I am a solopreneur and I have 2 lines which I purchased. I have 2 licenses which I purchased. I already had the 1 company setup on zoom, and with my second license would like to add the second company. However, I need the second line to display a different outgoing caller ID. Is that possible?? Also for my incoming calls would it be possible to have a prefix added to the caller id so I know which number the client is calling to so I can greet them accordingly such as [company 1] 512-512-5125 or [company 2] 512-512-5125
Will zoom add support for the Yealink AX83H in the future? I need to know whether I should return an erroneously purchased independent wireless handset or to hold on to it because it will be supported in the future. Thank you!
My company purchased Yealink MP54 Team model phones instead of the Zoom model. Is there a way to convert them to be able to be used with Zoom. All I can see is Yealink VP59 model information. Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know how to use Zapier to move Zoom SMS message strings to a CRM? The CRM I use is already linked to Zapier (Wealthbox) and for the moment I am using MyRepChat service to do this, but seems silly if I can just bypass MyRepChat and use a Zap to port SMS messages from Zoom right into my CRM.
We are in the process of switching over to Zoom phone and i would like to keep using our desk phones (Yealink T41S) if possible.I however found out they are not in the list of compatible desk phones. Is there maybe some way to get them to work?
I have a user who wants to make calls from certain area codes depending on who he is calling (he is a Business Development Representative). Can I assign multiple phone numbers to a single user?

Relatively new admin and finding the back end of this confusing, contradictory and overly complicated! I have call recording switched on, I have the voice message disabled - all works fine. As soon as I make someone a Recording Admin, the call is being recorded starts playing. Remove admin, recorded message goes away. Surely this isn't by design? Either way I need to give a user access to other people's recorded calls - what am I doing wrong?
I am currently looking into Fax Cover pages for Online Fax. For example we are a County Government consisting of multiple departments. I can easily create sheets for individual departments to use but they seem to be available to everyone as I add them. This makes it too easy for someone to select the wrong one and use a cover sheet with information not pertaining to their respective department. Can the availability of the cover sheets be limited in some way?
We are business and pay for products that we cannot access. Only human we can reach at Zoom is a sales rep to sell us more product. We port our phone number in, and use the zoom workspace rooms - but escalation contacts and tech support are unresponsive. We are being told by sales to rep to "create a ticket" or "escalate the ticket" and 6 days ago what seemed to be a human offered to schedule a call with us, to which we responded any time - this is urgent. They said without an exact time they cannot schedule it. We have responded to them 3x now with no reply. Help!zoom
Hi there, I have the call recording notification (Phone calls) switched off yet the message is still being played? The below is set to No One... In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.Click the Recording & Transcript tab.Under Notification, scroll down to Recording notifications - Zoom clients.Under Show a disclaimer to participants when a recording starts, choose either All participants or Guest only.(Optional) Click Custom Disclaimer if you want to edit the recording consent disclaimer text.Note: Basic, Pro, Business and Free Trial accounts with less than 100 licenses cannot customize the recording consent disclaimer text.Under Play voice prompt for, choose if you want All participants, Guest only, or No One to hear the audio recording notification.
Our company is new to Zoom and we have over 400 users. When it comes to listening to call recordings, we would like to give each user access to their own recordings and managers access to their team members recordings. At this point we have found that we must manually open each of the 400+ users and add themselves and their manager to have access. That is crazy. Has anyone found a way to do this quicker in the Zoom app, or is there a way to bulk upload that information?
Estimados Pese a que configure la app con grabación automatica esta nunca se grabó y perdí una importante entrevista de tesis. Existe alguna manera de recuperarla considerando que la configuración inicial siempre estuvo determinada por mi
Enduser is a part of call queue and some of the calls are missing in the history., Where as in the logs I can see all the calls , but few are missing in Zoom workplace app history.
This is more of a statement as I've been told by support that this is the way the system is designed. From the desktop app, there should be a way to monitor presence for a common area or a user, regardless if they are logged in via the desktop app or not. For instance, if a user is not logged into the app, but has a desk phone assigned to their user account, the app should still show that user as available if they are not on a call, instead of "offline" - it makes it difficult for sites that have employees that are used to a traditional phone system/dont have the need for the desktop app to still be monitored via presence. We have receptionists that handle incoming calls, and then those calls are transferred to other different users within other departments, but the receptionists aren't able to see their status unless they are logged into the desktop app. Seems like a major issue, as this was a feature on our legacy system we migrated from.
Using Poly E320 Desk phone we found that while making a call the display shows the calling name but then a comma and then the name of the last call completed? scenario1. I dial Caller One, caller one answers, I hang up2. Then I dial Caller Two. On the display it will show "Caller Two, Caller One"
I am currently setting up a zoom phone system to replace a home phone system. I have 8 total handsets (grandstream wp825) and I have them scattered around the house. I had to set up 3 common area with calling licenses and assign 3/3/2 due to device restraints. I have set up the two lines under shared line groups and have added the 3 common areas to each shared line group. I edited the line arrangement to show both line 1 and line 2 on the grandstream handsets. All of the phones ring accordingly when each line is dialed but when the call is answered, none of the phones show line 1 or 2 as active on the handset screen. I am trying to get it set up to where somebody can join a call from another handset. I am trying to make the use as basic as possible to mimic the old dect phone system that’s being replaced. What am I missing?
Our company is using the Zoom Phone CTI integration with Salesforce, and we've encountered a behavior that we'd like to optionally suppress. When an incoming call is received, the Salesforce pane or record view automatically opens (screen pop behavior). Some of our users find this disruptive and would prefer to disable it Is there a supported way to disable or suppress the auto screen pop behavior on inbound calls? Either globally, per user, or through a configuration flag? thanks!
After the last two zoom updates on my iPhone SE, when there are more than six participants their images begin to pulsate. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom and working with Changing various settings which I found advice about on Google, but none of this has helped. Does anyone have any other suggestions, please?
Hello. I can't sign in via mobile app. Please help?
One of my users is reporting that his client is asking for permission to use his location every minute, continuously as long as the app is open. He is using the latest Windows 11 client and has phone configured, but no dedicated number assigned. I have search around and the only two reasons for asking for the location are "Nomadic emergency services" (which is admin disabled at the organization) and "Certain phone settings", but I am struggling to find out what "Certain" means in this instance. I cannot find any settings to change the frequency of checking for location, nor can I replicate the problem myself. It also does not seem to affect MacOS users
I have one line that rings to my phone. I have an assistant who will need to call out from time-to-time, but will not need to use SMS or answer any calls. Should I install the Zoom app on their phone and log in under my account? Or set up an extension for them to use under their own login? I don't want to pay for another user when they will be using the number/app so little. Thanks!
