Whiteboard

Starting yesterday (November 28th), users who join my meetings can no longer write or draw on the whiteboard, although the Whiteboard is set to "Cooperation", not "Presentation". Several of my students have reported the same problems, regardless of their operating system or device. The icon bar to the left does not show anymore.
I love the look of the new Zoom Whiteboard, and I was so excited to try it with colleagues. I created a whiteboard on my zoom account and then shared it by clicking on the bottom task bar in a meeting. The participants could see my whiteboard and I could add to it, but they couldn't. I've enabled the in-meeting whiteboard on my online zoom admin account:I then tried to share directly to participants emails, but it said that I couldn't share as it was disabled by my administrator: this is someone from within my organisation. Any ideas please?
Saludos. I am conducting English classes via a simple Zoom room. I see the new Whiteboard, which looks fantastic. I am unsure of how to share with the Zoom meeting. I need simple clear instructions. I have investigated the available tutorials but remain in the dark. When I am in a meeting, I can click Share then whiteboard, but I only see the old-style whiteboards. Any clarification you can offer me will be appreciated. Thank you.
Suddenly Zoom forced me to use Whiteboard versus my trusted Screen Share page. Whiteboard is clunky. It required me to pre-choose the Font size before I can randomly write my thoughts, thus ruining spontaneity. My students have no interest in adding their changes to the board, either. Also, Whiteboard wraps text, causing the first letter to capitalize whether it's in the middle of a sentence or not. WHY was Whiteboard added when Screen Share worked perfectly fine? Please, HOW can I get use of Screen Share again? Yet again, Zoom failed to advise subscribers of another forced change. We are required to adapt, like it or not.
I updated Zoom and now I have a new whiteboard instead of old version. How can I downgrade to the old verion?
Will co-owners have access to the whiteboard after the owner account is deleted?Sorry if this has already been asked.
Is it possible to save what I have done on Whiteboard so that I when I leave it to SHARE SCREEN I can come back to what I have previously written?
Hello! I have a problem since the last zoom update, in which a new whiteboard was introduced. It became impossible for viewers to edit the whiteboard, because "The owner of the whiteboard only allows sharing with users within the same organization". I am trying to add them as "editors" in the share menu, but it says, again, that "Your organization has disabled the ability to collaborate outside of your organization". But I am the owner of the account! Also, I tried to change default settings in account management -> account settings -> whiteboard, but it didn't let me change access level to "editor", because "Admin switched off this option for your organization". How can one fix this?
I have run several meetings where I try to grant my meeting attendants permission to edit the whiteboard. I can't seem to figure out how to do this correctly because they never get the tool bar to do so.
Hi everybody, is it possible to integrate a poll in a whiteboard? An if yes how can I do it?Thx for your help and answers! Cheers diane
Hello,I am an online music teacher that uses Zoom with my students.I regularly use multi-page PDFs (100+ pages) of books and sheet music in my lessons. Is there a way so that when I turn a page on an uploaded PDF, it also turns it for the student too? Many thanks.
I've now held various sessions on zoom with the new white board and have not yet found how participants can annotate on the whiteboard. It should be so obvious I'd have thought but can't find any options for permissions etc etc and participants have said there's nothing on their side. They move cursor on white board but that's as far as it goes...any one know how to sort this?
Hi, I'm using whiteboard for professional development as a "reciprocity ring" (where someone posts a question on a sticky note, and others can comment with their answers/feedback/ideas). It's important to know who posted the initial sticky note, and all the response-sticky notes, so they can reach out to each other afterwards with further questions. What settings need to change so the name of the person who posted the sticky note shows up? I am using the most up-to-date version of Zoom. Thank you!
