Does Zoom rooms support side by side mode? When our room is in a zoom rooms call as the host and we have an attendee presenting remotely (with presentation), is the side by side mode option available? I cant seem to find it. Thanks any help that can be provided. Maybe I am doing something wrong - or maybe it is not possible? We are using a screen with Zoom rooms built in. Thank you
Please ask if this processor [Intel ® Core ™ Ultra 7 Processor 155H (24M cache, up to 4.80 GHz)] supports Zoom Room's Intelligent Director function
Dear Zoom, I want to connect zoom with polycom system. Did have guide line or videos sample how to connect. Thanks
One of my Zoom Rooms generates a "Low bandwidth network is detected" warning message and email almost every time I start a meeting. I've done a bunch of speed tests and never seen less than 200 MBps up or down and often MUCH higher. While there are two 4k cameras, the Zoom software is running on an i7-10700k PC so there should be plenty of processing power. I've checked network firewall logs and don't see anything getting blocked that shouldn't. I haven't noticed any performance problems, but the messages are annoying. None of my other Zoom rooms do this, but they are single camera. How does Zoom determine that bandwidth is a problem? Are there any diagnostic tools?
See attached file. When in a call, the button to refresh the HTML page and the button to exit Room Controls are dangerously close. If an end user presses the refresh button during a meeting the refresh occurs causing an unacceptable disruption to the meeting experience. Please add a confirmation page allowing the user to back out if the refresh button is hit in error. Better yet add the refresh button to the Zoom portal since it does not appear to have any needed end user interaction. This is preventing the adoption of Crestron controls for Zoom in Micron's environment and preventing Level 3 from providing this capability to our other customers. Please feel free to contact me if additional information is needed.
We plan to fully use Zoom Rooms in the future and are curious if Scheduling Meetings on the Rooms (via the web) would reflect on Workspace Reservations. Our team typically schedules meetings via Admin < User Management < Users < searching for a dedicated account (Zoom Rooms in this case) < Schedule Meeting.I have attempted this in which the meeting does show up in the physical room itself but does not showcase on the reservation page; the map states it's still open and available. On another note, we don't have Integrated Calendars for the rooms. We use the default Zoom Calendar Service that's generated per room, which looks like a mess of characters and numbers ending with our domain name. Do we need to use an Integrated Calendar or is there a way around using what we already have except the meetings reflect via the web and the workspace reservations?
We are using zoom rooms with MS Teams meeting and participants cannot hear us when using the latest version 6.0.6
We have a Zoom Room with a Poly X52 and TC10 controller. Our org uses roaming profiles and we have a PC running through the X52. Anyone can log into the PC and bring their desktop to the PC. When we are not on a Zoom call, we can share the PC content to the room display using the share content button on the TC10. When on a live Zoom video call, the share content button puts the content into the meeting for all participants. There are times when we need to be on a meeting and see content from the PC, but we don't want the PC content shared into the Zoom meeting. There are also other times where having the dual monitor experience with shared content on 1 screen and participants on the other would be nice too. If we ran dual monitors off of the X52, could we see local content from the PC not shared into a live call or does running it through the X52 Zoom Room automatically share content into the video meeting regardless? I ca
Hello, We have multiple Zoom Rooms in place, configured with a Logitech Rally Bar Mini and a Logitech TAP IP.Sometimes our users need to start a MS Teams meeting via this Zoom Room, we have this configured the right way and it used to work great for a while, but now out of no where when users join a MS Teams meeting from the Zoom Rooms the audio is not working and when trying to mute/unmute yourself you receive the error message on the TAP IP that the request to unmute failed.Does anyone here happen to know how to fix this issue?
Hello, We currently have an issue where we are running Teams meetings in the Zoom Rooms. It is mostly working fine, but we have this issue where if a meeting is muted for an amount of time, you are unable to unmute the meeting from the Zoom Room Controller. If you're having a meeting, you can mute and unmute if it is for sure periods of time, but anything longer than a couple of minutes, and we're unable to unmute the meeting. This is be a Teams vs Zoom thing where we are just going to have to live with it?
Hi,I want to know why we have issues launching Microsoft Teams on Zoom Rooms. The Video isn't working correctly and we experienced problems with the connectivity while connecting to meetings. Zoom Rooms is installed on Rally Bar and Tap IP and when we launched Teams Rooms we didn't notice any problems with the network, so we are pretty sure there is a problem with Zoom Application. Let us know what we can do about it. Best Regards
When hosting a Microsoft Teams meeting, where Zoom is the primary provider, I encounter an issue with the camera freezing.Attempting to adjust the camera settings via the TAP IP also freezes. I've ensured that the firmware is up to date and that both the TAP IP and Rallybar are on the same VLAN.Interestingly, I've tested a Teams meeting in another room and encountered the same freezing problem. The Logitech support team mentioned they've received calls regarding this issue, and Zoom support has resolved it for Logitech customers. Unfortunately, they are unaware of the specific setting changes made on the Zoom side.
I manage a lot of Zoom Rooms for my company, and we experience a high volume of alert emails and tickets anytime the PC is restarted or the App updates. Of course, I go to check each alert and the Zoom Room PCs in question are already back up and running, because it was only "out" for a few minutes. I was thinking maybe there should be an option to delay the Zoom alerts. Maybe do not notify unless the Room is offline for more than 15 minutes. This would cut down on needless office visits to check hardware and we could focus on ones that actually do go down.
