Is there any features that support a hybrid meeting? Before Covid our group met in a room with round tables with 4-5 persons/table. To hold a hybrid meeting, I was thinking that I can purchase a tablet computer for each table running zoom as would the remote user. The host laptop would then be attached to a data projector or large flat-screen tv and I would position a few video cams around the room. As you all know, that would not work because of the audio feedback. Zoom developers can fix this problem by inventing an "in-person" room group. For example, the the host would assign devices to be part of the "in-person" group. Zoom would treat the audio of all the devices in the group as a single device. ie. Just as the sound picked up by an individual device does not play back the sound through its own speaker, Zoom would not play back any sound, originating in the "in-person" group, back to any other device in the group. I am trying to get Teams and Zoom to both work on a RealPresence Group 500. I can set up Teams and Teams works fine without any issues. I set up Zoom and Zoom seems to take over the Polycom. Zoom then works but Microsoft Teams does not. Here is our settings when Teams is set up and working but the second that I enable the room in Zoom, it removes these settings and uses the Provision server instead. We use the API connector with our 3 rooms and calendar integration. Any thoughts?
Hi, Wondering if anyone has experienced this, we have 5 zoom rooms and came in yesterday morning to all of them saying connection timeout. We have done a ton of troubleshooting and have even deleted and re added. We even connected them to a hotspot to make sure it wasnt anything on our network causing this and the same issue. Any help would be great.
Hi, We have licensed four Zoom rooms and would like each room to serve as its own Host, apart from the scheduler's Zoom account. We were told by a Zoom technician that each Zoom Room, if integrated to a Google calendar, could serve as its own host apart from the scheduler's account. As proof, he noted how the Google Calendar email is shown on the Zoom Room Controller as the host instead of the scheduler's account email. When we try to use more than one Zoom Room, however, we get a message saying the host is in another meeting. Again, the meetings for each Zoom Room are scheduled using different Google calendar emails integrated to each specific Zoom room. Everything else works fine. We just can't have two meetings at the same time, though we have four Zoom rooms with each integrated to a different Google Calendar email. Essentially, we have four Zoom Rooms, integrated to four different Google calendars, but get a message "the host is in another meeting" whenever w
Being on an Android device during a Zoom meeting yesterday, I had to dial in on one of their long-distance phone numbers in order to hear and speak then when I was assigned to a breakout room I couldn't hear nothing from any of the participants except just watching mouths moving. But the whole entire time while I was in the assigned breakout room I could hear others from the main room still. The main room was overriding the room that I was in and on my phone or device. What went wrong?
Is it possible to view multiple screen shares simultaneously?I have multiple people screen sharing with a Zoom Room so the content of their screens can be displayed on a TV for the whole room. They can all share their screen but I have to manually pick which screen to display with the Zoom Room. And I can only show one at a time. What I want is to be able to see all of the shared screens in grid view like you can with people's cameras. I don't know if this is currently possible in Zoom but it would certainly be helpful if there was a way.
Hello Zoom Community!I work for a school and we were having our registration process with multiple breakout rooms opened in Zoom. At one point, we couldn’t send anyone to a breakout room, and we had to end the meeting and open it again. Is there any explanation for this to happen? I would like to know how to fix this problem in the future. Thanks for your help.
We recently Zoom Rooms to one of our east coast offices. Has anyone experienced loss of RDP to the Zoom Room PC?
I'm setting up new Zoom Rooms with our GSuite Room Resource Calendars. I've successfully connected the room calendar to the Zoom Room, but when I do a test meeting (add the room to my meeting, create Zoom meeting) the meeting never appears in my controller. But if I do an instant meeting from the controller itself, the instant meeting syncs with the Calendar. Does anyone have any insight on this issue?
I have two accounts in the Zoom Community. I signed out my first account, but when I tried to sign in my second account, it opens the page to my first account. I tried opening another tab, but it’s the same result. How can I sign in my second account after going in the first?
Hi there, I can see the release note for Zoom Room 5.10.0 was already out and I can't seem to find the download location for this version. Can someone point me the right direction please? Cheers
Hello, I am working on getting the zoom 3rd party conferencing support setup with our zoom rooms. We are a google workspace shop and we are using iPads as zoom room controllers. We'd like to have an outside organization have the ability to add our zoom room as a guest in their Teams/Webex/BlueJeans/etc meeting invitation and for that meeting to show up on our iPad.We have the "Support 3rd party conferencing dial-in for Zoom Rooms" setting enabled in our rooms. We are pulling the resource email from the google admin portal and adding this as a guest in the meeting but we are not seeing the meeting come up in the resource calendar or zoom room.Any ideas on what we could be missing here?References:https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360057044571-Enabling-or-disabling-Microsoft-Teams-Direct-Guest-Joinhttps://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360001163206-Joining-a-third-party-meeting-from-a-Zoom-RoomThanks!
