Smart people:We often have "hybrid meetings", meaning people in the conference room plus people on Zoom. Our conference room setup involves a laptop dedicated to managing the Zoom meeting with a large (72") monitor on the wall and an Owl camera for video and audio. Works well, as far as it goes. We'd like to add a second monitor (and controlling laptop if needed) so that we can ALWAYS see the gallery. We often switch to a shared desktop view and folks in 'Net land get torqued off because we can't see all of them as they raise their hands with questions. So, ideal situation: one monitor displaying the current speaker/desktop/whatever and one monitor showing nothing but a gallery view no matter what other foolishness is going on.How do we get there? Thanks in advance!Ray
I have an AppleTV (A2843) with the latest Zoom app using my iPhone 14 ProMax as my continuity camera. All hardware and software are updated currently. We communicate with family via Zoom where we're in a living room setting. The issue I have is that my camera wants to wander constantly. I get that it's meant to follow whatever subject is in the frame. However when there's multiple people in the frame the camera constantly wanders. If anyone walks through the frame the camera again wanders. Is there anyway to turn off this wandering camera feature? The Zoom app menu is very limited and I can't find anything on my phone that seems useful. I'd love the ability to simply use my iPhone as a static camera. The constant wandering and searching is driving me nuts.
I'm trying to share the screen using my camera image superimposed on the bottom for a presentation. so far so good. But, in the upper part, another box appears with the same image of my camera but with a black background. How can I remove this second image?
I have been using Zoom since the pandemic, and after the last update I cannot get my piano audible for my students on my desktop computer (Windows 11).I have original sound turned on. I have reinstalled Zoom. I have updated all the drivers on Windows. My laptop and my tablet work with Zoom.My Yeti microphone works on my laptop, but not on my desktop (Windows 11).I've also gone into the settings on my computer to adjust my Windows microphone. I start teaching online lessons next month and was contemplating purchasing Zoom, but if this audio problem cannot be fixed I will have to find another platform. Does anyone have a solution?
We have implemented a system where teachers receive an email with the Zoom class link 15 minutes before their scheduled class. Recently, many teachers have reported an issue where an unknown host joins their Zoom meeting, accepts participants, and then leaves the meeting shortly after without any further actions. After thorough investigation, including scanning our web logs and checking the IP addresses of the participants, we found that all the unauthorized access attempts were coming from Microsoft IP addresses (potentially Safe Links or Microsoft 365 services). This was corroborated by a similar issue reported on Reddit, where we identified matching IPs.Additionally, our SendGrid logs confirmed that the Zoom links were clicked twice within a minute for all the affected users, which aligns with the issue timeline.Request for Assistance:We are seeking guidance on how to prevent these unauthorized accesses. Specifically:How can we prevent Microsoft services from automatically
When I create a regular meeting in Outlook, it uses the Normal template, which is set for the Calibri 11 font. When I then add a Zoom invite, using the Add a Zoom Meeting button in the toolbar, it adds the invite and text with the Aptos 12 font. This may not seem major but it adds a lot to my workload when I have to edit the font each time for each invite. How do I tell the Zoom plugin to use the Normal template, which is set for Calibri 11?
VersionsUbuntu 22.04 LTS (runnning on X, not Wayland)Zoom Client 5.10.4 (2845)Steps to reproduceOpen a new meeting or join an existing meeting.Let somebody else share her desktop.Maximize the shared desktop screen if not already so.DescriptionOnce the window is maximized, it seems to be impossible to resize it to a smaller size. It also is not possible to grab the shared window and drag it around, moving it to another screen. This behavior seems to occur either since the upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or the Zoom Client.

Following todays meeting, Zoom was uploading/downloading my 3 hour meeting for playback. I am unable to locate the file. Any assistance will be appreciated.
Hey, We were running a meeting today and got trolled by a naked person. Is there a way to find out their IP address so we can pass this onto the police? ThanksS

I just updated my Zoom (Version: 6.1.5 ) and I can no longer annotate content that is shared by other people. I can only annotate when I am sharing my own content. I noticed that the zoom version before this one had a little pencil that would appear which would enable annotation. However, this pencil button as been re-integrated back into the regular Zoom nav bar in this latest version of zoom (6.1.5). I am on a MacBook Pro (Running OS 12.5).I tried to to trouble-shoot by:- updating to latest version of Zoom (Version: 6.1.5 )- reinstalling the latest version of Zoom from the Zoom download center- restarting my machine- checking advanced settings for screen sharing / annotation (both on my account, and on others' accounts)- testing calls with a number of other users Cannot find a way to solve this.