If participants in a meeting are unable to collaborate on a shared whiteboard, it might the result of an account setting limiting sharing to only users in the same organization. There was an issue recently where Zoom Pro accounts defaulted off external sharing. Meeting participants from outside your account or who are not signed in are considered external users and cannot collaborate on whiteboards unless the sharing setting is "Allow sharing with users in the same organization and outside your organization." Follow these steps to enable external and un-signed in user collaboration in and out of meetings: Open a web browser and navigate to https://zoom.us/account/setting (NOTE: This page requires account permission. If you cannot access it, then you will need help from your account owner or admin to adjust this setting.) Navigate to the Whiteboard Tab Under "Whiteboard Cloud Sharing", enable "Sharing" and pick the option "Allow sharing with users in the sam
I mainly use my whiteboard while teaching and the new version does not allow my pupil to write on the board. When I try to allow them to share it says that' I have disabled collaboration with users outside my organisation"/I have no organisation. Ii is usually just me and a pupil. HELP with the old whiteboard it was SO easy
Have been playing around with brand new Zoom whiteboard feature. Overall it looks great but I encountered some issues so far I'm hoping other users or Zoom staff can help troubleshoot: 1) I found that I could work on a new whiteboard in a meeting as a host that was visible to my participants but participants were unable to contribute to/ collaborate in the whiteboard even though I selected the option to all participants to be able to edit. Anyone else having this issue? 2) Another user, (one of the participants in my meeting) had pre-built a whiteboard in their zoom account outside a meeting and shared it with the zoom account I was using. It did show up in the whiteboard dashboard of my zoom account but when I went to open whiteboard in that meeting the whiteboard that had been shared with me didn't show up. 3) I noticed the toolbar in the whiteboard when in in-meeting mode is pretty limited compared to the toolbar when using whiteboard outside of a meeting.
I have searched and can't find a way to enable external participants to collaborate on a whiteboard template. The box that enables this is not active (light grey - can't click on it to share). I keep getting the message that my organization (I'm the owner and sole administrator) does not allow external participation. Any idea of how I can fix this? Thanks
Hello !I am trying to change the Default Access Level from "Only Invited Users" to "Anyone" but it is said "Your admin has disabled this setting for your organization". What can I do to change this ?Many thanks for your help.Xavier
Hi, I have a new account that I have set up. I believe it is a private account with paid Zoom One Pro Annual license, with the paid unlimited whiteboards add on as well.I am the account owner and only member. When I try to share a white board with one of my clients after a meeting is done, I get the error "sharing with users from this organization is disabled by your admin"Well I should be the Admin of my account, right? But I can't find any settings to do with this anywhere and I am frustrated. Does anyone have advice on how to enable myself to share my whiteboards with whomever I please? Thanks.
Hello Palmer,Thank you for your response but I do not have the possibilities that you show me on your screenshots. I would like to send my 4 screenshots. This way you will be able to understand what is happening on my Zoom. How can I send them to you? Is it possible to speak with someone from the Zoom company directly to resolve the issue. I hope that someone could help me Thank you for your reply.
Hello, I was wondering how the zoom whiteboard works. We want to be able to post questions in there and have people answer them. Is there a way to make it anonymous so no one can tell what another person posted or commented?
HiI can't figure out how to disable participant from messing with my board. I wish that only host can draw or write on board. Disabling comments didn't help - users can still mess around with things written.Awful change.
I'm having trouble with the "new" whiteboard.1) How do I open a blank/empty whiteboard WITHOUT a template?2) In the new whiteboard, how do I erase all? I found the eraser but it does not erase everything. I want to be able to completely clear the whiteboard of all previous drawings, lines, etc. Please help. Thank you.
In the past, I could switch between full screen zoom meeting, and the whiteboard, and what I put not he whiteboard would stay on the whiteboard as I switched back and forth. Now, each time I leave the whiteboard and return the it sets up a new whiteboard. I do see that I can select an 'existing whiteboard' and that act of doing that each time as I switch back and forth multiple times during a meeting is an extra step I'd prefer not to take. Any helpful thoughts on returning to how it was?