I thought direct gust join supported WebEx and Teams, but now I only see options for Teams. Was this removed, am I imagining it, or am I just not turning up the right support articles?

Hello Everyone, Our company has all of our Windows and iPads configured via ZDM. We have consistently had issues where iPads, Room Schedulers but mainly Controllers, do not reconnect to the Zoom Room. Our Zoom Room PCs have auto login enabled. The issue seems to have gotten worse in the past 6 months where this is happening more frequently after updating the Zoom Controller app on the iOS device. All of our iPads are running iOS 15.2 and they all have ASAM enabled. We have tested removing ASAM with no discernable difference. We also do not have a passcode on the iOS devices. I've reached out to Zoom support and they are usually great but it seems like ZDM is not one of the things that they spend much time supporting. I usually just get an IDK response when asking any ZDM related questions. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I have a pro account and have been using scheduled meetings for remote video acquisition. I schedule a meeting in advance and share the unique link out. With the addition of NDI to Zoom Rooms, I have added this to my plan. What I am struggling with is the lack of ability to advance schedule multiple meetings for the "room" and get the links. I have integrated a gmail calendar, and those meetings show up on the room's controller, but the links only become available when I start the meeting. Any help appreciated.
Is there a best practice for sharing different types of content to zoom rooms (powered by PolyCom X50 with a TC8 controller) using a laptop connected by HDMI cable? We keep running into sharing problems. Here is an example. An instructor might start with a PowerPoint. Then they want to go (thru a different web browser) to a website to show video. Or play audio. When they come back to the PowerPoint, the slide deck on the shared screen is not showing what is on the laptop screen. So far, the only solution has been to exit out of the PowerPoint (vs minimizing), then bring it back up. The process for sharing various media seems very kluge. Beyond simply embedding everything into the PowerPoint, is there a more simple way of going back and forth between media when sharing to the meeting? We had the original impression that we could share the laptop screen to the meeting in Zoom Room more freely!
Is there a way to create an extra breakout room during an active breakout? Sometimes extra people ask for a breakout room once the breakout has started. I can't see an option for that at the moment so have had to wait till that breakout is finished and then setup an extra room.
I had an issue reported to me recently to do with a large meeting, using several breakout rooms. Issue was reported to me after the meeting had ended. The users had a meeting with 40+ attendees, and several breakout rooms setup beforehand. When the meeting started they reported that the breakout rooms vanished, and had to be recreated. No users were in rooms at the time they vanished. Having not been there at the time I didnt get to see it myself. Is there some timeout that breakout rooms have? Has anyone seen issues with pre-configured breakout rooms vanishing?
We have two iPads used up show the Exchange resource calender for each room using Zoom Room Scheduler. When booking directly from the iPad the upcoming meetings update pretty much instantly. When a new meeting is added directly to the calendar from Outlook, the meeting takes an extremely long time to update. You can force an update by dragging down to refresh on the iPad. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a setting to quicken the refresh time? Thanks for any thoughts.
Hi, I have a question about Zoom Rooms Controller pairing with Zoom Rooms. When I log in to my Zoom account on a TV-Hub, and then I use my ipad-Zoom Rooms Controller to pair with it, I can not found any pairing code in Zoom Rooms. How do I pair a Zoom Rooms with logged in account(I can not find paring code)?
Hi 🙂 On our previuos meetings (that were started for the zoomroom account or the zoomrooms account was invited) once every other user left the meeeting, the ZoomRoom continued the meeting by itself. Of cource it kept filming the room and the microphone worked. How can I set a timer so whenever the zoomrooms alone in a meeting it will end it ? Thanks!
I have enabled the Breakout Rooms and it is finally available in my laptop. But why didn't my phone have the feature? Zoom don't support?
Boa tarde, não estamos conseguindo efetuar o pagamento da nossa sala zoom, como devo proceder?
We're an Office 365 shop and have a couple of conference rooms that we've set up as Zoom rooms using Neat bars and the Neat external displays. It's pretty slick! If someone schedules a meeting through Outlook as a Zoom meeting (using the Outlook plugin), and invites our conference room, everything works fine. The meeting shows up on the scheduling display and everything is wonderful. If, however, someone someone schedules a non-Zoom meeting (where we want everyone on site) or books the room for some other reason, the meeting doesn't show up on the external display. This makes the external display somewhat useless. It seems like the calendar integration only goes from Zoom to the Office 365 conference room as opposed to going both directions. My questions are:Is that how it's intended to work, or do I have something misconfigured?Assuming it's working as intended (I hope it's not), is there any way to force the invitation of a conference room thro
