Hi everyone, An issue that has arisen today - I'm hosting lots of upcoming events and was running some of the technical rehearsals today with some of the panelists but none of them were able to join the practice session as they were going into the attendees list. Help! It worked for one when I deleted their original link and sent them a new panellists one but I don't want to have to do this for all of the other panelists. Many thanks, Kimberley
Many of my Zoom webinar attendees reported that the links that I was shared with them on Chat were not clickable and they were also not able to copy that. I have been conducting webinars for months and same links with htpps:// I have been sharing since then. But this issue was reported yesterday by many of the participants. I got the testing done and found that issue was existing for all the users who are accessing Zoom using Androp Mobile. Their broswer and Zoom app are uptodate. Links are clickable on laptops and iphone. One more observation I found in the testing that the issue is only for WEBINAR that is accessed by Android Mobile users. Same users are able to click links if shared in Zoom meeting. So clickability issue is with Zoom webinar product used in Android mobile user. Please let me know if someone any resolution as it directly impacts by enagement with the attendees. {Update July 11th 2024}
When I give a presentation, I always use Show Presenter View, expecting that my audience will see the pictures I'm showing and a small camera shot of me. On my side, I will see those two things, but also my script and the next slide (which the audience is not supposed to see). Today, my audience did not see a camera shot of me and saw my script, which significantly reduced the size of the pictures I wanted them to see. I knew the audience did not see the camera shot of me, but was not aware of they were seeing my script (with reduced picture size) until the end. What did I do wrong? How do I keep from having that happen again?
Hi Team,I have embedded in a zoom registration in my webpage, but after submission it shows error like "refuse to connect"
Several of my teammates and I use templates to schedule webinars. We just realized that the polls do not save with the template or are we missing something? We all don't want to have to add the polls to each of our templates.
Hello all, Last May, I enrolled in a series of Webinars, but from the end of last June whenever I fill out and try to send the request forms to access the recordings of the Webinars, I get invariably the same error message: "This email address has been used to send the request. Check your email or use a different one." I contacted several times the host/organizer of the Webinars, but he's ignoring me: I never sent the request before; I checked everywhere in my email, but there's nothing; the email address I'm using is the very same (and only one) registered both with my Zoom account and the Webinars account, I can't use any different one. I have left until end of this month (July 31st) to watch the recordings, and I need to understand if I can solve the issue myself, or if it's the host/organizer's responsibility to solve the riddle. Thank you very much in advance. Nicola Giacobbe (Nico66)
I'm a licensed user with an Education account.I scheduled a webinar and I entered as alternative host a colleague. My colleague started by himself the webinar, he figured as host and things worked perfectly. At the same time I needed to start another webinar from my account, but I couldn't! A message advise me that there was another meeting going on...I read tha it's possible to host up to 2 meetings at the same time...Thank you! Isabella
We are a small Not For Profit using Zoom to run webinars for community. We only run around 4 meetings for under 100 people and 4-6 Webinars for 100-200 people a year. Wondering if there is Not For Profit pricing available for an organisation such as ours that runs a small number of events. Zoom is a great accessible platform for our use.
Hi, We are a nonprofit organization running webinars and meetings. Currently, we have two licensed Zoom accounts, but this requires the account holders to spend significant time starting and attending meetings that don't directly involve them. Given our limited number of meetings and webinars, additional licenses are not justifiable. When we create users with basic accounts, they seem to function independently, similar to if they were set up separately. Is there a way to set up master/sub accounts to allow basic plan users to start meetings on behalf of the licensed accounts? Would recordings still function properly in this setup? Can we still exceed 40 minutes? And use our increased meeting capacity? We currently do not have the option for master/sub configuration. The advice suggests contacting our account executive for more information. How can I identify who our account executive is?
Created a single session webinar, Live, with enabled Livestreaming. I have created a polling question for my live webinar in event. Once I launch that polling question in zoom workplace, I cannot create another. Just states "You cannot edit a poll when it has been launched" which is confusing to me. How can I create an additional polling question?
Hello, I was a panelist in a webinar today. I requested permission from the host to record the webinar and received it. The red "record" function was active throughout the webinar and we received the audio notification that recording was in progress. After it ended, I did not see any indications that the recording was downloading to my computer, and cannot find the files. Is there any chance it could have saved to the host's cloud, or anywhere on their device? I have searched my computer for any zoom-related files, and have not been able to find it. I also checked the recording folder for the account I was logged into.