I have a few Crestron UC-C100-Z conferencing systems that I manage. They are fairly simple setups with a couple of Aver cameras and a Crestron Airmedia setup for screen sharing. For the most part they have done exactly what they were designed to do. Unfortunately, I have one of the units that is exhibiting some issues after power failure. We have our Zoom Room on this unit set up to always use Gallery View. After a power outage, we are finding that it will intermittently switch to Thumbnail view, then back to Gallery. This takes place over a fraction of a second. Changing any of the view settings will cause this behavior to pause for around 10 minutes, then it will come back. Every component of the system has been restarted and there has been no change in this behavior. The last time this happened it seemed to resolve itself after a day or two, but our current issues have persisted for most of a week. This is distracting to those using the system and something I wou
i can successful to make a reservation for hotdesk, and i can setup the hotdesk on workspace and show reserved, but i want to use QR code to check in and get error message " Workspace reservation item is unavailable, please make a new reservation."
After reviewing my recordings, I've noticed my participants (and host) seem to be disappearing when I enter screen share mode. It'll start out with a normal gallery view and then suddenly everyone vanishes. I'm currently using Zoom workplace in the basic version and have tried just about every setting that seems logical.Does anyone know the way to solve this?
Hi I host a Zoom meeting on a MacBook Pro 10.5.2.I am seeking clarification on the following points (taken from Zoom article “Send messages to participants in the Waiting Room”). “1. As the meeting host, click Chat* 2 Click the dropdown next to To: (Name) 3. Click Everyone (in Waiting Room).** 4. Enter and send your chat message to the Waiting Room. Once the message has been sent, the participants in the Waiting Room will see the message on the Waiting Room screen:” Three simple Questions 😄 …..*Is it ONLY THE MEETING HOST(rather than the co-host) that can send a message to participants in the Waiting? Y/N **Does the Host message disappear once those particular participants in the Waiting Room are admitted to the meeting? Y/NAndCan the participants in the Waiting Room respond to the Host message from the Waiting Room? Y/N Thank you very much in advance.
I still have the old version on my PC and it works perfectly. The new zoom workplace is on my laptop and my customers no longer come into the zoom room. They always get the message that I am in another meeting - what can I do?
1) Will Zoom Rooms Device Control (JSON script that can control TVs and other devices) operate on Logitech RoomMate or Rally Bar in appliance mode? We would like to set them up with Tap IP but could alternatively use iPads if it makes a difference. 2) Where do the IP commands to the controlled devices come from?
We've been having problems with our zoom room dell computers. They're running win11 with a kiosk user and uses a Dell 24" touchscreen as the controller. The problem is that every now and then (especially in our more frequently used rooms) the computers crash for no apparent reason. The touchscreen freezes and does not accept input, we can't remotely connect to the computer and we cannot plug in a keyboard to troubleshoot. The computer is dead. Right now our sollution is to physically restart the computer, which is not a viable option at this point. My question is if someone else out there is having the same problem and if you have found any solution?I have a ticket with zoom support but I wanted to see if the community has some information regarding this that I cannot seem to find or have heard of.Thank you!
We have encountered a slightly strange scenario with our Zoom Room's set up whereby, the active speaker window does not show the active speaker in that particular room. Let's say we have a meeting room with 3 participants Meeting Room A, which is configured: To display a thumbnail view when no content is sharedTo display a thumbnail view when content is being sharedMeeting Room B, which is configured: To display a thumbnail view when no content is sharedTo display a thumbnail view when content is being sharedUser C, who is joining the meeting using the laptop and using the latest version of the Zoom client app. All three users are connected to one common meeting, and all users are seeing the meeting in a thumbnail view with the participants at the top of the screen, and a large active speaker window below that. The meeting begins and the presenter in Meeting Room A speaks, and then hands over to Meeting Room B and that speaker then speaks. H
I'm currently trying to deploy digital signage that will display a KPI dashboard through Salesforce. Salesforce requires daily login to the dashboard account. Is it possible to show a URL on Digital Signage that needs to be logged in?
We have a Zoom Rooms system controlled by a Crestron panel. Everything works fine, except when on a zoom call the last person externally who speaks stays on the screen. This is highly irritating…. I know how to change this in the desktop version. You would go to settings and activate “show me as active speaker”. I just cannot find the setting anywhere for the zoom rooms in admin or room control panel. Thanks
Hello,We have just closed off one Zoom Room and we are trying to use the NUC in another room where we had a hardware failure.I am trying to figure out how to reconfigure the NUC to use in a different room. I have gone through all of the education videos, which are great if you are setting up a new room, but not helpful with trying to reconfigure one.Any assistance would be great, thanks.
As in the title - it's self explanatory. We can join only as attendees (as if from panelist-link added to calendar, only webinar ID was added, not hashed panelist ID). Maybe I've missed this in some guide, but for the hell of it I couldn't locate the solution. Regular Zoom client works fine..So what I'm looking for:Zoom Rooms; panelist individual link; joining practice session Background - we've set up a conference room for our guys/gals.Earlier they needed to log on through 2 computers earlier, since they needed-wanted to see other panelists in grid and a presentation that was shared simultaneously (they were bothering us about that). And since they were kinda blind, using single PC connected to both TV displays was bothersome regardless of Windows scaling. IT hands-on help was required every single time. So two PCs (laptops, where they just joined and complied with sticker that said "Windows + Shift + Right Arrow", etc. where Zoom client wouldn't let it automare) provided u
