Hi. I have a room set up so that a hybrid meeting can take place. I need the computer to boot into Zoom with the appropriate camera, microphone etc all configured BUT also give the flexibility to change things during the session where required. How can I set things up so that it boots into the standard configuration every time rather than remembering the configuration the last user left it in? Some meetings will have an experienced zoom operator to control things but others might not have any technical expertise apart from the ability to start it up. It is very important for the non-expert user that it starts up in a consistent fashion. The computer is a Windows 11 laptop with the browser configured to remember the log on details and boots straight into Zoom from a shortcut to the meetings link.
The gallery view will not allow for side-by-side. It's only showing one user above the other.
We are wanting to have our remote staff join us in the head office whenever they want, so they feel part of the office (see everyone and listen/contribute to the general office gossip and conversations). What's the best way to organise this? Currently we have a recurring meeting that we start every morning - which works - but wondering if there is a better way.
When watching the video, it says to go to the top right of the screen and click on photo and it should take you to settings. I don't get that. I am on a basic plan and it just says PLANS AND PRICING and SIGN OUT. On the LHS of the screen I can go into MEETINGS, ADVANCED and check the VIRTUAL BACKGROUNDS and the tab is enabled. Again on the LHS I can go into ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, but no settings option comes up. Just ACCOUNT PROFILE, BILLING, REPORTS. In the written help, it says to log out and log back in as an administrator. How do I do that? My profile just calls me OWNER. But apparently you need to be a administrator to do the settings correctly. I remember when I first went onto Zoom I had access, and the 2nd time I went into Zoom, I didn't. I am going around in circles. Please help. I know the free basic plan does have access to backgrounds because I have a friend who does use one, but she has no idea what is wrong in my situation.
I have a client who is asking me for a SIP address for them to join a meeting. My account does not have any SIP/H.323 room system, it's just a normal pro account. All the info I've found says they need to enter the IP address followed by the meeting ID. But what IP address? do they need? Their IP address that the device is connected to? Do they need my public IP address? It's not at all clear what they need to join a meeting. Are they even able to join a regular meeting from this SIP thing? Likely my client has a shinny new thing that they have no idea how to use properly. And I really don't know anything about SIP connectors.
We have DTEN ON55 units with Zoom Room license. How do we host a meeting using the Zoom Room license? Does this eliminate the 40-minute meeting length restriction?
On iPad Controllers and Schedulers with or without SingleAppMode/Kiosk mode.As I understand it these security updates are included in main iOS point versions, so to me it makes some sense. What is the consensus? Best Practice? Disable Rapid Security Response on iPad Controllers and Schedulers, Yes or No? About Apple Rapid Security Response How to disable Apple Rapid Security Response
If I have a smart TV in our office lobby and would like to set it up for Digital Signage, what additional hardware or application is needed to communicate with our Zoom Account?
We use Zoom Room with Polycom X50 for our meeting rooms. If I search a zoom room from the calendar of the Zoom app, there is a very long email address attached to the zoom room. What are those email addresses and what do they do? BTW, can i change them somewhere of the admin portal? Thanks
Hi all, Could you please help to schedule a Microsoft Teams Room Zoom meeting without having to enter user name & passcode to join? Below is settings in my Zoom account portal (image: Zoom portal 1 & Zoom portal 2)But it's still asking me to enter the meeting passcode and Name before join the meeting (image: MRT1; MRT2) Thanks.
Zoom does not not recognize that I have zoom one Pro
Meetings seem to be freezing. Anyone else experiencing this recently? Has only just started happening.
I can't use my personal meeting room any more, why?
We've got 4 Zoom rooms, all with iPads running the Zoom app in kiosk mode. In the admin console we've enabled auto updates to install between midnight and 3am, yet updates never get installed. We had a big C-level meeting get delayed in the middle of the afternoon because updates needed to be installed before the app would run. Is there anything else we need to do besides enable auto updates in the admin console to make this work?
