Hello, I really hope you can help. Could someone please tell me or direct me to an article that explains why, when they are both connected to the same meeting, a host cannot launch the AI Companion, but only the alternative host can? I thought the host was the primary individual responsible for managing the meeting. Thank you!
Hello. We have some issues from our clients about technical difficulties with connecting to zoom. Clients don't have problem with connection, we've checked. They see Connecting. VPN don't help.
I have a Macbook Air with Sequoia 15.0.1 operating system and for about two months, the zoom screen image replicates on all 9 desktops of the Mac! Does anyone know how to see it only on one of the desktops and leave the others free? I want to let you know that I have the same problem with QuickTime Player whose image I see replicated on all 9 desktops of my Mac!Thanks for your attention.
It says I need to contact my admin to remove a password from my meeting room, but I don't have an admin. Anyone know how to fix this? I tried to follow steps from a previous question, but going to User Management Roles to enter myself as admin doesn't work, there's no place to add myself as admin. It just asks for billing information, but I'm on the free version.
Is there a way to set up downloads of cloud meeting recordings so that the meeting topic (ie the name I've given to each meeting) is part of the file name instead of just the GMT date and the series of numbers assigned to each meeting? I have about 100 meetings to download, and without a bulk download option I already have to do them one at a time, but I could do that quickly if they came down with the meeting topic as part of it; without it, I have to wait until each one downloads and change the name on all the files associated with that download so I don't lose track of what's what. SUCH a time waster! Thanks very much!
I cannot enter meetings rooms, when I click the link the windows opens and direct me to a waiting room where after some few seconds it closes, then the process repeats without being able to join the meeting,
Hello, I hope I selected the correct location and topic. I'm trying to set up my new employee to use the business zoom phone for inbound and outbound calls so they aren't using their own phone number. I'm not planning on giving them their own phone number I'd just like them to use my business number. I hope I can explain this correctly but here are my thoughts and what I'm looking for, if somebody could give me assistance on guidance. I guessing I'll need to purchase an alternate license for them because they'll require their own extension and the ability to log in via their own account/email. I'm not trying to give them a new number just the ability to log in and use our business line. I somebody could confirm this is what I need to do. I'm using Zoom 64-bit Windows client to deliver online lectures which are usually combination of talk, shared powerpoint presentation and videoclips. In the course of the lecture, I use New Share green button to toggle between my presentation and Windows media player (several times forth and back). Lecture is being recorded to the local machine. On today's lecture, the slides (video part of the presentation) was not recorded after the first toggle from media player to powerpoint (black screen), while sound (me talking to the mic) was recorded, as well as all videoclips. A week ago I was doing the same, but recorded my lecture to the cloud, and it went normal (except the resolution was lower than expected). I wonder how this issue of local recording can be fixed? I did many times with previous versions of zoom, and never had this issue.
When chatting or using the text editor on any function such as renaming, the text cursor jumps away from the text line when a person enters, a hand is raised or any other input to the system. This creates problems in communicating with cohosts and other important text entries. This issue was created after updating several updates ago. This was not always a problem, but it is a serious issue in running a meeting.
When viewing meetings on the Zoom.us/meeting and in the 'upcoming meetings' section, you used to be able to see what occurrence each meeting was directly under the time of the meeting (Examples: 'Occurrence 1 of 7' or 'Occurrence 10 of 14'). This feature has now been completely removed and it's impossible to tell which day/occurrence a meeting is on without needing to open the meeting details page. Also you can't see the total amount of occurrences there were on the meeting details page. PLEASE bring back this feature, it has made it incredibly difficult to navigate through meetings. I have example images showing how it was previously and how it looks now but unable to upload them here.
Hi, I just found out that my ZOOM Pro subcription does not provide audio transcripts of recorded meetings. I am writing my dissertation and I need those transcripts for academic ends. Should I upgrade to Businness? If so, will I lose my cloud recordings? What should I do? Thanks, P "Audio transcript setting not found"
Users are requesting a way to distinguish an incoming internal call (a call from an internal user) vs. a call from an external number. Is there a way to set a different ring tone for a direct call to someone's extension vs. a call to a call queue?

