Hello, We are receiving Inbound calls through Salesforce. Once the call is done, we have a record in the object "Zoom Call Log" created, including a signal status (You can see that in the screenshot enclosed). My question would be here, does anyone know how this is triggered? I mean, how zoom differenciates status end, answered, missed, rejected. Thank you 🙂
I need a template example to get started. Specifically, I want to populate the Auto Provision Server URL field for a batch of new phones. This is for Yealink T5 series phones.
We recently setup Zoom phone for our Corporate HQ in Singapore and we are having issues with Inbound audio on a physical phone will receiving a call from an external Dialer. I am going to summarize and can provide PCAP if helpfulProvider : SingtelConnection Type: Provider Exchange(OTT Private Data Center)Physical Device: Poly Edge e100/220 We have an open support case with Zoom but hoping to have community support to assist with faster resolution. We have checked all firewall port settings required for Zoom phone and validated they are opened as needed. We have swapped to new phones of the same model but having the same issues. We moved the phone number from a Common area account to a user account(logged into a computer) and they have ZERO audio issues. I know I might be missing some helpful details but can fill in the blanks if anyone has thoughts of things to check. Call-OutCall-InType of DeviceType of NetworkCall notificationCall pickupVoiceRema
We have a call queue where we'd like to restrict who is able to call it. It's a technical support escalation queue that we want to restrict to managers having the ability to call it. Zoom support tells me that they have no way to accomplish this. Does anyone have any ideas on how we might do this?
We have our inside sales agents making outbound calls to our opt-in leads from our website and every 3-5 days their numbers are bad and show "Potential Spam" to the caller. Obviously our answer rates go way down. How do we get this fixed?
I use zoom phone and want to set my zoom app to automatically open when I start up my laptop. MS teams is included in start up apps but I cannot add zoom easily.
How do you pick up a coworkers phone call from your desk phone?
I accidently deletd a zoom ID/phone number. How can I restore or retrieve
Good day,We are attempting to reuse a phone number from a departed employee to a new hire. The extension and all is working as expected, when calling as the user the caller ID is displayed correctly on Zoom desktop and mobile, however when it comes to our physical Yealink MP56 devices.. the caller ID still shows the new user. We tried rebooting the phones, signing out, updating app versions, and checking all configs but could not determine where this old caller ID data is cached. As a last resort I decided to factory reset my Yealink MP56. Once up and re-paired with my Zoom account I observed: 1) The caller ID information from previous calls that showed the old user NOW shows the new user.2) Any new call now shows the new user.Does the above help to determine if the issue is a Zoom or Yealink issue? We have multiple physical Yealink Zoom phones in our environment and it would not be feasible to factory reset all phones (and repair each user) when a phone number is reused
Hi. How do I get my caller ID not to show as Spam when I make calls?
We are a company that is moving each of our locations to Zoom phones, location by location. It will be an environment of locations still on the old PBX, and some on Zoom until all stores are migrated. The stores will need to be able to use a speed dial in order to quickly reach each location. Is there a way for a desk phone to be programed for a prefix speed dial? Example, the prefix could be something like *0 - and then whatever 3 digits are dialed next after that *0 speed dial is created would correlate to a number outside of Zoom - so if a user hit the *0 speed dial then dialed 100 it would translate to XXX-XXX-XXXX, if they hit *0 and dialed 101 it would translate to XXX-XXX-XXXY, and so forth. We currently do this on our old platform, but i'm not sure if it's possible to do this with Zoom. If there is a different way to accomplish the same goal for desk phones, let me know.
Enterprise Folks...How often do you update your minimum versions...and do you stay bleeding edge (right up to date with release) or cutting edge (1 version back) or back a few versions? How did you determine your schedule for this?Do you run into any issues with staying current?
Hi everyone, These are few DIDs that we need to port out. The other company is asking for CSR (Customer Service Record) and BTN (Billing Telephone Number)? Do these things exist in Zoom and if yes how can I obtain this info from my Zoom account so I can provide it to the other party?ThanksBoyan
Hey there,I am one of two IT Help Desk agents for our business. We are looking to use zoom phone to create a group of phones to use as Help Desk desk phones. I was looking to see if someone would explain how we can go about setting up 1 number across multiple phones, so that when a call comes into the Help Desk, all the phones ring simultaneously. Can someone shoot me in the right direction of where I would start configuring that in the zoom admin console?
How would i register both ports on a Grandstream HT802 ATA?
Hello! I cannot seem to find out if this Desk Phone is compatible with Zoom Phone:Poly CCX 600 Microsoft Teams Edition: 2200-49780-019 It looks like the OpenSips version is compatible, but if anyone can let me know if the above models is compatible I would appreciate it!
Hi! One of our Zoom Phone users is going on extended leave and wants to set up something like an SMS autoresponder or to have any received texts forwarded to another user. It looks like existing Support articles around this question are only related to call queues, which is not relevant. Does anyone have suggestions or workarounds for getting something like this done? Thanks! Edit: I'm considering assigning the user's number to an AutoReceptionist group during their leave and allowing the coverage-providing user to respond to SMS that way.I assume this will make it harder for the leaving user to track call/text history upon their return when I reassign their number. I'm hoping to lessen the impact by adding their account as a non-responding member of the AutoReceptionist group. Any concerns or issues with this possible workaround?
Can I have assigned users receive texts from our auto receptionists?
I want to assign a number to a company location. When I navigate to Phone System Management > Phone Numbers > Unassigned, I have a list of numbers, and I can assign it to a user, but when I try to assign it to a Company Location, it doesn't show any of my locations. See attachment. I am paying for the DIDs, so I dont believe it's a licensing problem.
Hi Community, I am being frustrated by Zoom pre-sales support. I want to accomplish the configuration in the photo below. I need both existing phone numbers to go to the auto-attendant. I would be willing to set up 3 auto-attendants which could be identical if they could all access the 3 extensions. I need the SMS to be direct from number to extension. BTW, we will never actually publicize the main number. It won't be used, but I guess its necessary. Any comments whether this is all possible? Thanks!!!
Hello,A new member of our staff recently received a new phone number. He is now receiving voicemails, and he has not made any outbound calls. The voicemails are also unrelated to him. What settings should we prioritize to address this issue?
I have a new location we are trying to move from old PBX to Zoom Phone system. I have a number that has not yet ported, how do I make that number the external phone number mask for outbound calling? The only numbers I see are Zoom owned DIDs that we've acquired. We are planning on just doing a CFWD until number is ported over.
The Zoom Assistant would be so useful in saving desktop real estate but one missing capability is making it unusable. There is no Caller id.An incoming call provides the destination number not the caller number. I need to know the number of the caller. I have no way to determine if the incoming call is junk if there is no name ID. Example:Display shows: Cell Phone Call(XXX) XXX-XXXX where the XXX is my number. I already know my number. The Zoom phone app would show the inbound number but assistance does not. That is a problem.
The device is an iphone, what is 6107302, no one on the web can fix it, can someone fix it?
I just signed up for a zoom phone basic package for$15/month. I received an email that my phone number has been activated; however, I tried to make calls to external numbers I got this message from the system "Sorry the requested service is not available in your calling plan". I am not sure how to set it up. I want to use my mobile phone number. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
