How do I turn off just the missed or accepted calls on my chats it is making me have more chats and I want my calls separate as notifications

When I am co-hosting and with participants privilege for unmuting, sharing, renaming disabled, I see a visible green tick ✅ against one participant name when I move the mouse over the participant. What does it indicate?! (I was using zoom version 6.5.6)

Hi, I do not get the font size option in settings or in the chat. I get all the other options. Why is that? The font is always super small and I cannot change it.

I have my Zoom VDI Workplace V6.1.13 installed and I am upgrading the version from my tenant.... the channel on the tenant is set to the latest version 6.2.11....  The application sees that there is an update pending as the registry is pointing to the correct channel in the tenant....When I reboot the Vmware VDI or close down Zoom in the system tray and re-open Zoom it should automatically update the version, but I am receiving the message:The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation....It's like the installer is no longer allowing a standard user to install the update, or the user has no rights to uninstall the current version...Anyone have any ideas?Any help greatly appreciated.

Why does one of my chat contacts have a red exclamation mark in a circle icon after their name? I'm on Linux Mint.

Hi there, I am having a problem with Zoom that I had never had before, Nowadays, It suddenly starts freezing on launch way more often than it did before, Sometimes, it literally fails to launch, which is pretty annoying, if you're wondering, I just force quitted Zoom app a few days, ago, nothing much. Would that be the problem? If so, Please tell me the solution to it, Thank you so much,Hasanapanta

A lot of our team uses reactions (emojis) as confirmation or acknowledgement of something sent in a team chat message (both direct messages and channels). However, I have not found a notification option when reactions are used on messages within team chat...not meetings. Is there a way to do this to keep us from having to go back in and check on things manually?

Lately, folks' statuses are automatically changing to Out of Office.  I have checked the settings, and it shows Away after X amount of minutes, but I don't see where it changes to Out of Office. Does anyone else see this? Kristi

I have written previously and gotten no response to a product suggestion. In short, the idea is to create a teleprompter mode so that presenters don't have to look away at their notes.   I gave a more fulsome description of the idea in my prior note.  Happy to discuss this with anyone on your team.

Hi Everyone, Thanks for the help!We want to read every messages sent into a channel in Zoom Team Chat, whether it's from our teams' accounts or external users that we invite to Zoom Team Chat channel. However, it seems the Zapier can only read messages sent by account integrated into the Zapier (meaning, we won't be able to read messages from External Users that doesn't belong into our groups/orgs). Is there a better way to approach this? As the trigger in Zapier is very limited to the account connected. Our main purposes will be to pass the messages sent by these users but the first trigger doesn't even work for external users or non-connected accounts (not connected to Zapier). Thank you.

We are in a meeting and having technical issues with the Chat function. It will not let the host message the waiting room and we have guests in the meeting today

Why can't I post my message

Hello, How do I contact Zoom to inquire about inaccurate reporting data for Webinars? For example, I know 20+ people registered to attend my webinar, but Zoom is showing only 14 registrants when I export the list. This has been an ongoing issue, and I don't know why Reports is not showing accurate data in real time.

Can an Admin User access deleted Zoom chats, or is that something only the Owner can see?

Dear Zoom Team,I am writing to express our concern regarding the recent update to your chat feature during meetings. The new format, which opens a separate chat window for each participant, is extremely inconvenient and disruptive, especially during sessions with a large number of attendees. In scenarios where over 100 participants are actively sending messages, it becomes practically impossible to follow conversations or provide timely responses. The fragmented experience severely affects the efficiency of communication and hampers engagement during meetings and webinars. We have been long-time users of Zoom and truly appreciate the platform. However, if this issue persists without a revert or improvement in functionality, we will be forced to explore alternative platforms that offer a more manageable and unified chat experience. We hope Zoom considers this feedback seriously and addresses the usability concerns at the earliest.

