1. Reason for Rollup Reference Limitations in Formulas & Future Support RoadmapIs the current inability to reference a Rollup column within a Formula (resulting in a #REF! error) an intended architectural decision designed to prevent performance bottlenecks (e.g., cascade updates) or circular dependencies? We would appreciate clarification on the technical reasoning behind this limitation. Furthermore, are there ongoing optimizations to address this, and if so, when can we expect this feature to be supported in your roadmap? 2. Schedule and Roadmap for Zoom Data Table API Re-releaseAccess to Zoom Data Table API endpoints is essential for our external automation and system integration plans.Could you please share the specific schedule or roadmap regarding when the Zoom Tables API will be re-released or made officially available to developers?
Hi team,I need clarity on whether Zoom provides an account-level configuration that allows us to programmatically set users' usernames and prevent them from editing them when they join class using link, meeting ID and passcode. My requirements:We want to set each user’s display name via code when they join meeting. We want to disable the ability for end users to modify their display name from the Zoom UI (web portal or app).We need to understand if this is supported through existing Zoom APIs, admin settings, or any specific account configuration. Can you confirm:Whether this level of control is supported? If yes, what exact API endpoints, account settings, or roles are required? If no, what alternative approach you recommend to enforce a fixed username for all users? Looking forward to your guidance. Thank you,Chirag Sanghvi
Hello, I am the newly appointed admin for our Pro Plan. We have approximately 10 scheduled recurring meetings each week. One meeting has decided they want all meeting reactions disabled for that meeting. The remaining meetings decided they want to have meeting reactions. I have searched Zoom help articles, elsewhere on the net and cannot find an answer or solution on how to do this for only one meeting. As admin I can only disable reactions for all meetings which we do not want to do. There is no control when signing in as host to disable them. I am aware that meeting participants can disable them only for themselves. This is not what we want.FYI The person who set up the admin for all meetings did not assign anyone to groups, just scheduled the recurring meetings with IDs and passcodes. I don't know if this makes a difference and can find no help in getting an answer about this. Detailed help would be most appreciated. Thanks.
Hallo, ich würde gerne die AI während des Meetings dahingehend unterstützen, daß die spätere Zusammenfassung besser wird. Also evtl Stichworte schriftlich oder verbal geben. Vielen Dank
I am developing a custom solution using Zoom Virtual Agent (ZVA) where customers provide image inputs during chat interactions. However, ZVA does not support image uploads out of the box, as confirmed in my previous case with you. In the CX Analytics tab > Logs > Transcripts, I can see the chat history, including attached images , which appear in the UI. To work around this, I want to programmatically fetch the transcript and the image attachment using APIs, as text responses can be passed via variables, but images require API access for processing (e.g., in AWS Lambda). I have explored the following APIs with a Server-to-Server OAuth app (scopes include contact_center:read:engagement:admin and contact_center:read:inbox_messages:admin): GET /contact_center/engagements/{engagementId}/events Response: {"code": 7001, "message": "Only voice and video channels are currently supported."} Limitation: Does not support messaging channels. GET /contact_center/messaging/messages?engagement_
Since the last update, when I go to the desktop site to add a new permanent recurring appointment at a non fixed time, I no longer have the ability to add a Topic that is customized. They all are created using "Zoom Meeting" so now I have 4 entries on my meeting list that are called "Zoom meetings." Typically I use the customer's name or initials so I can easily distinguish them. How can I edit them? Or set them up (again) to show up in my Meetings LIst as something specific?? thanks so much!Annette
It's been probably up to one year since I tried to upload my own virtual background for Zoom meetings. It never allows me to do so. It looks like image is uploaded but at the end it doesn't show up in my zoom profile to be picked as preferred option. I tried everything and I'm truly desperate. It seems like such a simple thing and yet it's not working. I found it bit ridiculous. I'm using Zorin OS, which is Linux Ubuntu.
What is the most effective way to distribute class materials (pdfs) to attendees of a Zoom event?