Hi!Curious if any users ran into similar issues with Google Calendar resources suddenly becoming unavailable for users at random moments after implementing the Zoom room check-in feature. By power of reduction, we have disabled the feature and the issues have disappeared.Full context:- Implemented Zoom-room check-in feature. We use Neat hardware. - Zoom rooms are connected to Google Calendar resources.- User reports sky-rocketed on following issue: a room was booked and accepted by the Google resource. At a later point, this room was then removed from the meeting/denied without cause. - Other root causes have been investigated without result. - Our other office does not have the check-in feature enabled > no issues. We have disabled the check-in feature as of 3 weeks, and the issues have disappeared.
Hello, Are USB HID usage tables available for Zoom and Zoom Rooms features and functionality, like mute sync or LED sync? I'm trying to confirm USB HID reports and related information for communicating. I understand that this information may not be generally available, and only available for vendors who are part of the hardware certification program. If that's the case, do you have anything I can refer to that shows that joining the certification program is required to access the USB HID usage tables? Thanks!-Ed
Does anyone know if there are small android devices that will run zoom room digital signage? I know that when I run zoom rooms on Logitech Rally Bars that I’m running on android. I’m wondering if there’s something small and easy to manage like a fire stick or a Chromecast or something like that we can run zoom digital displays on, rather than purposing a full PC for just a sign.
I cannot remove my Zoom Rooms licenses. Please help with the step by step on how to do it.
I try to setup our first Zoom Room Digital Signage ScreenCreated a ZOOM Room in the Zoom Web Portal for Digital Signage only. Connect a PC to the TV, downloaded the Zoom app, signed in and installed the ZOOM ROOM controller app. Then click on "Control nearby room". Entered the Register Key. Click connect. The register key failed every time I tried. I followed this setup: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4418659899021-Using-the-Zoom-Rooms-Controller-appDo I missed something? Do I have to go another route? All the Youtube videos I found only talk about the setup of an Digital Signage Room in the Zoom Web Portal.
We have dozens of Crestron TSW-1060s that operate as Zoom Room controllers for us, but as of this morning are unable to launch zoom. We receive the message, "Application could not be installed. Please ensure there is an internet connection." There is definitely an internet connection so there is some issue with these specific models and connecting to Zoom. Anyone know how to resolve?
I previously had the ability to turn the waiting room on or off in a meeting, now, it is no longer there. That seems like a basic security feature that should be available. Did Zoom remove that for basic account customers? Kind of lame....
Occasionally the time displayed on the TV from the Zoom Room computer is 1 minute behind the iPad controller in the room. Once the meeting is started it is in sync, and when the meeting is ended, the iPad's time changes and the Zoom Room's time remains the same for another minute. When the following meeting is started, the time stays the same. This doesn't affect functionality but does cause some meetings to go over by 1 minute because the time viewed on the zoom room is a minute behind. The computer's time appears to be correct, it's just the time displayed in the Zoom Room that is off. Any help or hints?
Hello All, We are a medical practice using Zoom for telehealth appointments. Zoom is not reassigning the host to another person. The clinician then cannot move on to the next Zoom meeting without ending the current meeting. How to fix this? Thanks.Ellen
We have a Samsung tablet running the Zoom Room controller and are able to invite the Room to the meeting. If the Zoom Room is in attendance of the meeting via the app, it appears the Room is not able to "share screen". i.e. its own items from the tablet storage. Is it possible to to have the Zoom Room controller tablet attend the meeting via the installed browser? Why do I ask? We have a day long event with presenters running a relay through the physical meeting room.We have a cumulative presentation which would allow the speakers to simply walk in begin, speak, exit.(Goal is to eliminate connection time, oh wait what slide are we on, disconnection/connection time.) What I see in my mind:tablet with Zoom Room controller off, not engagedon the tablet, Browser joins the Zoom via the link included in the calendar to the room(would the Zoom app need to be installed)Browser is now able to share slides from tablet and be "home base" for presenters as they relay through the
