I have updated my zoom app to version 5.7.5 (1020). I hid my zoom channel and I am unable to unhide it. Some of the channels show up when someone is added or someone sends a message in it. I searched for the solution on google and they work with older versions of zoom. Link-How to Hide or Unhide Chat in Zoom - YouTube .I figured out how to bring back the external contacts on my contact list, but not the channel. I even tried to exit and then open the app, it did nothing.

Is there a way i can force the code snippet feature in zoom chat to use a fixed font? It uses some non-serif font that causes the code and any data to be out of alignment. Doesn't matter what drop down I use for code style, it always shows up unformatted. None of the columns line up.

Is it possible for someone in the same zoom room as you to hack your computer? As an organizer and owner of the zoom, is it possible for someone to take over the zoom room from the owner without consent?Could a participant in a zoom room get hacked by another participant?Thank you. 

I need Zoom to create automatically a folder in my PC with the meeting saved chat. How can I do that?

Evening all I am suddenly having issues adding external contacts/users to my channels. I have been able to do this for years yet suddenly today I am unable to. It states that an invite has been sent to the account yet those account holders have received nothing in their emails or on zoom client. This is a huge part of the way we use Zoom as we are easily able to share resources and docs with the appropriate accounts using the channel. So any help would be greatly appreciated.  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360049320431 On the page above it states  that admins can enable disable certain external users privileges yet I cannot find where I can do this. 

To whom it may concern,My name is ninjamokumoku.  I have my paid Zoom account set to automatically save chat, and it always did until early August of this year. Last week I discovered that I'm no longer able to save any chat from any Zoom meeting I attend, whether I'm Zooming from my paid account or not. I recently discovered that some of my personal meeting chats have been saved in the Zoom cloud, but not all of my meeting chats. I need them all. Also, I am unable to download these chats and save them to my computer.  I don't need, or want, my chats saved to the cloud. I need them on my computer so that I can save a record of the students who are attending and participating in my classes. I brought this problem up in a Zoom meeting last week. Others in the meeting were able to save the chat (using the 3 dots at the top of the chat window), but I am not able to save the chat.I have tried restarting my computer. I hosted a meeting and recorded it on the cloud.  After Zoom completed it, I trimmed it to remove the first 2 minutes and 50 seconds.  I received a notification that the trim was finished.  However, I cannot find the trimmed version. Only the original recording is available. How do I find my trimmed recording?Dennis v.

I have a free account of Zoom Workplace Version: 6.2.3 (40682). On my desktop (MacOS Sequoia 15.0), the team chat had been working fine for several months, but then stopped. Now when Zoom is opened, the Team Chat window has the message "Loading error, Retry?" Clicking Retry refreshes with an empty window. I am able to send a message and any replies are visible, as long as Zoom remains open. But all previous chat messages before opening are not visible. The app on my iPhone works without these issues, and shows chat history. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop app, but the problem remains. There is one other person in my company that is in the Team Chat, and he has a professional account. He is listed in the sidebar menu, and he can see and reply to my messages. Hopefully someone can help, since support is not available for my free account, and the bot is useless.

Hi!There is a new feature in version 6.1.10 where a banner is present in every chat showing External members are present. Is there a way to disable that? It is very annoying and distracting.Thanks in advance.Ana

I run IT Operations and manage my company's helpdesk (among other things). I am looking for a way to have my Zoom client automatically respond to people in my company who send me messages for tech support. I need them to email our helpdesk mailbox, and not Zoom me and my team all the time when they have an issue. Ideally, it would automatically respond with a challenge response that first directs them to email our helpdesk mailbox if it is a technical issue and if that is what they need (like a hyperlink that opens their mail client with a prefilled To address), Zoom does not deliver their message to me, nor does it notify me of said message. If it is not a tech support issue, then it would allow the user to send me the direct message and show me a notification of a new message. I don't see that Zoom does this natively. Maybe there is a Marketplace App that does this for me? Maybe I need a custom webhook? Maybe Zoom could create this functionality? I think this function would be valuab

Hello, My problem on Zoom is that my chats (Both on Zoom in browser and Zoom app) on every meeting is that the first messages appear at the bottom screen and stay there for the rest of the meeting, so then all the new messages are above the messages when I first entered the meeting (this is on Zoom app)For the Zoom browser, every time a new message appears, it glitches to go above a few messages, and when I'm typing a reply, It sometimes glitches away from the reply.Thanks Have a good day/evening/night

I heavily relied on the Ctrl+T keyboard shortcut to jump around to different channels and chats. A recent update (a few months ago?) seems to now map "Screenshot" to the Ctrl+T shortcut, in addition to the previous shortcut of Alt+Shift+T. I don't see any options for mapping "Jump to chat" in the keyboard shortcut settings. Has this feature been removed? 

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct area for this but I have a question about Zoom software updates.  It seems as though initial installation of Zoom is a per-machine installation requiring Admin credentials due to the target locations of the installation.  However, updates seem to be per-user. I'm just wondering, or it seems to me that the core app requiring elevation and the per-user updates are really two distinct applications where as the per-user machine just 'feeds of of' the main app for functionality. In terms of Windows Installer, they would be two distinct apps where the per-user installation is not actually updating the per-machine app - not possible I don't believe.  Core functionality updates would always come in the form of per-machine installs. Is that the main idea behind how Zoom is installed and updated? Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this!

Their steps require building an app, then under scopes, I need to add the below scopes:Meeting"meeting:read: admin"Webinar"webinar:read: admin"Recording"recording:read:admin"User"user:read:admin"Team Chat"chat_channel:read:admin","chat_message:read:admin","imchat:read:admin",However, the above scopes were no longer visible. Can you confirm if the scopes mentioned above are still active? If yes, why am I not seeing it? We are on a Business account for Zoom .  

I recently updated my Zoom app, and now the channel name is jittery and most of the time i can't see the chats and messages, this issue is for all my groups. I tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling, but that didn't work. I also tried leaving the channels and rejoining, but that also did not work. 

Hello all, I am the owner / admin of a Zoom One Business plan. In July 2021, I had experimented briefly with exporting a csv history of a Zoom Team chat for archival / long term safekeeping. I understand that Zoom lets us hold onto them in the cloud for up to 10 years, but we just want to archive the channel with the rest of the job data and delete it entirely from the cloud. I'm not worried about broken attachments / links. As of July 2021, there was a feature in Zoom which allowed me to export a channel's chat history to a csv. I recall having to add myself to the channel to be able to do it, but it was absolutely doable. I have an exported test file on my computer to this day. That feature seems to have vanished from Zoom client / web interface. All I can seem to do is export a csv list of the channel's members which isn't helpful. Does anyone recall how to export the actual chat data from a channel to a csv? It used to be possible.

Nice to meet you.I would like to share music from my computer (including YouTube), but even though I check "Share Sound" in "Screen Sharing," the music is not being shared. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?Recently, perhaps due to the noise-canceling feature, the music I play on my end is completely blocked and cannot be heard by the other party.If anyone knows how to share music on Zoom, please let me know.

Hi -- I'm wondering if there is a character limit in the chat box?  Some times I have around 800 characters in a passage I need to share with my group and a message appears saying 'message is too long".   Thanks
