Hi, I am trying to figure out when the Yealink CP960 is reaching end of Support? Below are two articles with conflicting information. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This article says February 2025 &This article says February 2024
Hello everyone,We want to get more responses to polls. The Zoom documentation explains how to run and start the pool from a room, but it is not clear how participants can respond to polls from within the room. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks.
I am doing some testing to see how often zoom sends out email alerts on an offline room.Seems like it will only send out one alert after about 7-8 mins. Does zoom send out repeated alerts for an offline room until it becomes online again? And if so, how often do the email alerts get sent out? From the initial testing, I only received one alert so far. I need the email alerts to be sent on some sort of regular interval.
I would like all my zoom rooms to be able to automatically control the cameras in other zoom rooms within my "Building" or at least my company. If I enable "Automatically accept far end camera control" it seems like any person joining a meeting could mess with the cameras.
I've setup a Zoom Room and followed the tutorials on how to integrate a Google Calendar into it, however I'm hit a couple of issues. 1. The way the tutorials show how to book a meeting using the calendar doesn't work for me. The tutorial shows a Rooms tab, I don't see this. I also don't see the "Make it a zoom meeting" button either. Are browser plugins needed? If so which? I've figured a work around, which is to invite the room itself in as a Guest. But am just wondering if I'm doing something wrong.2. When I add an appointment times are always wrong, they appear to always be 5 hours ahead. I've checked the timezones on the calendar, zoom, the ipad controller, the pcs. All are correct, so not to sure what could be causing this issue. Any advice would be appreciated.
We have several rooms at our org, however one does not get the option to join a Zoom meeting from the controller. It lists the meeting just fine, and can create its own, but there is no join option when it has been sent an invite. If I launch the meeting from my PC, I can invite the room again and it will work. If I launch an instant meeting from the controller, it will work. I'm stumped, any thoughts?
Hi,I have a 55sqm conference room, more or less 10m long by 5m wide. We seat 30-40 people in the room. I have a main table with 3-4 speakers at the end of the room (with screen and speakers to the side) and the rest of attenddees seated in the room, oposite the main table (scholroom layout on same level). I have audio issues and would like recommendations for the microphone system we can use to improve the quality of our meetings.Recomendations welcomed!!Joni B.
Hello! I have a problem with the audio connection during the conference, for some reason the sound is lost during the screen demonstration in the browser, I can't hear the interlocutor and I can't hear myself. Please, how can I fix it? I have 2 GB of RAM on a 64-bit processor, maybe because of this. I need to optimize the sound during screen sharing.
We followed these excruciating steps in the Zoom KB article and were able to get the Dedicated 365 service account added to the Calendar Integration in the Zoom Rooms (zoom.us web UI). However, this solution doesn't work. There are no instructions on how to get the Room resources (created via the same KB article) added as Calendars to the Zoom Room. We tried it both App-level and Full Delegate method. We just get: Office365 0 total , 0 assigned Jan 12, 2024Jan 12, 2024 09:16 PM ReauthorizeSync CalendarsDelete in the Calendar Integration list. Also, when trying to +Add A Calendar in the Zoom Room page, it lists the dedicated account calendar but there is no option in the "select a service recource" box. I am guessing we are supposed to see the Room Recource the KB had us add. Zoom Service is a joke, 3 days and no response. We pay $700 year for Zoom services and get zero support. This forum had very little by way of troubleshooting and/or verifying this a
Purpose of this post:Provide steps on how I was able to have a Zoom Room add its meeting details (URL, ID, passcode, etc.) to a calendar invite as either the sender or recipient. This post assumes you have already synced calendars from zoom to Microsoft and properly setup the Zoom Room in M365. When I setup my Zoom Room, I wanted staff to be able to book the room through Microsoft Outlook with the following conditions happening automatically: - Zoom Room would automatically start with out user intervention- Zoom Room's meeting URL Meeting ID, Passcode, and dial-in numbers would be sent to guests in the calendar invite. Why would any of your staff know what this was if it was sent out automatically?- The Zoom Room would auto accept meetings (done in m365 resource room setup) The problem I faced was the Zoom Room would delete the details of all calendar invites when it auto accepted meeting room invites. Not sure if this is a default setting in M365 business or anothe

Has anyone seen an issue where a brand-new Zoom Rooms system will not properly feed video to connected displays? Zoom Rooms is running on a preconfiged Lenovo PC and has two 85 in displays attached. When logging into the ZoomRoomsAdmin account the displays work as expected. When logging into the ZoomRooms account and having Zoom Rooms app run the 85 in displays sometimes show the Zoom app screen but it freezes and will not display any system changes. The clock at the top of the screen does not advance and no meeting or content video is displayed. Occasionally the displays will freeze showing a blue background with the word Connecting.
