If transcript is selected and you can see the words throughout the entire meeting, why doesn't nothing generate after the meeting ends showing the full transcript automatically? It only exists if you click the save button and that seems really dumb. And, the transcripts are not saved in the zoom account like the recordings are, I can only find them in my OneDrive (which I never use) buried in a random file.
Hi, Zoom Community,I get Zoom pop-up notifications on my Windows 10 desktop for every event on my Google calendar. I only want Zoom to notify me about Zoom events. How can I turn off Zoom's notifications for the non-Zoom events??Thank you!
When I set up a new meeting, I cannot see it in my app (so I cannot edit it there - e.g. add an alternative host, etc.). I can still see my meetings scheduled previously. I've updated Zoom to the newest version. It did not help.
Good day! I have been online with support for three days and GROK AI and read through Community suggestions. Online support finally said something is wrong with my ACCOUNT. How do I get that issues fixed. I have uploaded pictures to support and have an open case. I have had to use a different meeting platform because I can't SHARE my screen. I have another meeting TUES with 43 people and need to get this working!! Please help! Zoom support hasn't gotten back to me. I don't want to have to spend more money on another platform. All suggestions are welcome!! Thank you!🙂Linda
Por equivocación no he guardado la grabación del webinar de hoy. ¿Cómo puedo recuperarla si no sale en "Grabaciones", ni en "papelera". Es como si no existiera. Gracias
As Zoom has become an essential tool for communication, especially for large teams, we’ve encountered some challenges with maintaining quality and efficiency during high-traffic meetings. What strategies or settings do you use to avoid lag or connectivity issues when hosting or participating in large-scale meetings? Any tips on optimizing video/audio settings for a better user experience would be greatly appreciated! For anyone interested in understanding the broader concept, you might want to explore video conferencing technologies and how they impact meeting performance
I joined a meeting and downloaded some files linked in the chat. I was using the iphone zoom app. After the zoom meeting ended, I searched for the downloaded files in my phone but I did not find them. I don’t know where they are. I hope someone can help me on this. Thanks.
Participants are manually assigned to a breakout room, but there are instances when the participant is sent back to the main room. At this time, they are "grayed out" but still showing as a member of the room they were kicked out of. We are then unable to move them back into that group unless they rejoin the Zoom meeting. Any thoughts on what we can do to remedy this?
Hi!I have bee using Zoom for 10 months. For 2 or 3 weeks, at Zoom meetings my video has been turning off automatically after a while. Hello - My camera has stopped working in Zoom calls. It is a built in camera on my Lenovo computer. My Camera app works and my video works on Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. Here are the steps I've done so farLog out, log back inConfirmed Security permissions are turned on for the Camera on ZoomConfirmed my built in camera slider is in the proper positionConfirmed no other application is open using my cameraUpgraded ZoomRebootedUninstalled and reinstalled ZoomThe camera video feed just remains black and my camera light on my computer slowly flashes a couple of times before stopping altogether. I have received a message once saying the background was taking a long time to load and asked if I wanted to proceed without the background (I had Blur turned on), and I said yes, but it still didnt work. I have since turned blur off and the camera still doesnt work.
Hi everyone, I had an important meeting but I can't open the file. I get the message “Cannot open document ‘double_click_to_convert_01.zoom’. zoom.us cannot open a file of this type.”I tried to find a solution on the internet, and one looked good (make a new recording, pause, and move the “broken” files to a new folder, stop recording). But that didn't work. I don't know what to do anymore. I have a MAC.
Hi there, I have the Zoom Pro licence. I am the one using the licence, but have added an admin with a basic account. Even though I have granted the role of admin, he cannot see any cloud recordings. How and where can I change that? I have been searching for answer for about an hour now and am still clueless Best regardsTimo
For some reason this week 1/8/2023 when i am on a zoom call my screen is just a blank grey screen with a laptop icon in the middle of it when the camera is on. There seems to be no way to actually to speak to anyone if you live in the UK for technical support and the bot is as useful as a chocolate teapot. Any suggestions as to why this
I am trying to demonstrate some things to my participants using Share Screen, Screen. It was my understanding that when I choose the Screen option, participants could see WHATEVER is on my screen. So, first question: Is that true or false? In particular, I was logged into my Zoom account via my web browser and was showing some of the back office features. But when I then opened the Zoom APP on my desktop, the interface popped up as usual and I could see it, but my participants could not. Wondering if there's a conflict with being logged in via we browser AND being logged in on the app at the same time? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Hello! My Zoom app keeps on crashing when joining a meeting, it would open the audio and video preview window then once I click join, it would crash and attempt a rejoin but crash again. However, when joining through the web app it works perfectly fine and also when starting my own meeting. I have restarted my laptop, updated all drivers (video and audio), did a cleanzoom uninstall and reinstalled Zoom's latest version, and disabled hardware acceleration in the Zoom settings. I have also adjusted the sample rate and bit depth of my recording devices seeing how this fixed the same issue for others in the Zoom Forums, unfortunately this didn't fix it for me .
