Hi Zoom Community user,I have installed zoom for lightning in my salesforce ecosystem. After trying and configuring zoom phone i found that Zoom phone icon is not visible in Custom Lightning App from Applauncher but its visible and working for Sales, Service console apps.Could anyone please let me know if there is any config i need to set to make it visible for all the custom lightning apps.One more issue i am facing with it is that for some users Icon label is showing as "Phone" but for some users its label is showing as different one like "RingCentral" which is another call center. How do i rename that.Please help me , stucked here.#salesforce
Has anyone else had issues loading Zoom pages this week? Every time I try to open Zoom or click into a specific page or open a previously scheduled Webinar or schedule a Webinar or basically ANYTHING Zoom just spins and spins and spins. I've updated my laptop, I've checked my Internet connection/speed, I've updated Google's Chrome browser, basically everything I can think of to help it load faster and all signs just keep pointing back to an issue with web version of Zoom. Pages are slow to load and elements on pages don't load at all to the point where I have to refresh the page twice and click into a different area and then back to the area I need to work in 3 times to see if MAYBE the elements will finally load.
I'm using Zoom mobile app. When I create or edit a meeting, Zoom automatically creates an email draft with meeting invitation. How can I stop this?
I'm holding a webinar and will be sharing my screen while speaking, butwhen I do this, the guest participants' screens will display something like "Host is speaking...",making it difficult for them to see the shared screen.Is it possible to set this to not display?
I'm using Zoom Workplace provided via my academic institution licence. I want to use the whiteboard voting feature during a workshop that will be attended by mostly external participants that are unlikely to have Zoom accounts. In my trials it seems that it is not possible to participate in a vote unless the person signs in. I want to keep the process as simple as possible as many of my participants are older. Is this a limitation of using the Whiteboards or am I missing something in the settings that I can change to allow everyone to vote?I know i can use polls, but the vote function in the whiteboard better suits my needs.
I have been trying to install zoom for linux on an archlinux based system, EneavourOS. I am following the instructions here https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0063458. I downloaded the latest version viacurl -L https://zoom.us/client/latest/zoom_x86_64.pkg.tar.gz -o zoom_x86_64.pkg.tar.xzthen ransudo pacman -U zoom_x86_64.pkg.tar.xzThe installation proceeded without error, but when I try to run zoom nothing happens at all. No GUI, no error message, nothing. On a whim I tried "sudo zoom" from a command line, and it works! It seems zoom requires root privileges to run. That seems wrong to me.I thought maybe there is a group I need to belong to to have the correct privileges, but I added myself to nearly all groups that seemed relevant and that didn't help. I have connected an external camera with audio to my laptop USB. I can see picture. I can see audio mic is working but I can not monitor my external mic. If I do a zoom meeting others can hear my audio but I can not. I want to be able to check that the audio is OK. Other programs easily allow me to monitor camera audio but ZOOM is not letting me.
Hello there,I was posting to see if anyone else has tried using Zoom Contact Center on ChromeOS PWA Playstore app. We were recently testing this out for a Pilot and for some reason after 3 days of successful calls, Internal transfers will no longer reach the Agent using the Chromebook's. We just get continuous ring on the caller side and then voicemail. If we call into the queue and dial the agents extension, the call will complete without issue.The challenge is the Contact Center is a client solution, not an internal solution, so were piloting this without their support and I don't know enough about the admin side of Contact Center. I'm curious if there are any known issues with the ChromeOS PWA playstore app (FYI, same issue if we launch in Browser or run from app), or if its possible the client monitored the calls being delivered to the PWA Playstore app -vs- the Zoom Windows Client they are used to seeing and blocked those internal calls.