This is weirdly only affecting some of our Zoom Rooms, not all. I try to launch the controller of a room from the admin portal, but get hit with the attached "Cannot connect to Zoom Rooms" screen. Any ideas on why this may be the case?
Hi Team Can the default interval of 30 minutes for Zoom proactive Alerts can be further reduced to let's say 5 minutes ? Configuring alerts and notifications for Zoom Meetings and Webinars - Zoom Support RegardsDishan
Hello,How can I add my external clients Zoom Rooms to my Contacts, so I can more easily give them access to meetings I start in my Zoom Room? Thanks.Ron
Dear Team, We purchased the ZOOM ROOM licenses long back in my account and still my account is showing basic.
Having issues with Zoom Rooms on a newly installed Dell Optiplex. We never reach the main screen, when the application starts we get a blue screen that says "Connecting" and has a spinner to show that it is loading. This spinner freezes shortly after it starts and we are stuck on the "Connecting" screen. We have left this for over 24 hours to see if it's a slow connection issue, but it stays on this. The only thing we can do is CTRL+ALT+DEL to exit out, as any buttons on the screen do not work. We have tried reinstalling (both 64 ad 32 bit versions), changing the DNS on the machine, flushing the dns on the screen, removing all USB devices from the machine, tried over different internet connections but all have the same issue. Attempted to downgrade as well, however the downgrade process doesn't seem to work. Noticed a few posts on here having similar issues, so don't think it's an issue with our setup, but at the same time I can't see any issues on the Zoom sta
I'm looking for how folks have tackled what can't be a unique solution. I have a client in a shared office. They have a single conference room with zoom room set up. Anyone have suggestions for two or three companies sharing a zoom room and seeing a single calendar? 3rd party or native solutions ok, just need to solve this. Thank you!Jim
As I am updating hardware across our Zoom rooms, i am noticing its hit or miss with Crestron devices connecting to ZDM. I can have a site where 8 out of 10 connect, with the remaining 2 not connecting. This after updating firmware and rebooting. I just finished a site with 26 schedulers and non will connect. And the site has a controller that previously connected to ZDM. Crestron really did not have an answer for me.
I am experiencing an issue with the Zoom Room Controller application on my Logitech Tap IP device. The icons for Microsoft Teams Join and Google Meet Join are not appearing on the controller interface. The only icon that is currently visible is for Webex.I have already enabled the necessary configurations in both the account settings and room settings to support interoperability for Zoom Rooms, as per the guidelines provided. Despite this, the issue persists.Zoom room version : 5.16.5 Could you please assist me in resolving this problem? I look forward to your prompt response.
We're setting up a new room where the projector should be turned on or off from the touch panel, but if the device profile uses a public IP (i.e.: not a RFC1918 one) after a few seconds the error "Public IP is forbidden" appears. This does not happen in a similar setup in a different university (same company and hardware). What could be causing this? Our Zoom "super admin" says there are no options allowing or forbidding public IPs for Room Devices. Are there special firewall rules to use (external to internal; we have no restriction on that LAN for outgoing connections)? Thanks for your help. Luca Polo - University of Padua - Italy
Hello, It would be good to have some integration with ServiceNow to allow users to open a ticket directly from the Zoom Room controller. We could have some pre-define fields that users can select to open a ticket + a text field that user can describe the issue. Then, an automation of ServiceNow side can be done via webhook to dispatch ticket to proper team based on item selected by the user.
Hello,It would be nice if it's possible to change the police of the characters displayed on Zoom Rooms. For example, if we want to use a company police with certain color codes. Also, able to allow the police change on scheduling display for room name because we might have room name long enough that it doesn't look good on the scheduling display.Best regards,
Hello everyone,I work at a company that has 12 meeting rooms. Each meeting room has a Windows TV and a Tablet. With the Tablet, I can manage the room and start a new meeting with a button. Every room has a display name. For instance, the name of the first room is "ZION 1". Also, when I start a new meeting from the Tablet, I can see the host. In all the rooms, the host is "ZION x", where x is the number of the room. However, I have encountered a problem with one room. One of the rooms shows the name of my manager and sends an email to my manager, which it should not do.As an admin in the Zoom portal, I need help with this issue. Thanks, and have a good day.
Anyone else seeing this issue/know how to resolve?
