Webinars

Hi there, I run Webinars as a part of my job, and have done for the last year or so. I've never had an issue where I've lost internet or power during a Webinar, until today when I was part way through another meeting (on another platform) and our internet went down. My question is, if I lose internet while hosting a Webinar, what happens to that Webinar? Does it end for everyone, or will the "hosting" go to one of the people on the panel? Do I need to make someone a co-host when they join the Webinar, so that if this happens it automatically swaps the hosting abilities over to them, and the Webinar continues? I also record the Webinars (to the cloud, not my computer) as a part of my role in hosting them, will the recording continue automatically? I've tried Googling this and couldn't get a great answer, so thought it would be easier to ask on here! Thanks

Help, the CSV file will not upload. We have just added Zoom Events to the account. This is the first webinar. I have formatted the CSV file with email, First_Name, Last_Name. Exported as CVS. The file throughs an error on every line for every column. What is wrong?  

We recently held a webinar event in which I wanted to share the On Demand link afterwards so people could watch it.  Tested it on my end and it all worked every time.  Let me know if you had the same experience or not.  1. People that registered before event and used the Join Now link from their invite email were asked for a passcode.  Through testing I found that the meeting passcode and the recording password were not the same.  So I tried to make them the same, but the Share passcode had restrictions on it so that it could never be the same as the meeting passcode.  So I had to send out the Share passcode to everyone.  Some still couldn't get it to work until they logged into their Zoom account, some got it to work without logging into their Zoom account and some never got asked for a passcode at all.  Used the original registration link from the webinar invite.  2. There is not a lot of documentation about the actual behavior of the 3 settings under Zoom webinar settings in the native salesforce app:Create Campaign for each Webinar: this is fine I guess, but how are fields mapped?Add registrants as Campaign Members: what is the field mapping? It is smart enough to reference a Lead or Contact as the campaign member?Create new Lead : if the registrant is an existing contact in the org? what if there is a duplicate?I need to understand the behavior more before I can fully test the integration and decide if its usable for our use case what if I only want webinar features? the full installation takes up 6 custom fields on the Activity object which is a lot for most orgs since 100 is the limit 

I want to hold a webinar where I can turn chat on and off for panelists like you can for attendees but I'm not seeing that as an option.  Is that correct?

I am trying to run a webinar where you only see the PowerPoint screen not the host or the panelist. I can change it for me but I don't know how to make it so that the attendees don't have a choice but to only see the PowerPoint. 

Hi - I have multiple companies I manage, each are connected to Zoom. Currently those companies are all connected via Hubspot to the same Zoom account, where we run our webinars across all of our companies for. I noticed recently that Zoom is syncing and creating contacts whenever a contact signs up for a registration across all of my connected Hubspot Instances. I'd like this to not be the case. What is the best way to set up and connect a single zoom account to multiple external tools (Hubspot instances) to prevent this?

Greetings.  We have recorded about 3 webinars per week for the last several months.  I'd like to get a list of these recordings with the Name and Date of the Webinar along with the URL/Link to the recording with the Password. If this is possible, how do I produce/download it? Thank you !! Ted

Recently, we hosted a webinar and encountered an issue with multiple attendees having the same name. Any idea on how to resolve this and if it is possible for us to find out the actual attendee's email?

If I will schedule a Webinar for 1000 participants, then when the webinar date is near and we need to make it from 1000 to 3000, is that a new subscription? will i be charged twice, for 1000 and another for 3000?

Can you please add the resources to the registration content block for emails? That way we can email the links to resources in advance of the meeting/webinar.

Is it possible to specify the language of your webinar attendees so that when you import them into zoom, they are sent the webinar confirmation email in their preferred language? (In our case we want English or French)If yes, where do you configure that email? There is also no guarantee that any/all attendees have a zoom account. Thx.

To do this, we need the Zoom webinar 500 plan + Zoom Workplace pro license, at minimum?4) Also, does the Zoom webinar 500 plan mean 500 attendees for the whole month in total, or it means there can be a maximum of 500 active attendees at the same time?

I wanted to go back to an old webinar to see the email settings, but there is nothing older than 4 months showing up. Do old ones get deleted? How can I find them?

Hi Zoom Community,I'm having an issue with Zoom's interpretation feature during my webinars, and I hope someone can help clarify what's happening. In my setup, I'm the host, and I speak in Spanish. I've set up an interpreter to translate my speech into English, allowing attendees to choose between the original Spanish audio and the English translation. Everything seems to work fine during the live session, but I noticed an issue with the audio recording. I record the webinar, including the interpreter's audio file. However, I found that when I switch my "Listen In" setting to English, my Spanish voice gets recorded in the interpreter’s audio channel. This is not what I intended, as I thought the interpreter's channel should only contain the translated English audio, not the original Spanish audio.Has anyone experienced this before? Is this expected behavior, or is there a setting I may have missed that causes the original language audio (in this case, Spanish) to get mixed in

We want to start as a "webinar" for 1.5 hours then turn the “webinar" into a “meeting" for an after-chat for those who want to stay and discuss the webinar.  Can this be done during a webinar, or do we have to invite participants back in with a different link as a meeting?

We hold webinars several times a month.The webinars are held separately by content using the registered webinar URL.For each URL, there is a background that makes it difficult to see the detailed angle of view,Some things may be displayed in the desired formI would like to unify all displayed ranges if possible, is there any way to do this?The same PC, accuracy, sitting position, etc. are set the same, but it differs depending on the URL.

I attend a lot of webinars from various places. I have a paid Zoom account, and am logged in. Yet I have to enter all my details (name, email, org) EVERY D*MN TIME. I reached out to Zoom help desk about this, and they said it's for "security." This is BS. If I'm logged in, then that's all the security you should need. It takes 0.0 seconds for a bot to auto-fill a form with spam registrations. It takes me minutes. This "security" feature makes it harder for people to register, and easier for spambots. Please autofill webinar information for logged in customers. If someone is spamming with an account, you should be able to catch that.

In Zoom Webinars, we are having trouble enabling chat emoji reactions and chat thread replies.  How do we enable chat emoji reactions for Zoom Webinars?How do we enable chat thread replies for Zoom Webinars? (These already do work for our Zoom "Meetings" but not in the "Webinars")

We are running a webinar where participants did not have to register, they are free to log in via the URL we are sharing with them. We disabled the registration setting and any other prompt request we could find in the settings but when we do some tests and try to log in we are still seeing the "Enter Meeting Info" prompt asking for a name and an email. Is it possible to remove this in any way?

Dear Zoom Community,  I am looking to use Zoom Webinars to run a small virtual multi-day "conference". I would like attendees to be able to change the language that the captions appear into the language of their choice. I know this is not something Zoom provides, but would love suggestions for third-party addons that may fit our needs.  Essentially, I need what the Presenter in the webinar is saying to be automatically captioned live into multiple languages. After adding a new Custom Questions for a webinar,I found that I can not bulk upload attendee information as I did before.How can I bulk upload attendee information like this⇓？・first name ・last name・mail address・a Custom Question I created

We are working on compiling our webinar report for 2024 but are only able to see attendee data from our last three webinars. Is there a way to access attendee numbers from earlier webinars in the year? If so, could you please guide us on how to retrieve this data Thank you for your assistance!
