We have zoom rooms at two campuses.   An instructor has set up their zoom meeting and scheduled it so it will automatically start.   The zoom meeting does put participants into a waiting room.   The meeting is between two zoom rooms on both campuses, and occassional students who need to connect from home.    The instructor has been in a position on several occassions where the remote non-instructor zoom room site will be required to admit the instructor and the participants in the room with them and their site.     Both campuses are set to permit the  zoom rooms to co-host meetings.    this is the one instance where the instructor is instructing from Site B to Site A, rather than vice versa, and that is immediately after a class teaching from Site A to a different zoom room at Site B.

I have reset this function in all hierarchy levels (floor, building, city and country), it means the account setting should affect all rooms.In some rooms this function is not active and cannot be changed.  

Hi. I'm trying to help out with getting a display up on our TV using the Zoom app but nothing is appearing when we open the Zoom Rooms program on Windows and connect using the Zoom Controller app.On the Zoom portal we have created a room and linked content that we want to display to that room. However, when we enter the pairing code on the controller app the TV just shows the Zoom start page.Is there another code that we need to enter to link the content setup on the portal with the Zoom Rooms program running on our TV?

Is this a feature? Can I add music to the lobby of this zoom event? It's quite boring otherwise.

We are having an issue in the Zoom meeting rooms where the ‘raised hand’ feature stays showing on the screen in the meeting room after it has been ‘lowered’.On individual’s laptop screens the ‘raised hand’ would not be showing.We were able to replicate the issue.Also there is a warning message on top of every meeting window about the time left but that shows 1092:00 and it doesn’t count down.Any suggestions?Thanks

We have the following problem: when a person lowers the virtual hand, in zoom rooms it automatically raises the hand of another person. This person has not really raised his hand.This erroneous display of raised hands is only seen in zoom rooms. If another person is following the meeting from a Zoom Desktop he sees the correct status of the raised hands.It looks like it's a bug. Anyone else has happened?The problem can be replicated as many times as you want.

So we finally got our Zoom rooms to be able to work with Teams meeting invites.  But in one specific room, the camera zooms all the way out as soon as the Teams meeting is started by the external attendee who sent the invite.  While we are waiting to get into the meeting, it shows the camera, mute, and custom controls options on the teams windows on the screen, but on the polycom controller, there are no options to make any adjustments, its just a white screen saying waiting for meeting to start (or something like that).   Question is, how can i set the default zoom level for the camera for 3rd party teams meetings in a zoom room?  OR if that cannot be done, is there anyway to get a mouse connected through the polycom controller so we can try and select the "custom controls" option while waiting for the meeting to start?

I'm making this post purely out of curiosity and to discuss this wonderful Zoom feature.  For those currently using Zoom Workspaces, how are you going about creating floormaps?  Are you just using an existing blueprint of your building, or did you have some kind of artwork done? For my part, I took my building's 2D blueprint and went around taking pictures of everything throughout the building, and then used Blender to make a 3D representation of the building:  Just to fire off some more discussion questions: I'm also curious how people are listing things like amenities.  For instance, did anyone included something like a legend on their floormap that indicates which amenities are available in which rooms.  On my floormaps, I just used basic symbols placed over the 3D map to indicate exits, kitchens, stairs, water coolers, etc. And how do you have everything set up?  Did you do kiosks like DTEN Me's in a lobby to let people select works

If I have a person being deposed in our Zoom Room, I would like their name to appear in the meeting as "Jane Smith", not "Law Firm Small Conference Room." I am not the host. I have the Neat Bar with Neat Pads and Zoom Room licenses. Is there any way to accomplish this on-the-fly, or do I need to go into the Zoom account and rename the room?

Hi, We are using a Logitech Rally Bar with Zoom Room application in Appliance Mode. We then have a Samsung Andoid tablet which hosts the Zoom Room Controller app. Yesterday the app ran an Auto Update. Since then the app hangs at 'Requesting Zoom Rooms Information'.  I have tried uninstalling and re-installing app, and have power cycled all devices and network. Is this an issue with the new app...?

Is this possible? How about a remote controller not in the same room? As support, it would be nice to be able to control the room without being physically present. Thanks.

Hi, 1- I cannot record my (via the calendar) booked meeting  with the room controller.The room is licensed, even my user is licensed (we have a lot of basic users and they should be able to record) Instant meetings (via controller) and booked meetings via scheduler can be recorded with controller.2- The recording requires an email address (to send the link) and accepts any email. We need to limit it to our organization's emails.

Can i use the AC-360-Z V2 with just zoom pro on my mac?