I want to enable Team Chat for a single group, leaving it disabled for the rest of the tenant.I have Team Chat disabled in Account Settings, but not enforced. In the Group's settings, I enabled Team Chat and configured security settings as desired.Members of this group do not have the Chat icon available in the desktop or web app, even 30 minutes laterI found this thread with a kooky workaround, that seems to be the actual (only?) approved solution: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Customer-Success-Forum/Team-Chat-Question/m-p/135217/thread-id/1445 2 years later, is this still the only way to enable Team Chat for a small group of users? It seems silly to have to enable this feature for all users and then disable it for the 98% not involved in this project. It also means employee onboarding documentation needs to be updated so new employees get added to the group that disabled Team Chat. This is considered an "insecure by default" posture (needing to take an action to maintain secur

Is there a way to paste formatted text form the clipboard unformatted in the Team Chat in the app? I can't seem to be able to find one for such a basic functionality. Constant clearing the formatting gets quite tedious. Every major browser now supports Ctrl+Shift+V for this. (Please don't suggest using some Notepad as an intermediate step)

how to capture, copy and paste image to zoom chat

Hi,I blocked and then deleted my friend's contact a bit ago, and no method of trying to add her back works. Is there any way to fix this or is there someone I could contact to do so?

I read this post https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Phone-System/Where-is-this-Contact-Center-Management/m-p/225618 but dont know how I can get to the screen shown in the post. Is this because I'm not the admin of Zoom?

Hello Zoom Team and Community,I'm reaching out to request an important feature for Arabic-speaking users of Zoom Workplace.Currently, when we type messages in Arabic (especially when mixed with English), the chat interface does not display them properly — the text alignment is left-to-right, which causes confusion and makes the messages hard to read. This affects not only readability but also the overall communication experience for Arabic users. It would be incredibly helpful if Zoom Workplace could support **right-to-left (RTL)** text rendering in chat, similar to how other platforms handle Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian. This is essential for teams working in multilingual environments and would make Zoom more inclusive and user-friendly.I hope this can be passed on to the product team, and I’d appreciate any updates or workarounds from the community in the meantime.Thank you!– Salah

Dear Team,I am getting no help in resolveing the issue mentions in the subject heading. I have been making endless enquiries without success. As a paying member using Zoom professionally, I would expect better so kindly help me fix this or fix it from your end. Thank you. Kind regards,Roddy

After the recent update, it’s become very difficult to manage chat messages during my Zoom sessions. Earlier, I could easily see all private messages sent by participants to the host in one place. Now, I need to select each participant to view their message, which is not practical when handling large groups. i saw a reply to another participant with the same problem with a suggested solution. but i cannot find the setting referenced in the suggested solution. and i see that a lot of other people have the same problem and cannot see this setting. is this a setting i have to get my school administrators to change?  this is ridiculous. just change it back.  this was a mess in an online test today.  i have an hour before my next test. sending an email is not going to solve this problem fast enough. you have not even approved and posted my questions here yet.  we should go back to Blackboard Collaborate.

Hello,  Is there a setting to allow attendees to view chat messages and uploaded files that were added before they joined? For example, if someone joins late, can they still see the chat and files?  Additionally, is there a way to attach files, or links that would appear as a banner in zoom (outside of the chat)? These files could be added at the time of scheduling the meeting or within the meeting once it has commenced.  I would like to find a way to add a couple of standard files to the zoom chat that are easily visible and accessible and stand out to users even if they do not have the chat open.  Thank you.

Got the error"Zoom - Schedule MeetingYou cannot edit this meeting to add continuous meeting chat capability as the meeting requires registration." This is a major FLAW, feature limitation, BUG in Zoom. The logic should be simple:Anyone who registers to the Zoom meeting and then is admitted by the Host, should be automatically added to the continuous meeting chat.By forcing the account owner to choose between continuous meeting  chat and meeting registration, the options become:1. Disable Meeting Registration, which then makes it hard to ban repeat offending users as we don't have their email.2. Enable Meeting Registration, disabling continuous meeting chat, forcing us to use whatsapp or another group messaging app. Both options are unacceptable. We need meeting registration to work hand in hand with continuous meeting chat, thereby limiting the need for additional software.
