We have been using Zoom Phone system for a few years now and have found it invaluable for all our users especially for the working from home. Last week we have been instructed by our Head Office to install FortiEDR on all company systems, since this installation we have had a very intermittent Zoom Phone service where calls were being made from PC's but there was no ringing tone heard and when the called party answered there was no audio. After many days of testing the network, checking firewalls, restarting switches we decided to remove the EDR product from some key systems, the problem disappeared! Has anyone else had the same or similar issue, and possibly have a solution to get these products to work in harmony with each other?
Hey All...wondering if any of you have had sound quality complaints using the Poly VVX450 Phones? I have users complaining that calls are of poor sound quality and they frequently have to call callers back...I have checked the MOS scores for calls and nothing glaring there...I have a VVX myself but have not experienced the issues first hand.Do any of you have recommendations for other phones? or suggestions with the VVX's
Hi there - When we log into Zoom to use the phone / receive calls we are suddenly having issues. If we try to make a call we get 'Not connected. Attempting to reconnect' message. This has happened all of a sudden this week. How would we go about diagnosing? if you phone our number it also says the number you have called is not recognised.
Poly E320/E450 doesn't recognize "#" as end of dial. When dialing on a B20 or CCX I can dial an extension or phone number and press "#" instead of having to go up to the display and press the "Dial" softkey. On the E320 and E450s we have deployed, the "#" is added to the dial string and is not interpreted as the end of dialing sequence. The phones are currently on Poly ver 8.2.0.10139. Does anyone know if there is a template field to activate the "#" as the end of dial or if there is some other solution?

We're trialing Zoom Phone -- with our current provider, users park calls with just one button into one slot -- we blind transfer to slot #1 -- then every phone has a key to pick up that slot. Is there a way to park a call into a specific slot, rather than getting a randomly assigned park slot? With the DTMF code *5 we just get a random slot -- we'd like to explicitly park / blind transfer a call to *801. Similarly, what's the use case for Call Park Line Keys without this option? It looks like I can create ~50 call park line keys (*801-*850) -- is the idea here that someone parks a call randomly, then another user taps ... one of their 50 park slot keys (???) to pick it up?
We've been using Zoom Phone for a couple of years now. I've always noticed that tak,ing calls via the Zoom app on my cell phone over wifi or cell network is pretty "laggy".. a normal mobile call is MUCH better. Is there any reason for this? more importantly... any fix for it? I've had other users recently tell me the same thing, so hopefully there's something that can be done.
Hey Team. I have an Aastra 6721i IP Phone. It's not listed in the device dropdown menu. Does anyone have a workaround that might connect this phone? Thanks Glenn.
Our last system sync'd with Google Calendar (optionally) to reflect the fact we're in a meeting (not just a Zoom meeting) and effectively mute our office phone temporarily. For example if we had a meeting on calendar X, the phone would route everything to the department IVR/voice mail menu for "meeting mode" which would give callers some options. How can I do this with Zoom phone?
I use my computer sound when I talk on the phone. That sound works on zoom calls. When that happens using just the phone I don't get properly heard. I have tried raising the volume and setting up the sound to adjust itself. Neither way works. Help!
My company uses the Zoom phones, but we don't have desk phones. I answer office calls via my android cell phone. Recently, I connected a Samsung smartwatch. How do I stop the Zoom phone calls from automatically connecting to my watch? Mid-call I lose the client on my handset and they transfer to my watch. Typically, we're both annoyed and possibly disconnected before I can switch it back. Please advise.
Hi AllI am looking for command area phone to use for zoom phone intercom.I would greatly appreciate your recommendations for a phone that work well with Zoom intercom. Thanks
Hi there - we are looking for a USB or Bluetooth speakerphone that attaches to the computer that can be used with the Zoom Phone service. We want the ability to use the answer/hangup button, mute, volume on the physical speaker device. I'm trying a zoom certified eMeet M1A. The mute and volume buttons work, but I can't answer the zoom phone or hangup a call with the speaker device. I have to use the Zoom app on my computer. Any suggestions on a fully functional speaker device? We want to avoid buying actual handsets. I also do not want to buy each zoom certified device to test. thanks
Hello, We have setup auto receptionist that forwards all incoming calls to a call queue extension that answers during specific business hours. After hours, it goes to voicemail after a greeting with our business hours. After hours, none of our employees can get through to the office since it goes to voicemail. Is there a way to set up a 24/7 extension or call queue that employees can call to get through to anyone (assigned members) in the office? Thank you!Mike
My company is currently switching from RingCentral to Zoom Phone. I was informed by Zoom that I could pre-assign our RingCentral numbers prior to porting them over to Zoom. I would like to do this so we do not experience any down time. However, Zoom has not been able to tell me how to do this. Do I need to initiate the port of all our numbers and during the process I will be able to pre-assign? Or can I pre-assign prior to initiating the porting process? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi. I'm trying to get an answer on this. I'm looking to port my number over from another provider but I wanted to know if I have the ability to send direct sms messages to the phone number and from my phone number?
I have linked Salesforce and ZoomPhone.I should be able to listen to recordings in the blue box in the following image in Salesforce, but the icon does not appear. Can anyone help me with a solution? https://org62.my.salesforce.com/sfc/p/000000000062/a/3y000001kr0P/IW6g_PpYEju6RIu7.EmBsgseF5Uy2M2wDyEUtkpax3I
We use a phone queue and I move people around in it quite often or delete and add a new member. In order to move people around, I have to delete names and then re-enter them. A drag and drop feature would be incredibly useful!!
Is there any way to define Membership Call Queues by a schedule?I have membership of 3 call queues, but only want to for example, have two of them active between certain time of the day. Saves me having to remember to not answer certain calls for when I'm not covering those departments 🙂
How can my Office Manager - see from her phone if someone put their Phone on DND? Can the BLF change ? or what are the options? We are using VVX Poly Phones.
Hi Members, I'm using the latest Zoom Android app on a Samsung Z Flip 3, I'm based in the UK. When I try to add my mobile number to the 'Connect Phone Contacts' section, I'm presented with the verification code, I type it in correctly but it errors back 'Failed to register phone number, please check your network connection and try again' I am on the net either using WiFi or Data, and my Zoom profile contact number has been validated on the website successfully. What's the issue please, does anyone know? Thanks for any help
All Zoom calls route to my mobile phone. In addition to Zoom calls, I also receive non-Zoom calls on my mobile phone. Is there a way to detect when an incoming call is a Zoom call?
Hi Community,I would like to allow one of my phone users to listen to recordings made by others on her team. Nothing else, just recorded phone calls. If this is possible, how do I go about setting it up?
