Hi,I'm hosting a Zoom event, is there a way for validating the attendees when accessing the session?For example: provide/upload beforehand to Zoom a list of people invited, this way, when the attendees enter the session they are asked to register their email and crosscheck it with the list provided to grant accessMy intention is to avoid that people with the link can access the event if they are not part of the list Thank you very much 

Help! I've my first workshop scheduled for October the 9th and when I test the zoom link it automatically goes live while I'm sitting here in my pjs. How can I get Zoom to show a message saying this call is scheduled for 10am 9th of October and not have random people popping into my zoom.

Hi Community, we recently held an event using Zoom Events, after previously doing most of our events as meetings. The one big issue we had was getting people in to the event. We are wanting to run future and ongoing events for people with low digital literacy levels and ease of access of joining is looking like it might squash that project (or at least the use of zoom in that project).   What I like about a zoom meeting is that you can use the one link and pass it around to a group of people or even bookmark it to their desktop and they can come and go again and again using the same link.   So far I can not find anything in the documentation that suggests this is possible with events, and in fact everyone needs to have their own unique link. Has anyone found a way around this or a way to make it easier?

Hello!  Is it possible to duplicate a recording hosted on zoom?  I'd like to slightly edit/trim the 8.5 hour event I just hosted and share the new version using a different link.  And, keep the old link I've already distributed active.  Could someone tell me whether this is possible?  And, if so, how to do it? HelloI got a Zoom Event ticket for an event I paid to watch. I have a Chromebook with Zoom PWA. Regular Zoom meetings start fine with it, even when I get to a Zoom join page on the browser. For regular meetings, I click the link to use Zoom PWA and it works well. With this specific Zoom Event ticket, it does not. Instead, I get a page saying my device is not supported. 1 . Even though I signed up in advance, I did not get any warning the event ticket will not work. 2. If I open Zoom PWA, I can't join the above. Join Meeting, it will not take the Zoom Event URL.3. The Zoom Event does not show up in my Zoom account as a scheduled meeting. Why? It's this special thing that has no trace except in an email I got from zoom-events. Ideally, I could open scheduled events on my Zoom PWA and just join. The integration is sub-standard.4. Why do you keep providing sub-standard support for Chromebooks? Hi, The zoom meeting application gives an option to select an NDI audio source but the Zoom application speaker option does not provide an option to select an NDI source to output the zoom audio.  is there any zoom app that can be used to do this?

Looking to set up a multi-layered hybrid meeting.  In room participants will be in a large room, with Zoom participants to have a plenary session.  This large group (both the in-person and Zoom participants) will break down to about 5 smaller breakout groups with the in-person participants still being in the same large room.   Each breakout group will have around 10 in-person participants.  The groups will be approximately 15 feet apart - possibly more.  After a period of time, the breakout groups will again join together (both in-person and Zoom) for a final plenary session. While we are pretty clear on what we need to do with the plenary session, we would like some help on what we need to do for the breakout groups.  Each breakout group will have a device (laptop/Surface Pro) to engage the Zoom participants.  What do we need in order to set up the smaller group sessions, especially in order to avoid audio echo/feedback?

Did anyone experience issues with their audio on their recordings on Sunday, Sept 26th?  Was this a Zoom issue?   

In our Zoom Room, we want to be able to customize the screen layout for our second screen so that members in our classroom can see as many Zoom participants as possible and to save that layout for future meetings.Currently, we have to do this manually for each meeting after the presents starts screen sharing. We have someone monitoring chat and raised hands so that the presenter can concentrate on their lecture. I've reviewed the option to customize and save Gallery View order, but this isn't quite what we need.

Hi, Zoom Events seems to be having issues with assigning individuals into breakout rooms. When setting up breakout rooms during the live meeting, we also like to manually assign people to the room they need to be in.   However, we've noticed that there is always a handful of people who do not show up on the list to be assigned and are unable to assign them to a room overall. Trend seems to be that people who join the meeting via the WEB PORTAL can NOT be assigned to a room.  The people who joined the meeting via the web portal still can NOT be assigned even when we set to "automatically assign" attendees into random groups. I know this has been an issue that other users have experienced, but I'm not seeing any posts about it which is very surprising! I hope we can fix this glitch soon as interactive breakout rooms are a major component to all our events! Thank you,Aileen

Can I set up the settings so the only thing on a screen is the active speaker?  We do hybrid meetings  and have a screen set up for the people in person to see the presentation and a separate screen to show the people speaking on zoom.   Currently, when you speak, you also see the shared screen.   I'd like it, if possible to show only the speaker so it takes up the full screen.

Hi there. How do I set up weekly zoom call that people can sign up for for a fee? Basically if I was hosting a weekly zoom meeting and I want to charge attendees $5 or a package for 6 months, 1 year... is there a way to do that on zoom or I would have to use a their party? Thank you!

Hi,After a 3hr meeting I got a 1hr recording and two files that did not convert. I did tape as usual with a few pauses in between during breakout rooms. The only difference is my collaborator was a co-host and tried to record. Her recording did not work at all. How do I convert the rest?!Thanks for your help!

Hello, I am organising a medical workshop. I wish to broadcast 2 x live surgeries using laparoscopic stations that will be connected to 2 laptops with zoom access.  I want my virtual audience to be able to view both surgeries live and switch on or off the audio of the desired surgery. Is it possible in Zoom?Is it possible to create 1 zoom meeting id and broadcast the 2 surgeries at the same time? Thanks for your help and guidance. Alex

I am setting up a virtual conference using zoom events, which will run multiple simultaneous sessions. Can the hosts of those sessions also create breakout rooms during their individual sessions?
