My co-workers and I frequently send files through Zoom chats. How do I change the location where those files are saved on my desktop when I download them? I'm using a Mac. Thanks!
Is there a setting to allow you to Preview an attachment eg PDF in a Zoom chat or Channel without downloading or opening in Acrobat? Slack allows you to do this and much better, quicker feature
In the iOS zoom client, users are complaining about how the notifications are not appearing right away. It appears either minutes later or not at all.

When trying to send a code snippet im getting an error message saying Message could not be sent.
Why am I not being able to see my message history after 1 year? I am on a desktop and just recently all my messages over 1 year have been deleted!! Hi all,I have tried clicking on chat icon, but there are no options to be able to chat. I can't type or send in the chat box either. The only option i get when clicking on the chat at the bottom of the screen is "show chat preview".Thanks in advance!
It'd be great if the Zoom Team Chat servers could be isolated from Zoom Meetings in some way so the airlines (in my case United Airlines) doesn't stop the ability to use text chat using Zoom Team Chat.And/or perhaps someone at Zoom can coordinate with the airline Wi-Fi providers on this. Super annoying.

Hi Zoom (or Zoomers), I have a pro account. I updated the Zoom Client this week. I am using Windows 11.I have three external Contacts in Team Chat. I have created a Team Chat private ‘Channel’.I have selected the following option in the channel settings: “External users can only be added by account owner and admins”I select the Channel ‘Add members’ option.The ‘Add members’ dialog box shows my three External Contacts.The dialog box seemingly does not allow me to 'select' any of the three External Contacts.The ‘Add’ button at the bottom of the dialog box is greyed out.As a plan B… I sent a link to the channel to an external contact. When the external contact taps on the link… he is told: ‘The channel cannot be found’. Let me know if I can supply any other information.Thanks in advance for your help !
Our requirement is creating a mediator app to get the messages from the zoom and send the messages to zoom We created a server-to-server app in the zoom and added web hook URL in the app to get the chat messages from the zoom and send the chat messages to zoom, here we are using grant type: ‘account credentials’ and get the token and then pass the token generated from the client credentials grant type to Send a chat message API(POST /chat/users/{user Id}/messages) to send the messages to user but here in server-to-server app Chat Message event is not there to subscribe the Chat message event in the event subscription , then which event captures chat messages from zoom workplace to trigger the web hook ?

Hello, there.I am using Zoom in our engineering team. I often input "--" to Zoom chat, as a prefix of some software's option, to instruct my team members.I am really bothered because Zoom always replaces "--" with "—" automatically.I found that I could disable this feature from the context menu (right-clicking menu).However, this configuration is saved only on current chats or meetings. I ran a meeting today with an amazing chat section. I already have it set in my settings for Zoom to save the chat & it always does. But today, when I looked at the recording, there was just the video & no chat. This is an error on Zoom's end, not mine. Is there a way to get the chat?
When I go to type something in a chat during a meeting it only allows me to type maybe two to three letters before it seems as if the cursor or the tab key is hit but neither is happening. It just started with this new upgrade. Please help?!?!? It only does this with zoom and no other program or application.

i cant access my chats on my laptop
Oftentimes I cannot open the replies to messages in the regular Zoom Chat. The chat shows me "3 replies" but when I click on it, only my own text box for responding is displayed. One of my colleagues has the same problem. Does anyone know how to solve it?

I have looked if there is an easy way to identify Team Chats where a file was shared. Even better to identify files share with an external Team Chat member.

Hello,For some reason, contact requests are not making it out to anyone. Status says "Pending" and in chat it lists them all as "You Sent A Contact Request" No one is receiving them in their email. I am logged in with Pro account. Any help/advice would be appreciated. JImmy Roberts
