Does anyone know if it is possible to multi-share screen to a Zoom Room and Zoom Companion Room outside of a meeting? Currently we have 2 All-in-One devices in a collaboration space that are NOT physically connected to one another. The first device is a Zoom Room and the other is configured as a Zoom Companion Room. Thanks!
We are trying to enroll our Windows Zoom Workspace clients to ZDM using enrollment tokens. After adding the enrollment token by following the Zoom instructions the client is not added to ZDM. When inspecting the log I see an error ZDMServiceMgr error code 5002 as well as an attempt to reach htts://cn01zdm.zoom.com.cn.I'm located in the US but it appears to try to connect to a zdm enrollement server in China. Anyone get this working and know how a successfull enrollment looks in the log? What enrollment server did you connect to? Or has anyone also had issues enrolling and come across this error? Thank you
I currently have one ZoomRooms license. Is it possible to create two rooms, one for ZoomRooms (shared space) and one as a kiosk?I would like to use ZoomRooms for meetings and one as a virtual receptionist.
Teams direct guest join is a great feature to have within Zoom Rooms but we've encountered a bit of an issue in rooms that have a USB/HDMI capture device. The USB capture is used for local content share via the HDMI cable and for that purpose it works fine. However, Zoom Rooms (and Windows running on the Zoom Rooms PC) sees the USB capture device as a camera. Not a problem in Zoom meetings because we just set the default camera in the Room settings on the controller and the Zoom meeting always uses the actual camera. But when joining a Teams meeting, Teams seems to make its own choice about which camera to use, does not follow the default set in Zoom and has decided to use the USB/HDMI capture as a camera for the meeting and not the room's actual camera. It is also the case that there is no way to change the camera Teams has selected, even when the room is in the waiting room before being admitted to the Teams meeting, the settings cog doesn't do anything and you
Hello! I'm trying to apply branding settings to sub accounts via Advanced > Branding. After I enter the TXT and CNAME records required by Zoom, the status is "Domain verification failed" due to a misconfigured CNAME. Host isyumari-digital(please feel free to chime in here if you think this isn't a great entry) Value is events-branding.zoom.us. TTL is automatic Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
Hi all,We have recently activated the Zoom Room Check-In feature on a subset of our meeting rooms, and overall I think it works very well. After surveying our end users after a few weeks, the most common complaint is a use case that Zoom have not taken account of. In a scenario where a meeting room is booked with a Zoom Link included, frequently the meeting will not have any remote users (remote users on-site that day, on leave, no requirement to join) - and the meeting will be in-person only (1-1 meeting etc). When this situation occurs, there is no way to check into the meeting. The "check-in" button is not available on the controller tablet/device, as the room assumes that the Zoom Call will be joined. If the in-house meeting does not have any need for a screen share, the room will not be checked in. This is causing frustration to our users as this scenario occurs quite often. So the only way to check into that meeting, is to join the call and end the call.I
Hi I can't join any Zooms using Zoom Workspace because it keeps saying that I need to update the app to version 5.16.6 or higher. I'm pretty sure I've downloaded the latest version and I don't know how to update to another version. I tried attaching screenshots but can't seem to do that. Thanks,Micaela
Hello,I'm working on setting up a hybrid room for a new client, but I don't have a Zoom Rooms account myself to test this out on.My plan is to set up a Mac Mini that is powering the Zoom Room, connected to two TVs. My question is, can that same computer be used for a presenter to share a PowerPoint if needed? Or would that need to come from a separate machine?Sorry if this is a simple question, I tried googling and searching the forum but it's kind of difficult to search for.Thank you!
I want to create a workspace type and name from the Add Workspace screen and press the Finish button, but it's grayed out and I can't press it. If anyone knows how to solve this, please let me know.
We have a Zoom Room that won't join meetings because the Logitech Tap scheduler linked to the room fails to update from the Zoom Room Portal. Has anyone had this issue previously?
Can I share content from the built-in HDMI port on a Poly Studio X70? If I was using the Poly software and not the Zoom software, it would be possible.
If have an image for digital signage that I periodically update with the same filename and host on (for example) Google Drive, how often (if ever) would the room display update what is being displayed?