Hi Zoom Community, If a Presenter is unable to use the zoom app (blocked by their organisation) to present can they present through their browser in Zoom Events? If this is possible, how do we go about setting this up? Many thanks Richard
I created a paid event in Zoom events. However, it appears that registrants can login to the event from multiple devices. We want to prevent that so that paid registrants cannot share their login credentials to give access to a non-paid registrant. Is this possible?
How do I save chats on zoom when I don't have the three dots option
I have made recordings of two meetings. When the meetings ended, I received a message from Zoom that they were being transposed to mp4 audio files. I can't find these recordings in My Recordings in my account. How do I find them?
What is the best way to brainstorm a title with 100+ participants on Zoom offering their ideas that will show them other participant's ideas in real time? Is there a way that someone can "upvote" an idea rather than writing it again?
Hello, I'm new to Zoom and need some help. I want participants to be able to share their screen, but I'm not sure how to stop the sharing as the host. I want to maintain control over screen sharing and be able to end it when needed.I’d really appreciate it if someone could help.
i was asking for history meeting that i already created it from august to December
As a Customer Success Manager, I often see users get excited about Zoom AI Companion's ability to summarize meetings—but many don't realize that we have a powerful feature that makes those summaries perfectly structured for common meeting types.I'm talking about Zoom AI Companion’s Pre-Built Meeting Summary Templates. While creating custom templates requires the separate custom AI Companion add-on, every user on Business, Business Plus, Enterprise, or Education accounts, can now leverage the excellent pre-built templates Zoom provides for free! It’s the easiest way to elevate your post-meeting follow-up.Here's a look at the 9 pre-built templates to structure the AI Companion's output to match the intent and outcome of your meeting, ensuring key data doesn't get buried in a general summary.- One on One: Great for coaching, check-ins, and performance reviews. The summary will capture what was discussed, how it impacts the employee's development, and—most importantly—who owns the next ste
Is it possible to customize the Meeting Summary settings so that it follows a set meeting agenda rather than its own standard template? The AI Companion tools are great but we're needing to cut and paste what it captures to correctly follow our discussion. Also it doesn't seem to capture indiviudal motions and secondary votes in the discussion. thanks for any suggestions!
If transcript is selected and you can see the words throughout the entire meeting, why doesn't nothing generate after the meeting ends showing the full transcript automatically? It only exists if you click the save button and that seems really dumb. And, the transcripts are not saved in the zoom account like the recordings are, I can only find them in my OneDrive (which I never use) buried in a random file.
I use Zoom for my broadcasts, but several of my students are reporting that they can't rejoin the broadcast unless I end it and start a new one. I've tested it and I'm sure they're not logged in on other devices. It's probably a problem with Zoom not recognizing when students leave the webinar. Is anyone else facing the same problem?
Hi, Zoom Community,I get Zoom pop-up notifications on my Windows 10 desktop for every event on my Google calendar. I only want Zoom to notify me about Zoom events. How can I turn off Zoom's notifications for the non-Zoom events??Thank you!
When I set up a new meeting, I cannot see it in my app (so I cannot edit it there - e.g. add an alternative host, etc.). I can still see my meetings scheduled previously. I've updated Zoom to the newest version. It did not help.
Good day! I have been online with support for three days and GROK AI and read through Community suggestions. Online support finally said something is wrong with my ACCOUNT. How do I get that issues fixed. I have uploaded pictures to support and have an open case. I have had to use a different meeting platform because I can't SHARE my screen. I have another meeting TUES with 43 people and need to get this working!! Please help! Zoom support hasn't gotten back to me. I don't want to have to spend more money on another platform. All suggestions are welcome!! Thank you!🙂Linda
On the latest version of Zoom Workplace app, using a Lenovo workstation, and Yealink WH 64 wireless headset. Mostly it seems to work ok then for no reason calls will come in and when answered there is no audio. Keep the sound app open on another screen when this happens the mic appears dead. No moving of the volume as I speak. When I use in another app headset works fine. Then for no reason I can find the calls start working again. This happens intermittently, a reboot sometimes fixes sometimes not. I uninstalled and reinstalled the application, changes headsets, next is to try a new computer. anyone else have this issues or a solution?