I can't disable the passcode for meeting(toggle is grayed and shows locked) even though the waiting room is enabled. Isn't it supposed to be one or another? Or did they changed the regulations? (Still showing atleast one of the security measures are required in the security settings).
Hello, Since my last update, my background has been blurred on my MacBook Air (Ventura 13.6.9). I am using Zoom workplace version 6.3.5, but I have had this issue on the previous Zoom update as well. No virtual backgrounds are enabled or any other effects. I do not have this issue with Zoom work place on my i phone or my i pad. I have read the threads about the Face Time camera settings being the issue, but it works fine on my phone and I pad, so I assume this isn't the issue....
Hi, After polls host shares results with participants. But participants only see the percentage displayed. is there a way so they can see the counts without sharing host's screen??Please advise. Thanks.
Hello, my Zoom is having an issue. When I watch a video shared through Zoom (the video has both voice and music), I can only hear the voice in the video, but not the music.I’ve tried using a different headset, but it still doesn’t work. When I play the video directly on my computer, I can hear it normally. The issue only occurs when I play it on Zoom or when someone shares it with me on Zoom. The same issue happens on my phone as well."Thank you
When I start a meeting, it automatically open in full screen mode. Is there a way to change this? I'm not referring to sharing a screen, it's when I start a meeting.
I recorded two zoom meetings (6hours & 3 hours) on my desktop. Both of the video seemed being recorded smoothly, but when I opened the mp4 video, both of them don't show the screen. I can hear the voice, but I cannot see anything. The screen is all black. Is there anyone who knows the reason and how to fix this? Thank you.
Hello Up until now, Zoom could not find the solution where sharing my screen of not having those dark shadows projected to the viewwer. Pls update and change that so those dark shadows are not seen by our audience viewer. This issue does not happen in gmeet, teams, or webex, only in Zoom. Please try to fix that.I think I made myself clear. If there is already a know hoy for that, please share it.Zoom is one of the best for the many features it has, only the problem mentioned above is the issue.Pls acknowledge receipt and replyRgds
Similar to this topic, I would like to have dark mode on Linux. As a Linux user, I feel that the topic didn’t fully address the kind of assistance both the original poster, users, and I were hoping for. The current setup still leans heavily on light mode, which can be pretty harsh on the eyes, especially during long sessions or late-night workflows. While there are three options to tweak the top bar and meeting background, they don’t touch the Zoom background itself, which stays glaringly white. That sudden brightness spike is jarring, basically being flashbanged at 3 in the morning. So, a proper dark mode that darkens everything, not just fragments, would be a huge improvement. Including this in the theme selection or rolling it out in an upcoming Linux update would go a long way in reducing eye strain and making the experience more cohesive. Hoping this gets prioritized. In a setting where Zoom is used to conduct a seminar, sessions are recorded with the “active speaker” option enabled, meaning whoever speaks gets featured in the main window (not gallery view), and hence should theoretically get featured in the recording (local recording enabled, in this case). Never had a problem with this setup until recently (September 2021). The issue is as follow. The active speaker appears (is featured) in the main window, but the recording instead records the screen of someone else in the attendance (not speaking, apparently at random). Hence, the actual active speaker does not appear in the recording, even if during the event the active speaker does occupy the main window. Instead, we get the recording of someone listening to the active speaker (and the sound of the active speaker). There is no way of knowing there is an issue with the recording until it’s too late. Any idea about how to prevent or fix this issue?
I have 2 machines running Zoom Workplace (v6.6.10) under Linux Mint (v22.2) Cinnamon (v6.4.8) and a 3rd running Windows 10 (22H2 b19045). On the Windows machine, I can open the Settings window and access all of the dialogs (video, audio, etc.). Under Linux (both machine), trying the same thing causes Zoom Workplace to crash and require restarting, regardless of whether the Settings are invoked via the gear wheel icon or from the Settings entry in the User menu. All 3 machines are 64-bit laptops of varying vintage and manufacture. One of the Linux machines has an external monitor and webcam attached; the other does not. The first one has only a touchpad; the 2nd has both touchpad and (wireless) mouse. There's no difference in the behaviour I've noted above; both crash Zoom immediately on trying to access or change Settings. Zoom Workplace under Windows was installed a few years ago via the downloaded installer app. Under Linux (both installations), I used Mint's So