My Zoom settings are automatically set to provide a transcript when recording. For a recent meeting, I recorded and afterwards got an email to say the recording files were available. I went in and downloaded the video and audio files however the transcript still said 'transcribing'. I checked later and still the same. It's now been 10 days since the meeting and it's still displaying 'transcribing'! Any ideas how I can access my transcript? thanks!
Thank you for the help in advance! I am scheduling a meeting, but I may not be able to attend. Can guest record the meeting to my cloud without me being there? And if I just have the meeting set to record at the beginning of the meeting would a guest be able to pause the recording? Thank you!
Hi,I had a three day event during which we needed to use an iPhone for close up video.During the meeting, all other participants could see the video, but the video is not showing up in my recording. Is there a way to recover this close up second camera [iPhone] or is this video footage completely lost?I really need the close up video, so any help is sincerely appreciated?Kathie
Even when we don't have OBS open, its virtual camera shows up as a video device option on Zoom. We have a webcam attached to the PC via USB and select HD camera in Zoom. For no apparent reason, the setting will sporadically change to OBS virtual camera during a meeting. The Zoom task bar then shows the camera muted icon. We can return to the webcam by unmuting it on the task bar or changing the option on the settings menu. A little while later it will switch back to the OBS option. This is a new problem. The camera works fine. We control the PTZ camera via its LAN interface which shows no problem with that video output. Short of uninstalling OBS, what can be done to stop this unwanted, sporadic change?
(asking on behalf of a family member) Situation--normally uses Zoom on iPhone, purchased Zoom Pro which allows for longer than 40 minute meetings on iPhone as expected. Recently purchased an iPad, installed Zoom client and logged in, but from iPad it still has the 40 minute time limit. Is there anything required to allow this on the new device? Thanks so much!
Dear Community,I am at a loss for what to do to recover a lost recording.1. I recorded a meeting. I am sure because my attendees all recall the recording portion. I also looked at my meeting report, which showed that participants accepted the recording in progress.2. I can find the meeting and meeting records (participants, length, and that kind of stuff), but I cannot find the recording.3. I have checked my Zoom folder and Recycle bin. I have also checked my other local folders.4. Yes, I have checked the cloud recordings, but it shows nothing deleted. Thanks for your help. Best, Kafeero
My tests work fine speaker and mic, but when my participants join, they can't hear me andI can't hear them
We just went through a Google Workspace transition. For the sake of simplicity, here are the details. CompanyA_dot_com was primary workspace, and my employee logged into it using name_At_companyA_dot_com - with Zoom to connect to her Google calendar. CompanyB_dot_com was a google alias domain in the primary workspace, but employee used name_At_companyB_dot_com as the login to Zoom. (not using Google SSO etc) I only use name_At_companyA_dot_com for all activities and don't try to connect my Google calendar in Zoom. Yesterday, our company split those 2 domains into two separate Workspaces. CompanyA_dot_com went to a new workspace, with me in that move. My employee went stayed in the original Workspace account, where CompanyB_dot_com become primary domain. She can only connect to Google now through name_At_companyB_dot_comAt issue is this morning, when trying to log in to to reconnect her Google Calend
I would like to suggest a feature enhancement to improve the user experience for those who work with multiple clients or use Zoom for various purposes. It would be extremely helpful to have a feature that prompts users to select their virtual background before entering a meeting. This would help avoid situations where users accidentally join meetings with an inappropriate or incorrect background, which can lead to awkward conversations and potential confusion. The proposed feature could include the following options:Pre-Meeting Prompt: Before joining a meeting, prompt users to choose or confirm their virtual background. This ensures that users have the correct background set for the specific context of the meeting.Default Background Setting: Allow users to set a default Zoom generic background that is automatically applied when they join a meeting. Users can then change it as needed once they are in the meeting, if appropriate. This improvement would greatly enhance the professionalism a
