We want to replace our archaic traditional landlines with VoIP Zoom. Do you recommend zoom over Vonage or others? 8-10 users in a law office.
I received the SMS campaign decline notice, italicized text below. As you can see there's no explanation. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas? I mean, I can't fix it if I don't know what is wrong with it. Your SMS campaign has not been provisioned because of the following reason, Upstream CNP declined sharing request for campaign C8YLDJF. Explanation: C8YLDJF. The rest of the email are the links to Best Practices and other articles.
I have a Zoom Pro account and wanted to take advantage of the free trial Zoom Phone offer I recently got via email to see if this service is for me. I am a one-person consultancy, and need a single DIRECT phone line that doesn’t require a caller entering an extension to reach me. I can’t find anything in your support articles that tells me how to do this. It seems your phone service is totally designed for companies requiring multiple lines with extension numbers to reach anyone. If there’s no way to do what I need (i.e. get my Zoom number to ring directly, without needing an extension), then this service obviously isn’t for me and I’ll need to discontinue the phone as part of my Zoom account. Please advise.
I have created a band with Sole Proprietor entity types this morning and now it shows active. I don't see where to create a new sms campaign. screenshot What should I do? Thanks.
Trying to submit a new SMS campaign and I get ERROR: The length of parameter help message cannot exceed 320 characters.
Zoom Phone users at my organization have repeating meetings every week (e.g., 1:00 - 2:00 p.m., every Monday), and they would like to silence incoming Zoom Phone calls during those times. We use MS Outlook as our organizational standard, and it looks like the MS Office/Zoom plug-in only indicates that the person is in a meeting based on Outlook Calendar.. but does not put the phone on Do Not Disturb. Is there a way to automatically set repeating Do Not Disturb times? Thanks!
It is taking the system 20-21 seconds to answer an incoming call to a Zoom Number. Why is this so long?I want the system to pick it up immediately. Is there a setting I can change to make this happen?
With the new fax feature (very exciting!), I had a question:I see that I can send a fax using a number assigned to a Call Queue, but it seems like I can't receive faxes to a Call Queue number. Is there a way to set up a fax inbox for numbers assigned to a Call Queue, or is fax receiving limited only to individual user numbers for now?
Hi ya'll! We submitted a number port request that was rejected by our current carrier, but is stuck as "pending" in the zoom portal. Ideallly, we could delete that port request and attempt again with different port details, but the delete button is grayed out. Anyone aware of a solution for this issue?
The Cisco 9800 series of desk phones have been out for about a year now but I am not seeing any mention of them on the big cloud VOIP phone providers like Zoom, 8X8, RingCentral, Nextiva, etc. My rep tells me an internal roadmap shows them as possibly being certified in June 2025. We are very seriously contemplating switching to Zoom phone and the hardware is a big element of the switch away from our legacy Avaya on prem PBX. So far, we are very impressed with Zoom Phone. We've been testing the Poly Edge phones and they are nice, but the Cisco 8800 and 9800 series devices seem just a tad higher quality, maybe more substantial, etc.I like the larger buttons. We like the Poly Edge phones, but if given a choice I'd probably pick the Cisco phones after holding both in my hands. I don't want to deploy the 8800 series (they are certified on Zoom) because they are 10 years old and lack certain modern features like Zoom App Call Control (dialing on PC in Zoom app and it dials your desk p
Hi, I was using Zoom to make a phone call, when i realized all of my text messages have disappeared! When i logged into the app on my desktop, they were all there, and when a client texted me, our full conversation popped back up. Is there any way to recover the messages onto my phone? i'm often communicating with clients away from my laptop and need our chat history. Has this happened to anyone else?
