Hello can someone from the Zoom connect to set up a demo and so my team can ask general questions like interpreter troubleshooting
Hello,I am a student on a Northshore District School laptop. Whenever I try to host a meeting it says that zoom is unavailable for America. How do I fix that with the restrictions I have on a School laptop?
Over the last few days, my audio goes out during meetings on my laptop. It does it on its own. I am not touching the keyboard at all. I have not changed any settings. If I close out the session and relaunch, the audio is good at first but then goes out again. It takes less than a minute after logging on for it to occur. I cleared the cache and that didn’t help. I reinstalled the app and that didn’t help. My drivers are up to date and I have plenty of capacity on my laptop. I tried different headsets. There is no difference, and I can listen to online videos without any problem. This also happens when I change the source from headset to computer speaker. I don't have this problem on my other computer. The maker of the computer with this problem checked it for any errors or settings issues, and nothing was found to be a problem. Other software programs work fine with audio. It seems
Dear Zoom Team,I am writing to suggest an improvement to the language interpretation feature in Zoom. I work with multilingual meetings where interpreters often need to temporarily address the main room — for example, to ask the speaker a question, make a clarification, or assist the host in real time.Currently, when interpreters are assigned to a language channel, their voice is not heard in the main room. To be heard, they must manually leave their interpretation channel (by selecting "Off" in the Interpretation menu), speak, and then rejoin their assigned language. While this workaround exists, it is inconvenient, disruptive, and technically confusing for many interpreters — especially in fast-paced meetings.Suggested Improvement:Please consider adding a simple toggle for interpreters that allows them to:Temporarily speak to the main room (all participants),And then return to their interpretation channel with one click or shortcut. This would preserve the clean separation of language
How do I transfer a local recording (on PC) to the cloud to be able to transcribe it pls?
dear friends, during the last months I re-used a link that I have shared with people all around te word by adjusting the dates. So the link was made for a february meeting and then I opened the link again and connected it with a March date. I did this in the planning screen. But this seems not possible anymore. Can somebody give me a tip?
I recorded a zoom meeting, with the host's permission. I ended up with two files of a few KB each (an audio and a video M4A), and a 1 KB conf file on my computer. I used zoom with the application on my Windows laptop, but I didn't log in to zoom. How do I get the the recording? Thanks in advance for your help!
Hello! I'm experiencing issues with keyboard input during remote control sessions in Zoom meetings, and it seems related to Wayland. System configuration:OS -> Ubuntu 22.04XDG_SESSION_TYPE=waylandKeyboard Layout -> English (US)Zoom 6.4.6 (1370) Together with a colleague, who has the same system configuration, we tested all the combinations of Wayland and X11 environments. Only the X11 -> X11 setup worked correctly for us. The other combinations had the following issues:X11 -> Wayland (shared screen) - The letters and numbers are mapped correctly, but it seems that the specials keys (e.g. Ctrl, Alt, Shift) are not triggering any event.Wayland -> X11 (shared screen) - The letters and numbers are mapped correctly, also the special keys seem to work, but some hotkeys are mapped incorrectly (e.g. in an editor -> Ctrl + A does nothing, Ctrl + S closes the window))Wayland -> Wayland (shared screen) - This combination is the worst, only a few keys are m
I have the role 'Owner' for our company account. When I look at future meetings of other users on the https://zoom.us/meeting#/upcoming page I can only see some of them. All of us are licensed, all other users are 'Members'. Any ideas on how to see all members? Thanks for the help.
This discussion format isn't very helpful if I can't post a screen shot. In any case there's a new Zoom button that appears in the lower lefthand corner of the screen when I'm sharing my screen in a Zoom meeting, and it effectively blocks the Mac finder button, which is in the same place, and which I would like to use to access documents I want to share on my screen. What workarounds do people recommend?
I host 2 weekly meetings. Both are recorded to the Zoom cloud. After the 2 meetings, I access my online account to download the recordings. The first works okay. It automatically downloads the single file (not 3) to my download folder on my computer, no obvious way to direct it to a different folder. Small annoyance. The major problem is that the 2nd recording doesn't download to my computer unless I exit the site and return. This is more than an annoyance. Is this a bug in the system or is there something else I can do to more easily access the 2nd (or any other subsequent) recording?
