Whiteboard

I used the Whiteboard feature as recently as last week. Today, there are no left-hand icons, so I can't write anything. As a Zoom math tutor, a collaborative whiteboard is pretty important. I'm thinking the screen size got changed? Or I hit something that hid the icons? Talking with support I was told to log out and back on, make sure I had the most updated version, etc. That's all wise, but still no icons! Any suggestions?
I'm new to using the Zoom Whiteboard but I've had nothing but problems with it. I'm a teacher using it to host a class with 20 participants. My first time using it it worked beautifully for all of 10 minutes. Then I was unable to edit the board anymore. Participants were allowed to edit the board. The second time I did not allow participation and I couldn't even 1 edit done. No lines, no selections, no erase, nothing. The third time, I tested the board while the participants were entering and at first everything seemed fine. I was so relieved. I was able to switch pages and draw even. Then once my class was full, I went to use the whiteboard and I once again could do nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'm ready to give up as I don't have the time to prep my class in two places just to cover my butt if the whiteboard doesn't work and I don't like having to switch to another program on the fly in order to proceed with my class. Any idea what's going on? Did I switch a setting somehow

I'd like to design a white board ahead of a meeting tomorrow, but we are using someone else's Zoom account for the meeting. Is it possible to create a white board in my zoom account and then share or transfer that over to another zoom account to use during a call?
I have a Whiteboard opened within a meeting and am unable to find a way to disable the ability for participants to Share (Edit/View access) with people I haven't invited as participants. For example, in the screenshots below my test student (participant) was able to share Whiteboard access with someone from outside of our meeting. I have checked all settings inside of the meeting and whiteboard and can't find a way to prevent participants from giving non-participants Whiteboard edit/view access. However, in the Zoom web portal in the Whiteboard list, if I click the arrow to the right of a Whiteboard's Collaborators, an Invite to Whiteboard box opens. If I click the little Settings cog at the lower-right of this box, I can uncheck the option, "Users can share at or below their permission level". This is a lot of hidden steps to get to this setting - is there really no way to do this when you're in a meeting with a Whiteboard open?
I suspect this is incredibly obvious to everyone but me but I can't find it in Zoom's documentation. For the new Whiteboard, when I click the arrow to the right of the Whiteboard icon at the bottom of a Meeting, there are two Share Whiteboard Options. What does "Who can start sharing when someone else is sharing?" mean? The first Option for "Who can share" was confusing enough and it took a LOT of testing to realize that it meant who can add/share a whiteboard within the meeting. It sounds like this setting should control who has the ability to share the whiteboard that displays with users outside of the invited participants. It also doesn't help that in Zoom's Portal Settings for Whiteboard sharing options, both options have the same information in the information popup.
I want to conduct an important meeting regarding the TCS tracking but another member will explain all the things as he has the material and presentation. Can he use the whiteboard as a member or only I can use this?
Has anyone had any experience deploying either the LG CreateBoard or the Samsung Flip Pro as a companion whiteboard in a Zoom Room? Here are the links to the products: 86” IPS UHD IR Multi Touch Interactive Whiteboard | LG CreateBoard | 86TR3DJ-B | LG US Business 85” 4K UHD Flip Pro Interactive Whiteboard (WMB Series) | Smart Sigange | Samsung Display Solutions It appears that both would require an OPS PC installed in their OPS slots, but would they also require a camera and microphone if the display is only being used as a companion whiteboard? Thanks in advance!
I'm using the Zoom usefully in Korea In the pricing&plan page, it says '3' of zoom whiteboards in free planCan I know what that exactly means? It is probably not a important information, I have to explain the diffence between free and paid plan exactly.
After the recent upgrade (!) my graphics pen keeps missing pen strokes when using the zoom whiteboard -doesn't happen with any other applications so is a zoom issue.
Well this is my attempt at writing the letters of the alphabet. Anytime you video share the pen will not register some strokes. It's extremely annoying. Writing on the whiteboard without sharing works fine, every other app works fine, for instance writing in gimp, but as soon as you share video, even the new whiteboard app begins to skip strokes. My zoom installation at home works fine but my new zoom installation started doing this.I would upload a video but i'm not allowed so here is a screen shot.
Hi all,I prepare my whiteboard before class, in the Zoom app. I place several images for students to see, to aid my lecture. But then in class, the students cannot see the images. Can anyone assist w/ this?
My zoom account was managed by a company I contract for. When they were managing it they restricted whom I could share whiteboards with and it was restrictinng the other clients I work with. Then I took over purchasing my own subscription with the same email address and login information. However the previous whiteboard I had saved are now gone. How can I recover this whiteboard?
We have a very large room that will have two 100" TVs in the front. I'd like to be able to add multiple DTEN D7 75" appliances in Companion Whiteboard mode down the side of the room. Does anyone know if you can concurrently run multiple companion whiteboards in the same room?
From within my zoom meeting, I changed my whiteboard sharing option to "Host Only" so participants cannot share the whiteboard. But my participant WAS able to share the Whiteboard. I'm assuming that I set something up incorrectly? Could someone else please test?
Zoom whiteboard has disappeared. Any idea what has happened?
Just since using these tools last week in a Zoom meeting, they have completely disappeared. I have checked my settings and everything is checked for annotating, but I don't see it anywhere. Any suggestions?
HiI am just starting out as an online teacher. I am having trouble, as when I share a whiteboard, my students are not seeing the option to annotate or write on it. I can write and draw on it, but they just get a blank whiteboard with no annotation tools. I have tried everything. The settings are set up for students being able to annotate. Really could do with a solution. Many thanks
Zoom whiteboard has been ignoring some of fast inputs of XP-pen in 5.11.4 update. I downgraded to 5.7.4, and this problem went away.
HI Can anyone tell me if enhancing the meeting whiteboard to enable the uploading of images in to the board is on the roadmap? Cheerds Steven
Is there a way of moving between the shared whiteboard and a shared screen , WITHOUT going back to the meeting and stop share, i need to use ipad to handwriting in pdf file and share whiteboard for the student to do some questions
Hi guzy, I prepared some whiteboards with the new whiteboard. Then by sharing only a part of it is visible. like this: TEXT TEXT TEXT....... (so only the points show that that is more, but can't see). Any idea? Tried it few times, no change. Thank you
I'm not sure if I'm posting this on the right place, but can any one tell me what the difference between zoom-pro whiteboard and add-on option whiteboard? I wasn't sure if I need to add this option or not. Thank you.
Zoom crashed suddenly and kicked me out from meeting when one of the attendee shared the whiteboard . And even after several attempts to join it happened to be the same thing. My OS is Ubuntu 22.04 and I am using debian version of app. Current app version is 5.11. 1(3595).
Hello,We are using the NEW Zoom Whiteboard, and it's great, but we are having trouble with the comments. If I add a comment, I can read it up UNTIL I Ieave that board, and then when I return, I can see the comment icon (and can move it around) but I cannot open it to read it. If someone else leaves a comment on my board, I cannot read that either. Is anyone else having this issue?