I am wholly unimpressed with this so far. I ported a number in and received a confirmation email today, but could not get it to work. I can at least call out now, but it WILL NOT RING for incoming calls. Goes straight to voicemail...which I left a test message on, but it shows up NOWHERE. I also setup custom voicemail and that's not working either. On top of it, I tried to get support, and when I put in my meeting ID and pin, it tells me I'm not eligible to speak to someone! NOT HAPPY AT ALL
I deployed 6.0.10 to an endpoint with the following... msiexec.exe /i "ZoomInstallerFull.msi" zConfig="AU2_EnableAutoUpdate=true;AU2_SetUpdateChannel=1;AU2_EnableShowZoomUpdates=true;AU2_InstallAtIdleTime=true;AU2_EnableUpdateAvailableBanner=true;AU2_EnablePromptUpdateForAU2=true;AU2_EnableUpdateSuccessNotification=true" ALLUSERS=1 /qn /norestart /log output.log Zoom installed successfully. This version was intentionally chosen as it is slightly older than the current version 6.2.5. The option above AU2_SetUpdateChannel=1 was included as I understand this should install the latest available version. After waiting a few days, nothing happens on the endpoint. Zoom is open and has been running for hours, even overnight. Zoom has certainly been "idle" enough to trigger the update, but nothing is happening. If I am the host, and attendee requests recording of the session and I accept, and recording starts for that session, after the session where does that recording go? As host it is not in my cloud or local storage - does it get shared with the attendee? Thanks for any feedback!
I've been having this problem for months, but today I upgraded to version 6.2.3 (Linux, Ubuntu) and it got much worse. I was recording a Zoom meeting and I noticed lag when writing on the whiteboard. I opened `htop` and saw that Zoom was using the CPU at almost 100%, ALL the memory (that's 24 GB) and also all swap memory (2 GB). I was forced to kill Zoom and restart it. This makes Zoom practically unusable.
If I am a participant in a meeting and I don't want my comments summarized how do I inform the host and/or is there a permission setting to allow people to opt in or out? When meetings are recording you can see it's being recorded and ask it not be but I don't see a similar option for AI companion unless I am just missing it.
Hi !!!We received a notification that our publishable URL is set to expire in one week. Our app has already been submitted to the marketplace and is currently undergoing review. Is there a way to request an extension on the beta publishable URL to ensure our Zoom app remains active throughout the review process. Thank you
I run zoom for a church with 5 cameras and 6 microphones. Is there a way to make it easier to change cameras and mics rather than clicking on the little arrow and scrolling to the right device? Can I sync them so I can change the camera and the mic automatically changes as well. I would rather not use a secondary program like OBS.
the zoom app. when i listen to a voicemail it keeps staying on same volume (almost the highest) i can not turn it down. if i do lower the volume on mobile, it goes back up to the same volume when i listen to a new voicemail. any idea?
We have a zoom room that gives us the "Failed to start local share!" error when users try to hit the button "Share Content" on a Logitech TAP IP. If they start the meeting, hit share content, then they can proceed to share content like normal, but I don't know why this error occurs when it worked fine before. Thanks.
I am using New Outlook. When schedule a meeting, it opens the meeting invite in the classic outlook. However after clicking "Send", the invite does not go out until i later open the Classic version of Outlook. Is there a workaround?
"I recently hosted a Zoom session where I shared my screen, displaying both PowerPoint slides and a browser window. During the session, everything appeared correctly on-screen, but in the recording, the shared screen appeared significantly smaller than it did in real-time. This is the first time I’ve encountered this issue. I connected from a new device for this session—could there be a setting on this device that might have caused the error? Any insights on potential causes would be appreciated."
I have 5 templates created now and need more. However, i don't see where i can add a new template and modifying an existing one doesn't give me an option to save it as something new.
When I'm in a meeting with several participants I like to keep Zoom in Gallery view however every time someone starts talking for more than just a short comment, it jumps to Active Speaker mode. How do I stop that from happening?!? I chose Gallery for a reason, why is the program deciding I made the wrong choice?!
Meine Meetings werden nicht mehr angezeigt. Also der Ordner "https://us04web.zoom.us/meeting#/" ist komplett leer, ich kann auch keine neuen Meetings anlegen. Auf dem Handy sind sie noch sichtbar. My meetings are no longer displayed. The folder "https://us04web.zoom.us/meeting#/" is completely empty and I can't create any new meetings. They are still visible on my mobile phone.