Can't open event recording of event host sent to me. Error message you dont have cloud recording. I am a free user.
Hey all! I was trying to use the transcript feature in a webinar but it was not working, is it possible to use? The main account that the webinar was created in was NOT on the call but I was a co host and could not do it.
Hello! Can someone please tell me what settings I need to check so that:1. Host (me) is recorded in the webinar when I share my screen (see pic "1" - only screenshare visible in recording)2. Host and panelist with cameras off don't appear in the recording as small videos when another panelist is presenting (see pic "2" where videos are present on the right)3. When in gallery view (needed because two people are having a conversation), only host and panelist with camera on should be visible - how do I get rid of the "Pam" square (Pam was a panelist). (See pic "3") Thank you. This is rather urgent since I am recording tomorrow and last time was not good. In the past I have not had this issue so I am not sure what was different this last time.
Hello! I used the "Livestream to YouTube" feature for the first time and had a bad experience: Every 20 seconds, it restarted the audio, overlapping on top of me continuing to present. You couldn't understand what I was saying because it was restarting the webinar on top of me over and over again. After 3 minutes, I ended the event because it sounded like 10 of me talking over myself. Both the Zoom Webinar recording and YouTube livestream recording sound like this. Has anyone else had this issue? Any fixes?
Hi all,All of my previous webinars under 30 days, associated recordings and reports have gone missing.Zoom has been wiped clean. Can any of this be restored?Best
I have been running a webcast with registration. We have over 6000 current registrants. We want to start using Zoom Webinar going forward. The problem I am having is importing the 6000 current registrants. I can import their Name and email address. But all the custom fields like Title, Organization..... do not import. Is this a limitation of Zoom's import?
Hi all,I need a bit of guidance for Saturday's webinar, I have two quick points to address to ensure a smooth experience.Firstly, I've already distributed the attendee link. However, I now need to generate separate, unique invitation links specifically for our 15 panelists who will be joining before the general attendees. Could you please advise on how I can create this panelist list and generate these individual links?Secondly, I want to double-check that all attendees will definitely be muted automatically when they join the webinar. Could you please guide me on how to verify this setting within the platform? Thanks so much for your help in making sure everything runs seamlessly!
I set up a webinar as requested by my manager once the webinar started and the attendees the host then realised they should have requested a meeting. Could I have then converted the webinar with the attendees already joined into a meeting. I know how to set up a webinar for a future date and change this into a meeting and vice versa but cant find anything on if this was possible with a webinar that had already started with joined attendees.
I've purchased the webinars in preparation for upcoming sessions. I've been doing some prerecording with the camera on and when I go to play the recording, it only shows a blue screen, it only recorded the audio. I double checked the settings and it has everything turned to ON. I did a test with someone and they had said that they could hear me in the webinar, but could only see the general screen of waiting for host to start the meeting? Has anyone experienced this and have a solution? I contacted Zoom support via email, had correspondence at first, and now it's been 24+ hours since I've had any follow-up. TIA for your help!
I started a webinar practice session a few days before my webinar was scheduled to begin. During the practice session, I heard from a registrant that the registration page stated that the webinar had started, with a button that said "register and join" instead of only "register. The registrant was confused since it appeared that the webinar had started days early. Is there a way to disable the "webinar has started" notification and "register and join" button during a practice session to avoid confusion?
I added panelists to a webinar and sent them their panelists links from within Zoom. One of the panelists received her link via a Microsoft Teams notification instead of via email. Is there a setting that I may have accidentally enabled to make this happen when I was setting up the webinar? Or is this a setting on the panelist's end?
I am receiving a massive amount of Zoom registrations that I DID NOT sign up for. Why is Zoom NOT supplying us with the ability to mark these as SPAM like Goto-Webinar does, and STOP THIS MADDNESS????? I "opt out" of them if I can actually find the link. Some of them are hidden so well that you can't. This IS SPAMMING, and Zoom is allowing it to happen. It's like they have figured out that by using Zoom as the spamming platform, that their SPAM gets straight into the inbox. C'mon Zoom! FIX THIS!!! Give us the "is the spam" where The spammers CANNOT remove or edit the footer.
Is anyone else getting spam emails from scammers using the Zoom system and why is Zoom not doing anything about it. This is crazy and I will pull my company out of this product if nothing is done. The emails do not even allow for reporting spam. This is crazy.