Hi, Im running Zoom app on PC Win 11 (PC Acer Aspire 5), I can participate in meetings and sound and kameravideo works fine, but when the host is sharing a video from youtube or similar sharing, I have no or very scratchy sound.Participants running pc with win 10 doesnt have these problems, only me running win 11 Do you have any suggestions how to solve it in an easy way
Hi All, I purchased the Zoom Workplace Pro plan (1 user, annual billing), and it shows as active under my account. However, my meetings are still ending after 40 minutes. I am the account holder, but I’m not seeing a clear way to assign the license to myself under User Management. When I click “Edit,” I don’t see the option to change my user type to “Licensed.” I see no way to send an email to Zoom support about this issue on their site so that I can ask them to assist with confirming that my Pro license is properly assigned to my account and for help resolving the 40-minute meeting limit issue. Thoughts? Thank you, Marc
I looked for a recently recorded meeting and found only the file “recording.conf”.I tried to return it again using zTscoder or from the desktop app, but [please meke sure the following files are in the recording folders, then convert your recording by double- clicking the files] message. However, no files exist other than “recording.conf”.
My accountant sent me a zoom link. I clicked a button that said something along the lines of 'record to cloud' - she accepted the recording and then a voice said recording in progress. The meeting has ended. I have absolutely no idea how to fetch this recording. It is super important too - since she was demonstrating how to use accounting tools. I really NEED this recording but it's just nowhere obvious. Where to I go to find the recording? EDIT: I happen to have a Zoom subscription. However, my CPA initiated the Zoom meeting. Again, I selected record Zoom meeting to could. In the moment and during the meeting I was not able to record to my computer for some reason - I'd initiate the 'record to computer' feature and it appeared to work at my end but the meeting organizer did not get the request UNTIL I selected record to cloud. Why is that something as simple as making a recording a super convoluted. I new I
Why is there no "Test microphone" option in Ubuntu 20.04. I've tried installing via snap or from the `.deb` file but there's still no option. There are even times where there' s no sound or the sound is inaudible. Is that option not included in Linux versions?
When my participants use the annotation away, it stays on every slide and I cannot erase it. I have to stop sharing and start sharing all over again to get the arrows to disappear.
I created a recurring meeting over a year ago. It no longer appears in my Meetings list, but it is still active, as I and other members of our group use it every week. I would like to edit the configuration of that meeting, but I do not see any mechanism for doing so during the meeting (when I am host), and I do not see any mechanism for accessing the meeting from the webapp homepage. Creating a new meeting and ensuring the new meeting id and passcode get to all the members, especially those who have not attended in a while, would likely be very disruptive. Is there any way to access the meeting? A similar question was asked by @AASaharaClub but not effectively answered in this post: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/My-list-of-meetings-does-not-include-one-recurring-meeting/m-p/201824
We are a national homeless healthcare organization and have 50+ staff members -- and about 25+ each host large public-facing meetings and webinars on occasion. We want to limit the number of all-access "admin" roles on our team because it gives that admin access to EVERYTHING in Zoom including each person's work meeting history which feels like an inappropriate and unnecessary violation of privacy for the entire staff team. We are constantly frustrated that co-hosts are not able to access and edit more meeting settings and registration reports in Zoom and there appears to be no way to configure or customize this. We want co-hosts to be able to access registration and attendance reports - otherwise they have to constantly check with a Zoom admin to see who has registered for their event. We want co-hosts to be able to manage registrants, so we can distribute the adminstrative burden of running these meetings and marketing them properly when registration is below expectation. W

I've checked everything in this article ( https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0066704) and meet all the requirements for wired sharing of iPad, but I see no option for sharing my iPad when I click Share in a meeting (in Screens, Documents, or Advanced). Has anyone else had this issue? Anyone know a solution?
Hi Good People, I am facing following issue in Zoom meeting (Paid Version). The screen share option is deselected by default in Host Tools and I have to select the screen share option every time when starting a meeting. I have tried different meeting links, checked the screen share settings, updating zoom but I cannot find a solution. Requesting someone to please help. I was in a Zoom meeting with just my manager this morning — no one else was supposed to be there. While I was talking, I suddenly started hearing a woman and a child chatting in the call. But here's the weird part: they weren’t part of the call.My manager kept speaking, but it sounded like he was on mute — not because he was muted, but because his voice was being completely drowned out by the voices of the woman and the kid.I tried saying hello to them, but they didn’t respond. It was like they couldn’t hear me at all — and I couldn’t talk over them either. It honestly felt like two totally separate Zoom calls had merged together. I was confused and creeped out.Eventually, I left the meeting and rejoined — and just like that, everything went back to normal. The woman and child were gone, and it was just me and my manager again. After doing a little research, I found out this might have been caused by a Zoom glitch — like overlapping audio streams, a phantom feed from another meeting, or s
