How do I add someone as an alternative host? I have an individual account. thanks - dave

I use an app called PowerDVD23 to show video clips [using an LG Slim Portable DVD writer/player, plugged into my Dell Latitude PC] as part of a lecture for an online course. This was working fine until the most recent Zoom update. Suddenly, the Screen Sharing interface is completely different and does not give me the option of sharing anything that isn't already online. When I try to share the video, with one setting the students could see it but hear no sound; or they could hear the sound with a black screen. Am I doing something wrong with the settings???

We use to see the time on meeting invites when you send it to others. Not it's not there anymore, what happened to it? It's very ineffective 

I have NO code I need one. I am using my laptop. version is the newest one PROi did no trouble shooting because I am not able to go any further than this. Upload and transfer. When I try to download to the laptop it wants a code.  

I have always been able to send the same zoom link for my meetings and now it is requiring a passcode. How do i turn off the passcode requirement and still be able to use the same link each time without scheduling a meeting? Like to just hop on a zoom randomly with teammates when necessary? 

I'm having a weird bug that I'm trying to solve. For context, my zoom is integrated with my outlook mail/calendar. I also have it on the setting where it was automatically generate a zoom meeting link when I create new events. From outlook calendar, I hit "NEW EVENT" to start to draft up a new meeting invite. As soon as I add a guest, like within seconds of adding a team member's email into the invitees section of the form, a zoom meeting is created and shows up in my zoom calendar as a new event that's happening in 5 minutes. I haven't even had a chance to put in the correct day and time yet or actually send out the meeting invite. So I am constantly having to delete zoom meetings from the zoom app homepage "upcoming meetings" area because it's filling up with meetings with incorrect times that are just drafts.  I hope this makes sense? Unable to import Powerpoint with the 'advanced' function of slides as background. I had a window pop up that has never popped up before asking to access something in order to read my powerpoint. cookies or something, I cannot remember. I said no. And now I can't get back into it. Is there a way to reset my original choice or something?

Hello, I work with student's online and have always used the same personal meeting link for each student. With that said, I send the link to them individually via google calendar invite. I rarely jump out of Zoom between seeing kids. With that said, incoming students are placed in the waiting. Someone brought to my attention that when trying to enter, the title of the meeting, while in the waiting room, is a students name and not the name of the student trying to enter. I don't recall this happening last year. When scheduling a meeting via google calendar and then hitting the Zoom button, my personal meeting ID appears, but now for some reason each student I invite has my personal meeting ID with a few extra numbers at the end which is why I believe when they are placed in the waiting room they are seeing the previous student's name in the title. Can someone help me figure out how to disable this? I tried contacting Zoom but apparently the account I have doesn't allow live 

Hello, I would like to make a feature request: Could it be possible to set for a recurring meeting an option that automatically makes an attendee video off when joining, just like the audio? They could then open the video after, if needed, but it would be handy for some security and managing a webinar, especially with older people who often join ignoring the zoom client prompts as if they had a mirror and they are not realising they are broadcasting their image. On the other hand I still need attendees who are able to manage their video to be able to open it easily without managing them one by one.  Thank you!

I teach online courses at a community college, and when conducting synchronous classes, I often use both my webcam and document camera. To share my document camera, I select it from the "share" option under advanced settings. However, after about two minutes of using it, I hear an audible dinging sound. This forces me to stop sharing and restart the share during class. Is there a setting I may be overlooking to prevent the dinging and avoid having to restart the share every few minutes?

Is it possible to send invitation directly to somebody's calendar. Not a link but email which will appear strait in reception calendar.

Our institution is very excited about the new option for QR codes for poll/survey questions, allowing folks to respond individually even when in the room with several others. However, we would like an option for a shortened URL or something that could also be available in case folks are only using laptops (no phone available). Is this something in the works?

Hello,  When I use Zoom and play guitar (electric), the sound is muffled.  When I click on settings > audio > advanced, I only see "echo cancellation" as an option. There are no settings for "background noise suppression." My understanding is Zoom detects guitar as background noise and suppresses it, so I need to turn off suppression. However, the option does not appear. I am using the latest version of Zoom w/ Sonoma 14.6.1 on my Macbook. I have a Zoom Workplace Basic account. My microphone is working properly. Interestingly, there are audio options for "original sound for musicians" and "Live performance audio"  but those selecting either of those options has no effect. The guitar is still inaudible/muffled.  Zoom help articles don't seem to help:  This article only refers to echo cancellation when describing advanced audio settings.  This article also refers to noise suppression.   Thanks, Ste

Bonjour,  Je tente depuis 2 jours de télécharger l'enregistrement d'une réunion qui est enregistrée sur le cloud. Le fichier vidéo fait 740Mo. Le téléchargement démarre, m'annonce environ 2h de téléchargement. Et au bout d'une dizaine de minutes, il se coupe et mon ordinateur Mac affiche le message d'erreur suivant "fichier non disponible sur le site". Quelqu'un aurait-il une solution pour me dépanner. En vous remerciant Bien Cordialement

We use Zoom for customer facing meetings that are booked via HubSpot. There is a concern that the link users receive defaults to trying to get them to download the zoom app to join and it might be a reason for some drop out. We've enabled allowing using to join from the browser but is there a way to make it so that users receive a link that tries to directly load them into the meeting via the browser to avoid that source of friction?

Live music and singing does not sound very good when heard by those on Zoom.  I was told that one thing to do is to make sure that the sample rate of the digital mixer equals the sample rate on Zoom.  The sample rate on my mixer is set at 46.  How do I locate the sample rate of Zoom?
