How to record a zoom meeting participant and then play back the video for critique during the same session for a mentorship session
I recently upgraded to a new iMac. During two Zoom meetings with 20-plus members since then, I was unable to use the arrow keys to advance my shared PowerPoint slides. Instead I had to use the ultra-sensitive touch pad atop the Magic Mouse.This problem did not occur the night before last when our guest speaker and I practiced his presentation. Neither does it occur when I practice using my laptop and iPhone as other meeting participants. Curiously, the arrow keys worked for the first couple of slides last night then quit working for the rest of the meeting. I did not have this problem with my old iMac running Catalina. Anyone have a clue as to what could be happening?
HiVersion 5.x of the Outlook plugin installs and updates fine with Outlook open.Version 6.x so far forces Outlook to close on a clean install or update from v5.x Is this the expected behaviour? Are there any new switches to control it? Is it a bug? RegardsBen
Hello,A few days ago, we were able to open the microphones of any members in a meeting.However, one of our partners changed something in the Zoom settings, and now this is no longer possible. We have to ask the members to open their microphones manually.We've tried changing some of the settings, but without success. 😞What do we need to do to restore this option?Regards,
Still learning about meetings. My Bible school has a zoom meeting for those unable to attend physically. I know the meeting number and password. This morning our leader started the meeting. Someone tried to enter the meeting using number and password. They received error msg saying unable to login. This is where the confusion comes in. Is there an admin "password" and a user "password"?
When I click on schedule a meeting a blank white window/block appears obscuring details I need in to insert and I cannot get rid of it any one else have this issue ? my computer is running Linux mint

I have read the message board and there is a theme that does not seem to have a solution. I get disconnected from ZOOM with a message that says Zoom Meetings is not responding. This happens around 30 minutes into the meeting. I have had two 1 hour meetings today and both of them had this problem On weekends it does not seem to be this bad and I know its not my device because during COVID I did not have this issue. I have purchased a plan and would like to get my money worth and I am always getting cut off during a one hour tutoring session with my clients. Honestly its embarrassing for both your company and mine. I have solved this issue by turning off my computer, turning it back on, making a new ZOOM meeting, this works sometimes other times, ZOOM says I am still in a meeting that I am clearly disconnected from. Hi Zoom Support,I am currently using the Zoom Basic plan and am encountering an issue when trying to assign an alternative host using the Zoom API. The error message received is:"Failed to create meeting, status code: 400Response content: b'{"code":1114,"message":"Unable to assign \"***********\" as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time"}'"I believe this issue is related to the limitations of the Basic plan. I would like to confirm if upgrading to the Pro plan will resolve this issue and allow me to add multiple co-hosts and alternative hosts.Please advise on the steps I need to take to resolve this issue and if upgrading to the Pro plan is the correct solution.Thank you.

How do I add a cohost permanently? I tried entering his email address in the edit area of the particular meeting. Way at the bottom, under options, it says "alternative hosts" When I entered the person's email address used on his zoom account, I get a message saying that email address could not be found. Verified this is his correct email address. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Any suggestions when using the OWL that when we use and record with Zoom- that when we look back at the recording- we can see what we see on the live? All of the participants? I only see on the recorded who is present using OWL?
When receiving a link for a meeting, is there any easy way to open it directly on the Apple TV Zoom app? Right now I have to get the meeting ID and password from the email link and then enter it into the Apple TV app, which is kind of a pain. Thanks

Emails I have used for on going zoom meetings for years that I send out are not being received. Seem to land go directly to spam. There is no information that I can find to remedy this. Help me please.
I have 2 Android phones and an Android tablet, all with the latest version of Zoom.Both phones will display 9 videos in Gallery View but the tablet will only display 4. Why?Could it be the difference in RAM? One phone has 12GB of RAM, the other 6GB, but the tablet only 3, so I am guessing that Zoom restricts the number of videos it displays on the tablet. Would this be the reason? I need to get another tablet but it is essential it displays 9 videos in Gallery View.Can someone tell me what the minimum specifications are for this to work?
I need to download a meeting from 14th Feb. I have the link but I think the meeting has been deleted from the cloud. I know theoretically Zoom only keeps things for 30 days but I have another meeting from March which is still available. Is there a way of accessing this deleted cloud recording somehow? It's a professional account. I have checked out previous advice but the icon for accessing deleted recordings has gone from our account. Many thanks. Jo

Every so often - cant seem to find a specific timeframe - the Zoom Windows 10 desktop signs me out, this has happened twice in the middle of a meeting too, it is quite frustrating, anyone else experiencing this? I do have Zoom installed on a second PC and my phone, but when this occurs, the PC is switched off and the phone (Android) doesnt have Zoom active.

Hi I am trying to activate Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join. It is activated in the Security tab of my account but I cannot get it when setting up a new meeting. Hi there,in my invitations the date and time disapeared somehow somewhen.In the form the snipets in the brackets [Meeting Topic] [Meeting Time] for time and date are included but in the invitation it stays empty.Please could anybody give me advice how to fix this?
Hi - Need some advice please. We have a series of meetings that are created from a calendly integration. Problem is that almost always no one show up after they sign up. We received a complaint that they are getting confused when Zoom pops up multiple tries to download an app. We need a simple experience like google meets where they need to just click on a link without all the popups. Any suggestions? Thanks
This has been a problem for me for over a year.I use a Windows 10 PC, Zoom version 5.9.7 (3931). If I am the ONLY person in a meeting (it could be my meeting or another meeting I joined) and I press "Start Video," Zoom's user interface begins to act extremely unresponsive/laggy for seconds at a time. The video feed from my camera will present normally, though (movements are always smooth and not lagging.) To press the mute, stop video, view chat, or any other UI buttons, I have to hover the cursor over a button for ~5 seconds until the button's hover effect finally shows, and then it immediately hangs again for ~5 seconds or so. Clicking anything will not generate a response until 5 seconds or sometimes more. Even trying to move the Zoom app window around my 1st monitor (in a dual monitor setup) isn't responsive. I will click and drag the Zoom app window to a new position, and it will hang until a couple seconds have passed, then the window will jump to the new position.
