I have downloaded the csv file to be used as an import for configuring keys and positions on a phone. We have Polycom VVX 350s and I would like to reuse this csv file across a few dozen people. I tried to just upload a file with keys 2 thru 6 because key one is already configured. That was not acceptable, it wants Key 1. How do I code the csv so it will not overwrite everyone's phone with my extension? Is that possible, or do I need some other csv that will have everyone's phone on it and I have to configure every column for everyone before uploading? I hope this makes sense.Thank you!
Hello, I already have an business account running. I'm interested in porting another number, at the same time can it be used separately from my current account, meaning, the contacts and calendars do not comingle. While using the same Phone and workstation Apps. Thanks!
I have 1 user at my company where their voicemails do not show up in the Zoom Workplace app. Has anyone every encountered this before? The app shows that she has however many unread voicemails, but she cannot see them. I setup a desk phone for her for the time being so that she can clear them out. Thank you!
I'm looking for information concerning the process for ordering new Zoom phone service using Zoom's Partner Exchange Program in Uganda. Any information will be helpful.

If I am picking up the call, I have no idea who Chad, Jamey, or Dave were actually trying to get ahold of because it will not tell me. Our old phone system let me know that if Terry was calling for Rick, I could pick up the phone and say, “You have reached Rick "LN removed" desk this is Lauren, How can I help you.” How can we get this setup correctly. If anyone in the Call Queue see that Bob is calling for Joe. Joe is not in the office, but Susan sees that the call is for Joe and can answer it and answer confidently.
I am in Australia and have just joined Zoom. When creating an overseas contact contacts do I have to include the full international phone prefix, eg. 001144 for the UK.
I'm based in the Philippines and I need a U.S. phone number primarily to receive voicemails, SMS, and sometimes calls from the U.S. However, I also need the ability to make outbound calls and send SMS to the U.S.. Note that outbound calls to the US will be rare and usually short. I'm considering the most basic plan ($10/month) since I don’t need unlimited calling. Would this plan cover my needs? Thanks!
When a user is opted into a call queue and is on a meeting (video/multiple users), that meeting does not prevent queue calls from coming through. If the user is on a call, though, that will prevent queue calls from coming through to that user. Is there a way to prevent calls from coming through when the user is on a meeting as well?
Hi All, I currently have setup an Auto-Receptionist to handle incoming external lines. This has a greeting set to advise that calls are recorded for quality purposes etc. This then routes to a call queue that has the team setup to answer. We used to have it setup so the external lines were going direct to the call queue with the greeting setup there as well. We found that if another office transferred the call, the customer would hear the call recording advice more than once. This was very frustrating to them. The good thing about this setup was the level of reporting that we would get on which external line did they call, the number of abandoned calls during the call recording announcement etc. Unfortunately this level of detail has been lost as the A/R reporting is no where near as good. My question is if there is a way to satisfy both requirements ie to have the C/R announcement play only once on a call (regardless of whether it is transferred back to the call queue o
I'm creating a CAP using a Common Area Phone package and only assigning an extension. There is no phone number or DID assigned. There is a desk phone needed - Poly Edge E220. Is there a way to restrict this phone from making external calls? I've created speed dial buttons for the key internal numbers it needs to reach. I've disabled international calling. But I can't find a setting to stop it dialing other external calls that will be metered. Am I missing something? Thanks,Chris

We want to use Zoom phone to handle all calls in auto attendant mode AND have the voicemails left in the main mailbox. We have been able to set up auto attendant and have calls routed to the attendant mailbox (#801) but have not been successful in getting the messages at the #800 level.
Hey, It seems that we are unable to use certain special characters within the comments field of the Zoom phone integration with Salesforce. When trying to add either '#' or '&' to the comments box, the following error is returned. "Unexpected end-of-input: was expecting closing quote for a string value at [line:1, column:265]" We have the field synced to a long text area in our task object. Can anyone please advise? Thanks
I've tried to contact Zoom sales, support, and chat but I have not been able to get an answer. I'm one of the thousands affected by Skype discontinuing, so I am looking for alternative phone platforms. I see Zoom added phones in 2019, so potentially a good option since it seems to function just like Skype (your own phone number, cellular data or wifi calling, make or receive calls). I like Zoom as a platform and use it regularly for video conferencing. I've had a Zoom Pro account since 2016 and, therefore, have legacy pricing of $99.90 per year. I don't want to lose that because Zoom conferencing is vital to my work. It might be nice to have phone and video conferencing bundled together. First question: Can I port my Skype number to Zoom? (lots of places say they will accept ported numbers, but the fine print says they won't accept Skype numbers. I have not found one yet that accepts Skype numbers) Second, and more important, question: If I go with a Zoo
Is it possible to sync the Opt-In/Out Verification status from within Zoom Phone over to a Salesforce contact?Currently, I only see this status live within he SMS Logs within Phone System Management.