Are there any known issues in the current Zoom version, 6.1.5, regarding microphone audio working in a Teams meeting? In our client's zoom room everything works fine in a zoom meeting, however, in a Teams meeting joined from the room the microphone audio does not work. This is on a Crestron MX50-Z kit.
I converted a meeting to a webinar. All documentation and Zoom chatbot say the link changes but redirects - when it doesn't! I've sent an email inviting people with the zoom link, and now anyone who tries to access it is getting 404 as it converted the meeting to webinar and changed the link. What can be done so anyone clicking on the old link will be redirected to the new one?
Hi all, I've converted a zoom meeting to a webinar under the understanding that the old registration link will automatically redirect users to the new registration page to avoid any confusion by those who may open the first registration page (as directed by this zoom webpage https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0067900) however this does not seem to be the case. Instead users receive a "Uh Oh! You seem to have lost your way page" . Is anyone able to help? The meeting was set up with an automatically generated meeting ID
We have a pro account; we have been successfully recording meetings to the cloud. Our Annual meeting on Wednesday morning did not record properly although it said "recording". The recordings section has only 3 files with no content. We have not yet had this experience and the recorded meeting needs to be submitted to our board. Our meeting summary has the note "A summary was not generated due to insufficient transcript". I see other meetings in the recent past have 2 or 3 entries in the list of recordings and transcripts, but not the one I need. Is there any way you can help me recover the recording of this meeting?
Hi there, we noticed in our monthly Zoom reporting that it has started included Zoom calls with only 1 participant. We've reached out to some of our users and have found majority are user errors where they've joined the call, no one else shows up and they forget to disconnect. We can't think of any other instance where a call with only one participant would be considered a meeting that went ahead. We are considering excluding these calls from our tally of monthly completed calls. Has anyone else encountered this or have any background info on why these have started to be included in the reports? Thanks!
We use Zoom webinars and Pardot (aka Account Engagement). Our Pardot instance has multiple business units, each of which host webinars. We like to use Pardot form to capture registrations, so as to keep our corresponding SF campaigns and Zoom webinars in sync. I have had limited success in getting the Pardot app in the Zoom App marketplace to work. A big limitation thus far is that I cannot seem to integrate multiple business units at once. Does this app only support one Pardot business unit at a time?
Had a horrible experience today with Zoom and I'm working to avoid repeating that experience.Seeking how to access registration report and resend and access confirmation emails.Using Zoom version 5.17.2 (both Chrome and Opera on Windows 11)As today's session was getting started, I received several emails asking me to allow registrants to enter. Inside the meeting itself, I could find no way to allow entry. Later, I discovered this is supposed to happen outside the meeting and prior to the start. (why not from within the meeting?)For tomorrow, I've uploaded a csv with all the names and email addresses. Uploading worked beautifully. Yet, when I attempt to generate a Registration Report, the system searches for the date and finds nothing. The meeting is listed in My Meetings, but the Report generation interface states 'no data' for the meeting ID or the date of tomorrow's meeting.I searched for how to resend and access confirmation emails. the short version is 1. sign in, 2. go to Me

hello i have to attend 20 hours worth of classes over the weekend each class is 4 to 8 hours long. will the 40 minute limit kick me from the class?
I understood that the primary host would be the one to operate the breakout rooms. Now, I have noticed that when I make someone a co-host in order that they can share their screen, it shows them the breakout popup with the list of participants and their room. It also stays on their screen until they close it. I want them to share their screen, but not to be involved in participant placement in the breakouts. Where can I change that?
I'm based in Russia. If this is the case. When I start a conference (usually with 1 guest) it works all right. But as soon as more than 1 guest wants to join, any video whatsoever stops for all of us. Presumably, only 2 guests can speak and the third is lost...video gets lost for all of us. Sound can remain sometimes, sometimes not. Very poor service.
Last night, I began a Zoom meeting from the app on my phone. A classmate who joined the Zoom was supposed to be recording it for us. I granted permission for the Zoom recording, the class went great, and now we are unable to find the recording. She says it is not on her computer or Zoom account, and I was using Zoom from my phone, and am unable to find it on my phone or Zoom account (which is a basic account)Please help! This was a big assignment that is Due tomorrow!
