Settings window with error (Debian Linux, KDE Plasma)I can't resize the settings window to access the options or edit them.This error has been happening for two Zoom updates. I'm currently using the latest version of Zoom for Debian Linux, which is 6.4.13 (2309).My operating system is Debian and the graphical environment is KDE Plasma.

Hello - just posting a call out that I can't seem to find anyone else having trouble with. When zoom workspace is open and running in the background, the keyboard shortcut for a screenshot continues to interact with all other open and running apps which is troublesome since the shortcut for a new browser tab is also control+t. Can someone get this to your development team to change that shortcut to literally anything else, please?

Someone please confirm that I'm not the only one that absolutely loathes the changes to how chats and favorites are organized in the Zoom client. It seems like no matter who I'm looking for, whether it's a "starred" favorite, a previous unstarred chat with an associate, or a channel I'm part of...  it's NEVER where I expect to find it. It seems like I'm forever clicking three dots to "view all" and then scrolling (sometimes for what feels like eternity) to find what I need. In about half the cases, I eventually give up and just search for the person I need to chat with...  but doesn't that defeat the purpose? My biggest gripe is with the starred section. What Zoom decides to show me seems to be constantly changing, and never shows me my entire starred list. The whole point of a favorite list is so that your "favorite" items are where you expect to find them, so you can get to them quickly... I dislike these changes vehemently, but when I broached this in a supp

Hi, I hope someone can help.i was in a zoom meeting hosted by an organisation when I got disconnected due to a network/ISP issue. I reconnected with a different ISP but kept on getting an error code 2008.I've tried uninstalling Zoom and reinstalling it, I registered for the webinar and tried joining from the new connection email, I've tried rejoining the webinar by copying and pasting the link into my browser. None of these steps worked.I still kept on getting error code 2008, which seems to be connected to a licensing issue. I find this odd as I am a free user and don't host any meetings. I only join meetings as and when invited by the non-profit organisation I volunteer with.Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi, I use Zoom under Linux Mint, and it was recently that I lost ability to pin group chat participants.The "Pin" menu item is still available, but nothing happens when I select it. Participant layout does not change.My Zoom version is 6.4.6 (1370), installed as Flatpak.Any ideas would be most appreciated...

Zoom updated today on Ubuntu and now I have a popup notification titled "Introducing Zoom Drive" that appears on all tabs and refuses to close. Yes, I clicked the x in the top right corner. Is there any way to get rid of this thing? 

If we are two individuals to co-host a webinar, and the person that hit the recording loses internet connection, does the recording continue or does it stop?

My company is attempting to use the Zoom Team Chat feature on desktops and cellular phones. The features work well except that multiple users complain that Zoom Workplace silently logs user out and they unknowingly miss messages. Our corporate IT team has adjusted the Max Devices setting to 3 per user and hence I do not believe the logouts are related to more than allowed logins.  I also recognize that turning off the phone or updating the app will cause logouts, but neither of those events are taking place. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to prevent these silent logouts on Apple Iphones?

I used my zoom account primarily for my book club.  My wife used my account for her biz. She did not like having my name displayed on her behalf (instead of her name) during zoom meetings. I terminated my zoom account and my wife enrolled in a paid zoom account. Problem solved...not so fast. I am a participant in a number of business zoom meetings scheduled by third parties. Yesterday, I joined my first business zoom meeting through a calendar invite from an external company.  During the meeting, my wife's name was displayed instead of my name.  I am ok if my wife's name is displayed when I use her account for my book club. It is not ok for her name to be displayed when I am engaged in business meetings in which I am an invitee.  How do I fix this problem?  