Hi Team, We recently signed up for Zoom Phone and used the service for a brief period (1–2 days), during which we also ported in our business number. Unfortunately, our account was permanently suspended due to a reported violation. As a result, we are unable to log into our account or access any information. We submitted an appeal to have our number released or ported out, but the appeal was rejected without any explanation or details provided. This number is extremely important to us as it is actively used for our day-to-day business operations, and the current situation is causing major disruptions. I would appreciate your help. Best Regards,
Hello,We’ve just signed up for the Zoom Business Phone plan and completed the number porting process from Skype. However, when we try to make a call through Zoom, we get the following message:“Sorry, the requested service is not available in your calling plan.”We subscribed to a business phone plan, so we’re not sure why it’s not working.Additionally, during the porting process, an #800 extension was added to our number — we didn’t request this and would like to have it removed.Could you please help us resolve these issues?Thank you!
If I am on a call and another call comes into the queue - we have it set not to ring to me - but it isn't in my list of missed calls so that I can call someone back - the call only shows on someone's phone who wasn't on the phone when the phone rang
Hi! We use Zoom phone and would like some sort of notification of any missed call. Scenario:Client makes an incoming call to our 'call queue' and rings for 30 seconds, but does not leave a voicemail. Currently, we just look at the zoom desktop client at various times during the day but we'd really like to set up a notification. Any ideas, creative or easier?! Thanks Richard
An Auto Receptionist answers the main number for our firm. It forwards to a Call Queue which has two members, the Common Area phones which are answered by the receptionists at our front desk. If both of the receptionists have to be away at the same time (and for a while), one of the Executive Assistants will come down to the front desk to greet visitors and take calls for the main line - meaning they are now away from their own desk phone, not covering their manager's line, etc. We tried enabling Hot Desking on the front desk Common Area phones so an Executive Assistant could sign in and receive calls to their own line (and especially to their manager's line) ...but doing so stopped the front desk phone from being able to receive the main phone number, which is not a workable solution. While we have thought of other ways in which the Executive Assistant could cover their own calls / manager's calls (such as with the Zoom app on their mobile phone, or the Zoom app wh
Hello. When an incoming call comes in, it takes the focus. This is frustrating for our customer support reps as they are in the middle of typing notes and the focus is taken away as they type. Is there a way to have the call still appearing, but not take the front focus?
Hey, we would like to bulk update our phones to have the company number as the outgoing caller ID in line key one but have noticed the csv import/export does not have this feature for all users. This only seems to exist on a per user basis. Anyone managed to achieve this?
Does anyone know if there is a way to answer Zoom phone calls while my computer is locked? I lock my computer by pressing Windows+L and sometimes I get calls while my computer is locked. I usually can't sign in fast enough to answer the call.
Hi, I'm having trouble connecting to meetings from my Samsung smartphone using the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro Bluetooth headphones. When I connect to a meeting, the audio option identifies three options: Bluetooth, Speaker, and Headset. If I select Bluetooth, I can only hear, and no one can hear me even if I activate the microphone. If I use a headset, the microphone works, but I can't hear anyone else. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe I have something configured incorrectly. It is necessary to clarify that I only have this problem with ZOOM, so the proper functioning of the headphones is guaranteed.
Hi everyone, we are a business that is based in Croatia and we work as a contractor to a firm in the UK. Our work requires us to be able to call UK numbers and to have a UK number of our own. Thus far we have used Skype for this without any issues, but it is shutting down now so we switched to Zoom. The issue is that when we try to setup numbers for the UK, we are required to input a UK address and documents proving that this is the address of the business, is there no other way for us to get a UK number and to call UK numbers? This wasn't required on Skype. Could we at least get a Croatian number and call UK numbers without further charges? We have the "Zoom Phone Pro Global Select Unlimited" package. Would we be charged additionally for each call to the UK if we got a Croatian number?
When I am called the ringtone plays through both my speakers and headset. I would much prefer it rings to just my speakers and then allow me to take the call on my headset. This is on windows desktop zoom app. The app is fully up to date. Please advise. Thank you.
When I am dialing a US number from the account, I hear an error message: Sorry, the requested service is not available in your calling plan. Please help. But I have already subscribed and paid for the Phone plan.
