Meetings

For the past week, I can not enter meetings - and I don't get an error message.  I just end up in a loop where after I click the link (or even enter the ID number/password), I get to the launch page and nothing happens - except for the pop-up "open zoom meeting."  I click on that and I'm back on launch page. I know the links/ids are good because can join meetings on my phone, but not on my desktop.  I updated Zoom about a month ago, and no problems until a week ago.

Since upgrading to Windows 11 (regular end-user track--nothing Insider), I've found a Zoom session (using the Zoom client) often eventually produces a "Low system resources may affect your audio quality. Try closing some applications to improve performance" Windows "overlay" error warning/message (attached). I'm using a decently powerful PC (obviously powerful enough for MSFT to say it's fine for Win11), 32G RAM, TB4 to 5K monitor, gigabit internet, 100mbps wifi, so I don't really think there's anything about my system which should so easily be actually overstressed. If I ignore the warning, my audio will start to stutter. If I close an application, the problem's better for a few minutes, then returns. It only happens "well into" a Zoom (at least a half-hour in). The Zoom session need not be anything special; today's was only five participants. The "Edit Next Session" is a useful feature. However, the problem is that it resets the breakout rooms settings instead of using the same settings already in use for current breakout rooms.The Options are reset for no reason - not even to my default options. E.g. the timer is reset to 60 seconds, even if my default is set to 10 seconds.This is confusing and unnecessary.  

How can we spotlight and/or pin presenters while being the person who is sharing the presentation.  

I recorded a meeting that I hosted (MacBook Air M2, 2023). All of us heard it say, "recording in progress" and "recording stopped." I ended the meeting and it started to convert. I touching NOTHING and walked away for a moment. When I came back, there is no recording anywhere to be found. Please help!

Whenever I see myself on the camera in zoom meeting I suddenly disappear every time I make any kind of move, like move my head or hands I completely disappear from screen and then reappear.  If I sit completely still and don't move an inch it's fine.  I need to be able to move and not disappear when I'm having a client session. 

Added question to Zoom Meetings, but it's a Zoom Phone question. It is unclear how to download calling reports for my team. ie who they have called, how long they were on the call etc. I have admin access. Would be grateful if somebody could give me a step-by-step on how to do this.

Zoom is installed in the computer context, and the logged-in users work without administrative permissions. What can we change to make Zoom update automatically?

"I'm having the same issue exactly as described. Android Zoom app refuses to send audio to any bluetooth speaker that doesn't have a microphone. It would be much better if I could listen to presentations, large group meetings, etc. via an external speaker which can achieve much higher volume than my phone device can." I am using ipad7 and android phone. And my speaker is Britz bluetooth speaker.How may I solve this problem?   

Just got a notice that Zoom license terms are changing, now i have this error. I can't seem to add new users to my account. "Some users will be unassigned Zoom Meetings Basic soon because you have exceeded the limit of Zoom Meetings Basic users. You can contact sales to learn about your options.Number of Zoom Meetings Basic users exceeded: 1033Days left: 30" How do i fix this? Some of my new users are not able to schedule meetings. We provision accounts via SAML.

I cannot find my meeting recording on my IMAC. Help

So every since i installed the latest version of zoom, it does not remember anything after i've closed the application. doesn't respect the "remember my log info"doesn't remember that i want my camera off by default (even though it's set that way in my account)doesn't remember call numbers when connecting to a zoom for government room.nothing Not only does this application basically screech my system to a halt when screen sharing, (even though i have plenty of ram) i have to do everything manually. every. time. very annoying, i hate having to use it. anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it?

I have to enable this in every meeting, is there a way to enable it by default? I don't see the option in Settings.

How do we add someone else's meeting to our zoom or bookmark them if they are reoccurring? I hate having to hunt down an email from weeks prior to click on their special button, which then opens a browser, then finally opens the app, just so I can attend. I want to open the app and go to a saved link or bookmarked meeting. I'd also be game to using a separate Zoom calendar that is not just giving Zoom access to my entire personal Google acct. I'd love some tips for ease of use and avoiding this run around. Thanks.

Is there a way to make registration OPTIONAL for meetings? I would like to offer participants the option of registering (as a sort of "RSVP" system), but still allow people to join last minute if they are so inclined. Is this possible?

With the November Update Zoom stated you could now access Meeting Summaries for an event in Salesforce, which was not possible in the past. I installed the Zoom for Lighting App and had a power user authorize their Zoom account from the Zoom Meetings User page. Once completed, we scheduled a meeting and used the "Make this a Zoom Meeting" checkbox. We hopped on a call using an external email contact, recorded it for about 5 minutes, and ended the call. After an hour, we checked the event page and looked at the Zoom Meeting Details panel, as the patch notes advised. Looking there, only the Meeting Details and Meeting Recordings were present—no Summary. We checked the user's Zoom account and they had transcripts for 3 other calls earlier that day, but not the one scheduled directly from Salesforce. We tried scheduling the meeting from Gmail, as we use Activity Capture to auto-sync events from Google to Salesforce. I need to add a couple one off meetings in addition to a reoccurring meeting that is directly linked to a website that allows you to sign yourself up. I need the meeting ID to remain the same so it will cross over and be available as a choice on the website.  Anyone have any experience with this or suggestions to help? Thank you

Dear Zoom Support,I am currently using Zoom Version 6.2.11 on my Mac device and experiencing an issue where, after joining a meeting, everything works well until I mute myself. However, when I unmute, the connection becomes unstable and I lose connectivity.I have checked the network and tested on different networks, but the issue persists. Teams works fine with the same network.Is this a known issue, or could you assist me in resolving it?Thank you for your help.

I've been having an issue with my Zoom meetings ever since moving to a new laptop.When I am in a meeting and someone else is playing a video or audio clip via shared screen, I can only hear the faintest (and loudest) parts of the video.  For example, if it's a song clip, I can hear parts of the vocals fade in and out but none of the accompanying music.  Nobody else in the meeting seems to have this issue.I have uninstalled and re-installed the Zoom program, and have tried fiddling with every single one of the sound issues, with no luck.  Has anyone encountered this?Thanks

Ever since updating to the new version of Zoom (Workplace), my audio volume is half as loud as before. My audio works fine in all my other apps and programs. This is the desktop version running in Windows 10. I have checked all the obvious things like drivers and Windows troubleshooting.

I purchased a Samsung smart monitor (M7).  The Samsung rep told me I could do Zoom meetings with the monitor and accessory camera by logging onto the internet function of the smart monitor.   (I have the chat conversation with the rep saved. )  I spent hours with Samsung tech support, it doesn't seem that I can access the camera in Zoom.  The camera only seems to work with Google Meet, so the camera is not broken.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Is Samsung blocking Zoom in favor of Google Meet?  On Zoom, I get an error that the camera is being used by another app.  I gave Samsung tech support remote access to my monitor, and they couldn't fix it.   I can't delete the Google Meet app as Samsung has blocked that action.  Any ideas on how to fix this?  Thanks!
