Our company is considering turning on the Zoom Pronouns feature so our employees can add pronouns to their zoom meetings and zoom profiles.  Our company uses the zoom chat feature a lot as well, but it doesn't appear the zoom pronoun feature has the option of adding pronouns within the chat functionality.  We are currently using a custom workaround where you edit your zoom name and add the pronouns to the end of your name. If there is a way to add your pronouns to zoom chat, please let me know.

Hi, I now have to use two accounts for different employers - I'm a freelancer. I'm working remotely at present in a different country from where the email address of one of the employers is registered. It's an academic address. When I switched account and came back to that academic account on Zoom, Zoom detected an unusual login and sent a confirmation code to that email address. The only issue is, I can't access it from outside the country of origin due to my employer's outdated, clunky IT security. I don't want to add 2FA or use a VPN and do that every time I switch, which is several times a day. Not least because the VPN can affect connection speeds. Can someone suggest the best solution? Can I1. Add a phone number to have the code sent there?2. Change the email address to my gmail, without losing my licenced account privileges?3. Something else?Thanks for your help.

Why is my paid account suddenly converted as Basic. We just paid last March 12, 2022 good for 1 year subscription.How to fix this?

I try to change password, but it only lets me sign in through google account. Is there a way I can change the zoom password without this trouble?  

Hello, I am Taito. I have a licensed zoom account. And every Saturday, I teach Japanese School. The following month, I have a substitute teacher taking over for one week of the class. I seem to not figure the password and it only lets me link to my google account. I try to change password, but it only lets me sign in through google account. Is there a way I can change the zoom password without this trouble?

Hi guys, there seems to be a problem in which every time someone sends me a photo or a picture it just appears on my screen as a gray triangle with an exclamation mark in the middle, and there is no way for me to see it or download it.Can someone please help? 🙂

I spend most of my day with my nose buried in my work.We have outlook and zoom and I am constantly missing private zoom chats. how can automatically send a private chat to my e-mail ?

i am able to send pvt chats to people but for some reason i do not receive them back. It is when i am connected to my house wifi. if i use my phone as a hotspot, it being connected to the wifi, it will usually work. Once in  awhile it still won't let me receive any. Its frustrating because people think i'm ignoring them when i'm not. Is it something in a firewall somewhere? Please help!

I keep getting dropped from the Zoom meeting that I am running. My internet service is adequate, I've checked it with my provider and had several conversations with their technicians. During the time I was dropped from Zoom my internet provider showed no interruption in service from their end. Why is this happening? I only recently upgraded my service and it is horrible. If I uninstall zoom and re-install the program, as suggested by someone from Zoom, how easy is it to reinstall? 

Good day all, Can someone advise how we can configure Zoom Chat not to become the default IM.   We force HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\IM Providers\DefaultIMApp to another app, but on a restart this is changed back to Zoom Chat.  Currently we deploy the Outlook plug-in and the VDI client, are these related to this? Many thanks,D

Logging In- I get an error message that my account is locked, email wrong and or password wrong.  Email is correct, password is correct.  How do I unlock my account? 

I had a recording that I did from a lecture that would only get to 99% conversion and when I tried to convert it manually it would never pull up.  What can I do to get that recording or is it lost?

an  upgrade is 50% complete and will not respond to anything I do to either delete it or have it complete

Hello guys,We are having a problem in my company where some people that just got new laptops aren't able to use the mic and camera on the app, it works in everything else, it works even on zoom in the browser,  but it just doesn't on the app, any solutions ? There was another discussion that I saw recently where the solution was to upgrade to windows 11 (which we don't want to do that for now). Best Regards

I upgraded to Zoom 5.10.3 and my Chat icon is now gone. I've read a bunch of posts about people having the same problem but no answers for it work. My settings are all fine according to threads advising about this. I can still chat if I click MORE and choose Chat but the icon has completely vanished. (It's usually between Stop Vid and Participants I think.) No probs with Chat icon pre-update to 5.10.3. I use Zoom for work and Chat's a big function. Does anyone have a simple solution for this? Thanks so much!

I have a local recording, and I can see the one I need, but when I click on it, I get a message that says I have to login with the same account to listen to recording.  I am in the same account and I have to get access, please help!

Hi All, Has anyone else run into the issue of the chat feature being unavailable to attendees during a Zoom webinar? We typically start the practice session and select the "chat" view, but this time that wasn't done in advance of starting the webinar, but I feel like that wouldn't/shouldn't affect anything. All of our settings are the same as previous webinars, so I'm unsure what happened. Attendees were able to "raise their hands" and we could unmute them, but they could not chat. Is this a glitch that Zoom had, or has anyone else nixed selecting chat in the practice session/had this as a result? Thanks in advance for your help!