I want to promote the Zoom Phone to my audience on social media. Does Zoom offer affiliate programs? If so, how do I sign up to become an affiliate for the Zoom Phone?
When I answer an incoming call on my Android Softphone, the call always switches to my watch.I have to click on Bluetooth and change from my watch to 'Handset'.How can I remove my watch from the list of Bluetooth audio devices for Zoom? Is it possible to use the camera with Zoom on a Cisco 8865. Also, I'm looking for guidance on how to get the most out of it as it relates to Zoom Phone. Any information you can send my way would be greatly appreciated. TIA
I recently created a program to sync contacts from our CRM system into Zoom Phone as External Contacts. This works great, but it has the problem of making it difficult to search for internal extensions in the directory. It's not so much a problem on the Zoom Workplace app, but it is an issue on our desk phones (Yealink). For example, if I search the directory for 'Jason', it shows the max results of 200, which doesn't include the internal extension for Jason. Searching the full name doesn't return a result, when it did before syncing the external contacts. Is there any way to prioritise internal contacts in the search so they are returned before external contacts? If there is a way to amend the LDAP search filter to only show internal users, that would be a suitable solution too.
We have deployed Zoom Phone system with IP Phones etc at our offices along with Emergency addresses etc. These all work just fine, and this is for people working remotely using the Desktop Client (on Windows).Windows 11 has now started prioritizing IPv6 as the default protocol if it is available. So for example if you ping www.google.com in a command prompt it will respond with the IPv6 Address instead of the IPv4.The problem with this is that the Zoom Client will complain that it cannot confirm my home address location and I will get the error at all times. There are some workarounds.1) Disable IPv6 on the router (not ideal)2) Apply a registry fix to prioritize IPv4 over IPv6 on the OS (needs a reboot)3) use command Prompt to manually set IPv4 Priority over IPv6 (Does not need a reboot but requires setting on subsequent reboots) Once you have changed the priority and restart the desktop client the error goes away and it sets the Emergency Address correctly. Is this behavior going to
We are receiving complaints from phone users where their calls are being rejected. When we look at logs, we can see that the user/delegate's iPhone is rejecting the call. When we provide that information to the user/delegate, they are advising that their Zoom mobile app never rang and that they definitely didn't reject the call from their mobile app. The cell is not on Do Not Disturb. This issue has been noticed multiple times and we get the same response from the users, that they didn't touch their cell and their cell never rang.
I have a zoom account with both Zoom Workspace and Zoom phone. I use the phone for my business. I want to port my xfinity personal phone number (a landline !) to Zoom. It looks like I don't need another Phone License to do this, but I can just add another number to the existing phone license I have. Is that right? If I have unlimited US/CA on the business phone, and I just add another number to that license (by home number), does the home number inherit the unlimited US/CA as well? Lastly, if I just add a number to the existing license, can I route business calls to my zoom app on my cell phone, route personal calls to both my cell and my wife's cell as well as a sip phone? Or do do this, i need another phone license. Thanks for the help. Couldn't reach zoom support or sales to get this answer.
My organization recently migrated to Zoom Phones from RingCentral for our VOIP provider. Previously, the CP-8851 phone could transfer calls by following this process:A customer calls the phone numberThe employee answers the callThe employee presses “Transfer” The employee enters and calls the phone number to transferThe employee presses “Transfer” again before the call answers (to do a blind transfer)The phone calls is transferred to the other phone number However, now on step 5, the call disconnects abruptly. All the other functions work fine such as the sidecar/KEM, warm transfers, and speed dials. Even though I believe it to be a Zoom issue, Zoom support says this is a Cisco IP phone issue. This video also demonstrates the procedure that should be working. However, the call disconnects after the destination number is entered and the “Transfer” button is pressed for the second time. Has anyone experienced this issue and/or know how to resolve it?