We have a Zoom room setup where we have a 2nd computer used for presentations connected to Zoom PC via HDMI and a Magewell USB converter.   We're looking to have anything shared from this room directly always set to optimize video.  We can't seem to find any setting to do this, has anyone found a way to make this happen?  I'm only looking to have this setting trigger on anything shared from the room itself.  We have a presentation that we share out that has a slide with an embedded video.  Every few Zoom room updates the video gets jumpy if the optimize setting isn't turned on.  After a few version updates we'll find that it goes back to normal and we no longer need the setting on.  It would be great if this could stay consistent, but for now we're looking for a way to always have the video optimized without having to hit the very small settings icon and optimize slider.

We are looking to have dashboard for our NOC team showing the status health for the Zoom Rooms, while we try to filter View in location dialog to sub location (building) the dashboard keep showing all devices assigned on root owner

We are using list zoom room api's  https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/api-reference/zoom-api/methods#operation/dashboardZoomRooms . In response of this api, we have field "location".This field is not coming in response instead location_id is coming. Wanted to know if zoom document needs to be updated ?orZoom api's still send location field and right now not getting location field is a bug in zoom api ? 

Hi, I am configuring a Poly X30 for our CEO. His calendar is not a room resource, the way the calendars for our conference rooms are. What is the best approach to allow him to use the X30 with his Zoom Account and/or calendar? Thanks

Hi, I am trying to upgrade the Zoom Rooms app on my Poly X series devices. Some of them upgraded to the latest Zoom Room. version 5.11.0 (1553), without issue. However, when I try upgrade some others, the Zoom portal says "Your app is up to date.  You are on latest version 5.10.6 (1375)".  All of the devices are running Poly OS 3.12.0-366027. How to I get these devices to upgrade to Zoom Rooms 5.11.0? Thanks

I wanted to pair Zoom app in iPad with Zoom Room like how it is in Android app. Pairing/Controlling Zoom Rooms from mobile app – Zoom Support Pairing with the Zoom Room Open the Zoom mobile app and sign in to your account. On the Meet & Chat tab, locate and tap the Zoom Room pairing icon   , found in the top-left corner of the screen.

We have just purchased Neat-frame devices to use for zoom rooms. I have created a zoom room in room  management  under Admin in web portal and configured the sameHowever, after successfully pairing the device, when trying to login with the created zoom room, the message always come up stating "You need to configure it in your Web account before you can use it"Although it has been configure correctly and exactly as pre-existing zoom rooms.Can someone please share, any similar hurdle experienced  whilst configuring the Neat-Frame device.

Problem: far end participants experience audio drop outs and extreme gating of near end/conference room microphone.Configuration: Shure MXA910 > Dante > QSC Q-Sys Core 8 Flex > USB > brand new Dell OptiPlex5090 running Zoom Rooms 5.11.3 on Windows 10.   At first, we turned off all sound processing from Zoom Rooms to let the Core handle AEC.  The issue was first noticed.Then we bypassed all processing in Core and turned it into an expensive Dante-to-USB converter and turned on Zoom processing: same results.Turned off processing on both ends: same resultsBypassed Core altogether and used an Audinate Dante-to-USB converter with Zoom Rooms processing turned on: better results but still not acceptable.  Turned off Zoom Rooms processing, no change. We have multiple rooms with the same issue.  We've also tried downgrading Zoom Rooms versions down to 5.11 and 5.10 but no change.   When using the same Shure mic and Core plugged into

We are trying to use Zoom Room as a sort of recording studio, but the recording quality is not good enough even though we enabled HD and support for 3rd party editing. Is there any way you could capture the signal between the monitors and the PC and record it to a hardrive or even better a NAS or something similar?

Hi, I am curious if anyone else is experiencing this issue. I'm updating all my iPad controllers from 15.6 to 15.6.1 due to the recent security update from Apple. All of my iPads are enrolled in ZDM. In device management, the option to update is there, but gets stuck on "upgrading" or "installing ". Because of this, I've had to manually update all the iPads myself, but even after they are on 15.6.1, device management does still not show that they are on that version.

We're using Zoom Rooms with a Mac mini controller, Neat pad tablet, HDMI display and MXL AC-360-Z V2 microphones.  The audio is frequently scratchy and distorted from the microphones.  Users within the room can hear audio from remote participants, video quality is excellent, just the microphone is giving us inconsistent results. We have another room with a Shure mic that works well.  The acoustics in this room weren't good for the Shure so we're trying the MXL.  Has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix?  It's frustrating that out of the 3 microphones we've tried to date, only one has worked at all with the Zoom app.  (The first one was a Bluetooth speakerphone that also gave us distorted audio.)