I am trying to convert a Zoom recording, but it keeps at 99%, and there is an "Xcode_error" file (see below). I think the camera was touched during the meeting, and maybe that caused the problem at some point. Is there a way to fix it and convert the movie? I did try the following recommendations that were online, but none of them worked:1. Tried to move the "double_click_to_convert_01/2" files to another folder that was converted and emptied from another video, but it could not move the file2. Using Zoom Workplace on my tablet the video camera is zoomed out such that it shows the whole office. I cannot find a way to make the camera zoom in. I tried pinching the screen and that does not work and I cannot find any settings to change the camera. I tried to use the virtual background and when it tries to load it comes up with an error. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.  Les

Hello,  I'm a spanish guy who talks in the mac zoom APP in spanish, english and catalan. From my mac its a disaster, I can't talk to my catalan colleagues without having to rewrite all the words I type. I have tried already to deactivate the autocorrect from the operating system (MAC) but it's still correcting the words (the zoom APP). When I have to talk to my catalan colleagues, I have to take my iphone to have proper conversations without having to rewrite every word. I have googled and searched in this forum for a solution. Can you help?I don't need any autocorrect but I can't turn it off from zoom, it's the only app on my Mac that acts like that. 

We use Zoom Chat as our company’s primary internal communication tool. I’d love the ability to reply to messages directly from a notification in iOS. When a notification comes in, I have to open the Zoom app to view the entire message and reply to it. It’s even cut off by a wide margin in the notification itself. By comparison, if a Slack notification comes in, I can view the entire message and reply directly without having to open the app.

In the zoom chat it is quite annoying that the user selecting popup rises when typing '@' expecially when typing emails. Can the zoom chat do like Disourse here does, do the user selecting popup only if there's a space before '@'? So when typing emails or quoting '@' no use selecting popup appears. The popup should appear only when the user type `<space>@`.Thanks!

Hi I have been using paid version of Zoom which is now Zoom workplace. More than a year back I have configured to logout automatically after few hours. This has been working fine but now I want to change that setting but not able to find it. I don't want to logout automatically. Where can I find this related setting? ThanksRam

Hi. I was using Zoom Workplace on my laptop for quite a long time now, but suddenly, Zoom Workplace glitches. It automatically signs me out everytime I relaunch it, cannot download files & pictures from the chatbox, emojis downloading stucks at 0%, automatically switches to light theme every time I enter Settings (in a Zoom app meeting). And the worst thing is: When I try to DM a contact in the Team Chat tab, it just requires me to add that contact even though I did the same on my desktop computer. And when I click "Add contact" and confirm (there's a confirmation before I add a contact), it just displays another window with a barrier logo, an Ok button, and NO TEXT, WARNINGS, OR ERROR MESSAGES. I wish I could share my screenshots of what happened as I do not have permissions, but the glitches are very weird. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Zoom Workplace, and searching for other solutions from people in this Zoom Community, but nothing worked. I guess the problem

Hitting select all on the keyboard doesn't select the entire conversation, and selecting the text manually only selects a small amount, not the whole text. Am I missing something?

I have done over 200 Zoom workplace podcasts using a Zoom Live Trak L8 audio console with no problems.    Within the past two weeks, Zoom Workplace is reluctant to recognize my L8 drivers.   It defaults to internal mic and headphones.I now have to open and close Zoom workplace four or five times before it will grab the L8 drivers. I have talked to Zoom electronics and they insist that the L8 is compatible with Zoom workplace.   Zoom workplace support says the L8 is not a compatible device. How is it then that I have used them for over two years with no trouble and suddenly there is a complication.  If I have Adobe Audition open and then open Zoom workplace,  Audition drops the L8 drivers and switches to internal mic and earphones.I have the L8 set a default in Apple system settings, but as soon as I open Zoom workplace it defaults to internal mic. I have downloaded new drivers for Zoom L8 and the Zoom Worrkplace app.   I'

Hi, I'm missing the option for reacting with an emoji to messages in zoom chat threads. I'm using an android phone, and until a few weeks ago I could hold down on a thread chat message and the option to react with an emoji would appear. To be clear, I'm able to react to normal messages sent in the chat, but if it's a message someone has written in response to an existing message, I can't react. I've tried re-downloading the app to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this?
