop-up that says "the event description will be replaced with the zoom default invitation. Your previous event description will be copied to the clipboard"
If a participant leaves a separate meeting room in the meantime and returns to the plenary room, I can no longer reassign the participant to the separate meeting room. I only see that the participant is 'not participating'. I cannot select this participant in the 'Add participants' text box because the participant does not appear there. The participant remains standing under the separate meeting room with the text 'not participating'.Previously, I could reassign a particpant without problems. What has changed in Zoom and how do I do this now? Or is this a bug?Only if the participant completely leaves the meeting and then logs in again, can I select the participant again under 'Add participants' and add them back to the breakout room.
Hello I would like to know if Zoom has any feature to take some out if the came is not open in the meeting?
I'm a teacher who uses Zoom for weekly classes. My students are in high school and have a high-school sense of humor. Which is fine, but can get inappropriate at times. I'd love to see the following features added to the Chat within meetings:1) The ability for the Host/CoHost to delete comments or chats made that they deem inappropriate.2) The ability for the Host/CoHost to stop one participant from the ability to write in chat, without kicking them out of the meeting altogether. These would really help me moderate student behavior, without making a student miss a lesson.
Hi, When I create a webinar there's now a sentence that appears on the registration page that I've never seen before. Does anyone know where I can find this sentence in the system to edit it? It says "Information you provide when registering will be shared with the account owner and host and can be used and shared by them in accordance with their Terms and Privacy Policy." We're getting a negative reaction about the word "share". It implies that we're sharing their personal information with others. I want to reword the sentence so that it doesn't alarm people. Also the anchor text "account owner" is not accurate anchor text to describe where the link goes. It does not go to information about the account owner. It goes to the Zoom article called "Understanding Zoom privacy alerts". (which in itself is confusing because it doesn't differentiate between attending meetings and attending webinars.) If we can't edit it, I suggest that Zoom reword it to something like
Ive followed every link - turned on every toggle - given myself user permission but still there is no translate option next to the captions button Under Captions and translation, enable Translation, and select the language you want the captions translated to.Next to the Show Caption button, click the upmine says CAPTIONS but no TRANSLATE, even though ive been into user management and clicked that and ive been into advanced settings and done as prescribed. anyone else have that issue ?
I have purchased the translated caption add-on and made a test to see how it functions. Unfortunately, the quality was not the expected one. One cannot really understand nor follow what is being said. Both host and user had the updated version of Zoom (6.2.0), and we were both on desktops. We were speaking in English and enabled the translated caption to Spanish. It was difficult to follow the translation, with many errors and the speed was also very quick. The AI starts translating literally but as the phrase is developing, it might propose a word, and then change it on the way because it doesn't fit well with the whole phrase. Meanwhile, the whole phrase is over and the next one starts so things get mixed up. I have a video to exemplify this if needed.
I've checked desktop and system settings, and also zoom time settings. Zoom continues to give me reminders a whole hour before. Somewhere Zoom thinks and reminds me of appointments a whole hour earlier than actual. How do I fix this. I've done all the obvious fixes, need next level suggestions. For the past 2 days whenever I make a call on zoom phone I can hear the other person but they cannot hear me. I tested my audio in settings and nothing is working. I have microphone enabled for zoom in my settings. I don't know why it is all of a sudden not working, i already followed this article but didn't work

Has anyone had issues when trying to Join Zoom Meeting from a Logitech Rally Bar that is setup as a Teams Room primarily. We have seen issues from time to time when trying to join Zoom meetings from the Logitech Rally Bar Teams Room system. I am having two users (I have 4 total using Zoom Phone) who have difficulty transferring from User 1 to User 2.. They are in the same Shared Ling Group, have their time zones set but with working hours for the firm at 24/7, what else could be wrong? User 1 gets a "We're sorry, no one is available to take your call" message when trying to transfer to user 2. I checked for working hours, unchecked the "Hide incoming calls while in a Zoom meeting" option in the desktop app, I've compared settings for user 2 and they are the same as every other user. What could be causing that error message?
When I launch a meeting on my ASUS laptop and send an invite link, the joining guest can not hear and see me although the mic and camera indicators are on, and I can hear and see myself, but not them. This has repeated on multiple occasions with the laptop, but when I switch to phone, everything is fine. I have been using zoom on this very laptop for 4 years.The connection is from the same wifi spot as my phone. I have rebooted my laptop. I have updated Windows and zoom recently.
Is there a way to add or import someone else's weekly recurring meeting within zoom to my zoom scheduled meetings-so when I click My Meetings it is listed automatically there and I can join right from the zoom interface? Seems like there should be a way within zoom to add a scheduled meeting I always attend but someone else hosts to My Meeting list/ schedule? I'd like to be able to join the meeting directly from the Zoom app without having to look for the link or meeting ID and password. I don't want to use outlook or calendar apps to set reminders etc. Specifically asking if this is possible through Zoom. Thank you.
I schedule Zoom meetings on behalf of my supervisor, using the Zoom for Google Workspace plugin. When I schedule, I ensure that my supervisor is the host, not me. Still, when she starts the meeting and I am not present, if anyone needs to screen-share, they cannot. I have to join the meeting (at which point I automatically become the host), and then give her host permissions. Then she can allow screen-sharing. I don't understand why she is not being given host permissions when she starts these meetings, if she is listed as the host after I schedule. This causes a major issue if I am not immediately available to join the meeting to give her host permissions. Anyone know why this would be? Thank you!
A colleague created a Zoom event, transferred ownership of the Gmail invitation to me. when I add invitees, the message: Meeting xxxxxxx is not found or has expired. However, when I click on the Zoom link in the invitation, the meeting is active. When others click the Zoom link, the meeting is active. Anyone have any idea what is going on?? I'm on a Mac.

Hello, I am trying to figure out if it is possible to upload a recorded Zoom meeting from one account to a separate account. I am not trying to delete the original account, just basically uploading a mp4 file of a recorded Zoom meeting from another account to my account. Is this possible?
Is there a way i can force the code snippet feature in zoom chat to use a fixed font? It uses some non-serif font that causes the code and any data to be out of alignment. Doesn't matter what drop down I use for code style, it always shows up unformatted. None of the columns line up.
Hello, I have just upgraded to Business to take advantage of Scheduler to be able to edit and send confirmation/reminder emails to registrants. But, I can't see how I do this for existing/recurring meetings. Is it even possible? Please could someone post a link to the appropriate help page? Thank you 🙂
An spammer is using zoom
In the previous version of Zoom (IOS), after a meeting was scheduled, the email invitation automatically appeared. With the new version, I must manually go to Meetings, copy the invitation, and switch to my email app. These extra steps are a hindrance. Is there a way to have the new version automatically display an email invitation after a meeting has been scheduled?
Hi there, I am trying to export the unique join links of registrants in Meetings and Webinars, but i cannot see a way to do it in bulk. I can copy the link one by one, but if the participants are too many, it is very time consuming and tedious to do this. Is there a way to export the unique registrants' join links in bulk?My plan is Zoom Workplace Pro.
"Add failed, the calendar-related access permissions are not allowed." Cannot start zoom on Mac laptop.Zoom is asking me to connect to mail and calendar and when I do try to connect google calendar, I get this response:"Add failed, the calendar-related access permissions are not allowed." Please HELP! How do we remove this feature from zoom and revert back to the original way of logging on without Zoom mail/calendar. Thanks!
