I have certain channels set up with message preferences to only alert me for mentions and replies but I seem to get a red message indicator for all messages sent. Is there something else I have to do to only get notifications when I'm mentioned or replied to?

Why isn't there a way to delete zoom chats automatically? in the zoom admin portal i don't see an option to delete them after x days, the retention period option doesn't seem to work at all. Is there a way to delete zoom chats within zoom accounts without doing this manually?  We don't want to disable the chat function entirely

Hello I am using the latest version of zoom (5.16.10) I don't have the option for rich text formatting in chat. I am on Windows 11 Client on Laptop

I am currently trying to add custom emojis, but Zoom says that I am no longer authorized to edit custom emojis. So I want to go to "Account Settings" under Account Management in ADMIN to be able to enable Team Chat emojis. However, there is no Account Settings under Account Management when I go to Zoom's website. I am the owner of my account, so I do not know why it is missing.Going to https://zoom.us/account/setting just shows a 'No Permission. (200)'.

Hi there, Whenever a reply has been posted in a group chat and initally looked at, the reply dropdown doesnt seem to work to expand the replies to a message. This is across all devices and turning/logging on and off does not fix this.  In the attached picture this means when you click on the blue " 1 Reply" button, a new line to reply appears but not whatever the previous message was. Any solutions?

Every time I chose a person to chat, zoom chat appears to scroll through the previous conversations, and I cannot type in the chat box until it finishes scrolling.I have updated the software and i reinstalled it and it did not fix the issue.how fix this 

Here is an issue I'm experiencing. I have several people on my team. I LOVE THE POPUPS and ALERT SOUNDS when someone messages me. They are great. However I DO NOT get popups or alerts if the person who messages me is in context. I get it... When you are actively engaged with a chat you don't want it simultaneously popping up everything they are saying in a popup. However... I leave a message for someone then disengage with the Zoom App because they don't answer quickly. They message me 10 minutes later and that window isn't on my fore front of my display. I miss the message because no popup, no alert sound, nothing. I don't even notice it until 50 minutes later. The only remedy for this is to click out of that conversation. I do that, but sometimes, like this situation, I forget.I pride myself on prompt answers to IMs. I might not get to a Email right away because I am coding or whatever... I can't constantly stop work like that for every email. I handle them in chunks of time. I work

My mentor told me he has a Zoom group. He said he sent me an invite to it. I cannot find this invite on my app or desktop connection. What could be the problem?Where should I go to find the invite? Thank you.  

Really strange - my default skin tone in the Zoom IM is white; however, at some point the emoticons switched to a Hispanic skin tone.  I try to right click on the emoticon itself, but it doesn't give me the ability to switch back to white.  Any ideas?

Instructions under adding members to a Zoom Channel advises the below..  but does not tell you how to do thatWith version 5.11.0 or higher, you can copy-and-paste email addresses to add contacts in bulk.Can any one tell me how to do that with out adding members to a channel one by one?thanks!

We are trying to back up chat history for users who are no longer with our company, but I'm not seeing certain options as listed in the documentation (https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061552) I'm unable to find "Chat History" under our User Activity Reports as it specifies in the documentation. Is there a place Chat History can be enabled? I have ensured Store Messages to Zoom's Cloud was previously enabled and that the retention for users under Storage has been set to 5 years so that data should be there somewhere.....

Channels - How do we disable the button to start/schedule a meeting. we have Channels we do not want the ability to start or schedule a meeting in the Channel.

I would be neat to restrict emojis to certain groups (so they aren't visible org wide), allows groups to make their own custom emoji set, and hide custom emojis to those who lack permissions. 

We are in the process of introducing users to Zoom Team Chat.  Is there any administrative control or a way to do an initial set of the Team Chat notification settings?  My pilot users are saying they don't like Zoom chat because they miss messages.  They're missing messages because they don't have their notification settings right.  Is there a way to control or set those settings for the users?

My messages used to come in the newest message last. Now it mixes them up and I need it to go back to newest message last. Anyone know how to do that?

Zoom chat allows edits to chats. Especially one co-worker of mine consistently edits his chats after the fact and then cites the edited version to prove that he did or didn't say something. He writes snarky comments then deletes them.  Apart from screen shooting every correspondence with him, are there any ways to keep track of other people's edits (either built into zoom or via 3rd party apps)? I'd love if there were a "track changes" option on edits, or to know how to use it if it exists. 

I received an email from ZoomInfo Notification <***********> How do I know if its legitimate from Zoom - Its about use of users personal information.  

To whom it may concern: I am currently do not have the chat room application within my zoom account. It was there up until this past Monday 10/24 but has been missing as an option since Tuesday. Is there any suggestions what could have caused the application to disappear and how to get it restored as it is imperative for course work networking for a program I am currently taking. Thank you,  Llewelyn

I think zoom developers should add a new feature of "status video/photo" just like we have in WhatsApp for the chats. It would be fun for zoom chatters.

Hello.  I am wondering if as an admin, if there is any way to override and disable some of the user settings.  More specifically the 'Change my status to "Away" when inactive for __ minutes' setting?  We would like everyone to have this set to 5 mins.  Would be great if there is a way to do this!

Recently Zoom was updated creating several issues for me. I have confirmed that this is not just an issue for me. All updates have been made on my end, but to no avail. Here is what is happening ... When I use the whiteboard with an Apple Pencil, I am unable to change the color simply by clicking on the color options. If I don't use my Apple Pencil, then the color change works properly. However, as soon as I use the Apple Pencil, the color pad only works if I first click on the "T" then back to the pencil and then to the color pad. In addition, the eraser on the whiteboard sometimes erases parts of the board that the eraser isn't even near. These issues did not occur in the past. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?