My 36-year-old son has Cerebral Palsy and cannot type. Is there an option in the Zoom chat window on his Apple iPad that will allow Speech to Text? Thanks, Mike
I can't find any way to retrieve the meeting ID of meetings scheduled through Zoom Room Google Calendar Integration without having to go to the room controller to send an invitation to an email address.Users successfully book the Zoom Room calendar resource but does not receive any notification of the meeting ID generated for the booking. Is there any way to retrieve the meeting ID remotely, without having to access the controller?
We are running the Zoom Rooms software off of a Dell OptiPlex 7090 using a Shure P300 to process audio for the room. Is there a way we can control the audio coming from the Digital Signage library when videos are playing over the system? I know we can mute/unmute the audio from the Digital Signage, but the audio coming from the Digital Signage is too high and we'd like to be able to turn down the volume in a similar fashion to the volume control in Zoom Meetings.
Hi, I recently added a bluetooth mic/speaker to our zoom room, and it works just fine. However, the room is telling me it is not available, the issue being:"Standalone Bluetooth microphone may cause poor audio quality. Non-Bluetooth microphone is recommended, but integreated Bluetooth speaker can be used" That said, i can launch a meeting just fine from the controller, and everything works after that. How can i clear this error message so it doesn't scare our users off? Thanks in advance
Model:G7500Hardware Version: 7Software Version: 4.3.0-406188 Zoom RoomsCurrent Version:6.1.2.5202 all of a sudden one of my rooms has "this room is not available" message on the screen. It can make calls just fine but it's freaking out my users anyway, I can get rid of this message on this system?
Our institution is new to Zoom Rooms, and we were wondering if there's a way to restrict which users can/cannot reserve the room when scheduling.
I set up a meeting for someone with thier Zoom room link that has always worked fine. This particular meeting it said "waiting for the host to start the meeting" although he is the host using his own link. Aside from him potentially being under a different 'user' or email, what could make this happen all of a sudden? He has a waiting room enabled and that has not caused this before. Trying to trouble shoot to now how to fix this!
Good day, We use Wolfvision Cynaps in our classrooms. The systems leverage the Zoom Web App (Web RTC) to connect to Zoom. It has worked fine for the last 2 years (for the most part). Today, I noticed that the "Share Screen" option is gone. Not Good. I tried using the web-client on my desktop computer as well and saw the same thing. I think this is a global issue. Anyone else seeing this? Regards.
Starting yesterday, in every room of mine where the room PC has multiple Ethernet interfaces, the room controller iPad can no longer connect to the room PC.My room PCs mostly have two network interfaces. One standard network with internet access and one local room network to control any display, projectors, etc. The room controller iPads are on the standard network. On the local network the room PC's IP address is 192.168.1.1. It appears as if the Zoom controllers (iPads) are trying to connect to the wrong IP (192.168.1.1) and failing. Is anyone else seeing this? I've opened a ticket, but the only suggestion was to reboot the iPad.
It says "Up to 10 room controllers" in the Zoom Rooms productBut I've been using it for so long, now I want to buy it back for my schoolIf I have 4 locations in 4 different districts, I want to use zoom room to install to Desktop PC for each locationSo I only need to buy 1 Zoom Rooms license and 1 Zoom Pro license (Because I have to buy it before buying Zoom Room), right?
Hi All, AV Integrator but installed a Logitech Zoom TAP NUC PC runs Zoom Natively When the client runs a meeting in Zoom, all is fine (same for Google Meets)When doing a Teams call via Zoom NUC (so joining a Teams call from the Logitech TAP), the Ceiling Mic Audio doesn't pass through (so teh far end can't hear anything) I have tested Mic to DSP (metering and can hear it), DSP to NUC (via USB, working) Is there a setting within Zoom admin portal that our global client needs to change? DSP - Core Nano Ceiling Mic - Shure MXA910UC - Logitech TAP IP with Intel NUC AVoverIP - QSYS NV Series Thanks!
Good morning. I have several ZOOM ROOMS that show me this error about the speaker. They are rooms with different computers and different speakers. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
Hello everyone! My team and I have customized the waiting room for our users. But users only see a customized waiting room on computers and mobile phones, and there is no Zoom room on devices. It would be great if the waiting room for these devices could also be customized.
