Hello,  I am new to using the JSON files in Zoom rooms and am trying to see how easily it would be to control a networked HDMI switcher, in this case Crestron because I have one available.  I understand setting the adapter to generic and the IP address accordingly, but looking past that on what to do after wards.  any help would be great.  thanks! -Zach

In every other app there is video and audio. But when I try to uze ZOOM, there is only black screen and sound doesn't work. I tried everything. If you know what to do, help me please.

Our instructors want to use their personal accounts and meetings they schedule with their personal accounts in classrooms with Zoom Rooms. What is the best way to do this? The instructors already have meetings scheduled and students invited to class lectures with their personal accounts but now only Zoom Rooms can access the speakers, cameras, and microphones in the classrooms.

I have followed all the steps from zoom and closed caption never comes on in any meeting.  How is this resolved?  Should this be one of the easiest things to enable in 2023???

I am setting up zoom workspaces for my organization. I have no idea what I'm doing or how to do it but I managed to set it up and I've added only one user. When the user opens the workspace reservation app, the desks are all greyed out and unavailable. How do I make them available? Or is there training material for this system?

I am trying to set up our zoom room controllers to use ASAM. In testing before I deploy this to all our controllers, when an iPad loses connection it goes to a help screen and has a place to exit ASAM by putting in my zoom rooms password. That's all well and good, but when I enter my password it just says it is unable to to exit ASAM and to check if my iPad is using guided access or an MDM. We use an MDM, but the MDM isn't locking the app. The only thing locking the app is toggling ASAM in the zoom rooms admin. If I have to toggle it off there, why have the exit ASAM button at all? the ASAM article only has this: TroubleshootingIf you experience network issues, the Zoom Rooms app allows you to leave ASAM (protected by passwords) to fix the network issues. So no help basically, other than to confirm that my password should let me exit ASAM without turning it off for the whole room. I have confirmed that my password works when changing settings in the app, as well as confirming

I am trying to add a cohost to a series of recurring meetings as I may not able available to host for all of them. I have tried to follow the instructions on the web with no success - can you help?.

Hello, We have around 30 Zoom Rooms that when in a meeting all popup the Zoom taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Is there a way to shut this off? We have touch panels for the controls and none of our displays are touch enabled.

In Room 2 will be the client watching the discussion in Room 1. In addition, they may want to send me questions to ask the group. How do I do this? Thank you 

We have a Zoom Room system with the Logitech Zoom Room base kit. We often have the problem that a MacBook does not give any output to the screen(s). I've heard that this is due to the HDCP encryption that some MacBooks send with their HDMI signal, in order to prevent copying of the output (?). Does anyone know a way to remove that encryption, or some other workaround? I would be happy to read your suggestions. Hello !The Windows Store version of ZRC Zoom Room Controller is very oooold.It does not offer features like controlling NDI out and such.However having a ZRC on a PC does make life MUCH easier in a control room or similar large room setup.So pls, bring the Windows store version up to date OR offer it as a sep. download. Thanks for your consideration.Greetings from Vienna, Austria.HST

For many reasons we need to assign a co host before a meetings starts even when doing a schedule. Can this be added.

We have our room controller iPads configured using Meraki MDM and kept the controller app open using the MDM-level single app mode. The downside to this is that the app cannot update until the app lock is disabled and the app itself is closed, and we want to automate this as much as possible. I have found and enabled the following settings in Zoom Admin:Room Management > Zoom Rooms > Account SettingsAutonomous Single App Mode I also made a test profile in MDM that allows ASAM to function, and confirmed that it does work after making sure the MDM lock is inactiveAllow to update the apps directly from the roomDevice Management > Device List > Account SettingsAutomatically update app - Zoom RoomsLast night I received a notification that one of the test profile iPads had rebooted, but when I checked it this morning the app version had not updated. Is there a setting I'm missing? Do the iPads need to be enrolled in ZDM for automatic updates/restarts to run, and if so is ZDM

Hello, does anyone know of a way to reorganize Zoom video participants into various spots on the Zoom meeting, and do we have the ability to resize their video feeds?    I'd like to have a background of a Star Fleet bridge, and arrainge the participants into their crew stations in the meetings and resize their video to fit that position..  Might be cool.

We have just deployed a meeting with blind control using a Global Cache IP2CC - added the JSON room profile to provide 'Blinds Up/Blinds Down' room controls, following the example for specifiying the IP2CC as the adapter. The JSON profile produces 'ON' & 'OFF' controls for blinds up and blinds down respectively, however the OFF button produces the contact closure while the ON button stops the blinds.Is there any way I can reverse the ON/OFF buttons.David Connolly, University of Technology Sydney

I am setting up multiple Zoom rooms as a Teams calendar resource using Direct Guest Join.  I may be overlooking this, but is there a way for a room to join the meeting without sitting in the waiting room first?

Android & Laptop) at the same time to have one use or make the camera at a distance while simultaneously using the second device in the same video call to have an easier time reading and using the chat room like right next to me or in my hand.

Hi, I am working for a company requires to create an App for Zoom Room Controller. It's simple: Create An Oauth App, Add app to Zoom Room Controller, Done. And I followed these steps https://marketplace.zoom.us/docs/zoom-apps/guides/enabling-za-for-zrc/  Basically here it is:Log into Zoom Marketplace as an account administrator.Add the app to your account.Navigate to Room Management > Zoom Rooms.Select the locations to which you want to add the app, and select Settings > Zoom Room Controllers > Add Content.Under Add Content, click the Apps tab, and then select the app you want to add to the screen.Configure the content on the app's website, and save. At step 4, I Couldn't find the "Settings" button to click. Also I looked around and couldn't find the "Zoom Room Controller > Add Content" anywhere ? Can anyone at zoom explain or give a clearer instruction to go through? Thanks. 

I have a large Zoom Room with three displays.Display 1 is a touch screen at the instructor's podium.Display 2 is a projector for content.Display 3 is for seeing the gallery or active speaker.It works great for almost everything.When I start a whiteboard, it is only shown on the podium display and to participants. I can't figure out how to get it to show on Display 2. This means that no one in the room can see the whiteboard which makes it useless. There is no Content Only option under View.How do I get this to work?

I've searched and searched to no avail. I have an old account upgrading to Zoom One this weekend, but instead I want to merge it into an enterprise account that I've gotten an invite to merge into. However, Zoom will not merge the account because it created a Zoom Rooms user that I cannot figure out how to delete. (I have no Zoom Rooms nor Zoom Room Devices create)What can I do aside from waiting on a support ticket in order to get this user removed (without also losing my existing cloud recordings or getting charged overage fees)

Hi all.  We are using a Zoom Room in our board room.Ideally we would like it to behave like so:A user creates a meeting in Google calendarThey add the board room's corresponding google calendar resource as the location of the meetingBy virtue of being invited to the meeting, the zoom room  generates a Meeting linkThe zoom room is automatically host (or co-host), so that the meeting can always start when the board room is present, and meetings can be recorded.Is it possible to configure the zoom room as outlined here? In particular can zoom rooms auto-generate meetings when included as a google calendar resource?Thanks in advance.
